Chapter 158 Selling Items

Chapter 158 Selling Items

''Good, good, good. So we agreed. However, do not forget to inform your mentor of this. Then, if he gives his consent, I'll give you the key and the item you need to find what I'm looking for,'' Fang said with a cheerful laugh.

Even after accepting Raydon's word, he desired the approval of the high-ranking item holder who stood behind him. Also, item holders would normally use a special skill to seal the agreement between two parties, but even though Fang did not know Raydon very well, he did not offer to do so, instead relying on the reputation of the high-rank behind him.

Having gained so much as a result of the fictitious high rank behind him, Raydon happily shook Fang's extended hand.

''You probably have some from the last match that you want to sell, so I won't hold you up then. You'll get assistance for that from my friend down there. Take this as well; you can use it to get in touch with me; you don't need to return here to tell me how your mentor responded. '' Fang got to his feet and said as he headed out the door. From his dimensional storage, he pulled out a silver ring and gave it to Raydon.

''Yes, thank you. Later, when I receive my mentor's response, I will let you know about it.  See you. '' Raydon took the ring, put it on his finger, and then turned around to head back down the stairs.

[Ring]

-Grade: White

-Quality: Excellent

-Skill: Call

Selecting the frequencies that this communication device is already paired with allows for instant communication. To use it, it is not required to be bound.

Available contacts (1/100):

-Fang the Butcher

-Mana cost: -

-Duration: -

-Cooldown: -

'Excellent? This is the first time I've ever seen quality like this. I'm curious as to how much this item costs. ' As he descended the stairs, he looked at the ring and gave it some thought.

He was not surprised to learn that item holders didn't use regular cell phones for regular phone calls, but it was still surprising to see that items could be used for such purposes.

''You look happy huh? ''

Raydon saw the shopkeeper who always takes good care of him waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs. When he noticed Raydon's smile, he must have assumed he was in a good mood.

''Yeah, I want to sell a few things. '' He said, without losing his cheerful demeanor as he approached the man. He had a lot to sell, but more importantly, he wanted to learn about a few things.

"Sure, show me what you've got this time," The man inquired with evident curiosity in his voice. It had been a while since Raydon had been here, and he was curious about his progress given that he should now be selling two match worth of items.

Before he started to unload his dimensional storage, Raydon showed him an item he found in the fourth match and asked.

"How much is it worth?"

[Shirt]

-Grade: Green

-Quality: Good

-Skill: Transform: Water Turtle

The user's genes will mutate rapidly, giving them the appearance and abilities of a Water Turtle.

The rate of adaptation to the transformed species varies based on the charisma stat.

The duration of the skill depends on the stamina stat.

-Mana cost: 50

-Duration: 15 minutes.

-Cooldown: 10 minutes.

This was the transformation-type skill used by one of the rabbits Raydon met in the 4. match. Although he wasn't entirely certain, he believed it to be a rare skill.

'As expected, again, he killed someone from the opposing team.' The man wasn't even surprised that Raydon was selling items he had dropped from the enemy team.

''Hmm, a transformation-type skill. It is difficult to craft items with such skills as they are usually more complex. But I know Water Turtle, and it's a transformation type that only works in specific match regions, so I can only offer 11,000 gold. '' After some thought, the man stated.

Raydon was taken aback by the high cost, given his earlier assessment that this form of transformation serves no practical purpose.

He was also well aware that this species' only land-based ability was defense, so it probably wouldn't fare too well in a non-naval match environment. In addition, he saw that the rabbit's reaction time and speed decreased dramatically after using it in the previous match. Not to mention the movement speed. So, despite the fact that it had so many flaws, such a high price was quite surprising.

''Deal. ''

After selling this item, Raydon displayed a different item that was the reward for the fourth match. It was a snake spine with a watery appearance.

When Raydon received it as a match reward, he read that it was called Liquid Snake Spine and that it was a green-grade crafting material. However, he was unable to verify this information from the system at the time.

"Hmm, this is a green-grade material for crafting. Although not particularly uncommon, it is worth 900 gold coins. You can probably make three to four items with this if you want to craft something that is water-type. '' Since he was aware of Raydon's personality, he gave him every piece of information he might have needed without his asking first.

Given that it is not particularly rare and is of the water type, Raydon has decided to sell it as well.

Later, he displayed yet another green-grade blazing skin crafting material he had won from his fifth match, and having discovered that it was not particularly rare, he decided to sell it, too.

Even though Raydon had increased his own dimensional storage from 7 square meters to 19 square meters by using white-grade dimensional storage expansion orbs from the golden skeleton's inheritance, he still didn't want anything he didn't need taking up space.

After Raydon learned what he needed to know about the items he needed to learn about, he began unloading his dimensional storage in front of the man's bewildered eyes, including the items he had acquired in the fourth and fifth matches.
