GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

Chapter 1955 Stubbornness.

Chapter 1955 Stubbornness.

Chapter 1955  Stubbornness.

If it were anyone else, they wouldn't have any choice aside from challenging the hero of a god in order to get the attention of the god. But Taylor has another choice. He can become the hero of another god. If Tfuck becomes a hero, he wouldn't have gone through so much trouble to become a demigod. But the guy is stubborn. He refused to become a hero when it was first offered to him, and he has continued to refuse it till now. Taylor thinks that Tfuck is troublesome, but he can't help respecting him. He thought Tfuck would regret the decision to reject the heroes that he made when they were offered heroic class, but the guy is just too stubborn to back down.

Many gods have offered Tfuck the heroic class ever since. Probably only 9 Crowns hasn't offered him the class again. But Tfuck has continued to reject them.

Taylor doesn't like that stubbornness, but he has to respect it. That's the limit of his respect for Tfuck, though. The rest of his opinion about the fistfighter is pity. It is because he knows with the utmost certainty that Taylor stands no chance of success whatsoever.

He has confidence in this judgment because he can still remember the time 9 Crowns taught him his current divine skill. The skill itself is sublime. But its source is truly divine. He thought back to that memory and shook his head in pity. "They are nothing like humans at all. Be it physically or mentally. They are alien. You will fail, and it will be miserable."

"The gods supporting you are just using you as a tool. In fact, you are a tool that they wouldn't consider if they had any other choice. But they are desperate and out of other options. They can only use you to scratch the prestige of 9 Crowns."

He can still remember the war that shook the whole mortal realm. That was a hundred years ago, but it is still clear in his mind. He saw thousands of gods face a single god and fall like flies. 9 Crowns, his pantheon, and his five allies fought against all the gods in the Northern Divine Realm and won. That war truly opened his eyes to what kind of power gods wielded.

But far more than that, it showed what kind of power the god at the top of all the ranking lists possessed. When that kind of power is combined with the kind of skill he witnessed, then he believes that the only thing in Tfuck's future is despair.

113 years have passed since the war of men and gods that covered the whole northern mortal realm. A lot has happened since then.

The Apocalypse pantheon has gone on to invade the tower of realms of other divine realms. They have had a lot of success in that time. Coupled with the evolution of their God king into Tier 6, called Celestial God, the Pantheon has increased both in quantity and quality. The Apocalypse Pantheon is unmatched in all four realms despite having enemies in all four realms. In fact, many gods are trying to get into the Pantheon and become subordinate gods of 9 Crowns. Unfortunately, the Pantheon can only hold 2,200 gods. 2,200 out of 4 million gods is just a drop in the ocean. Some pantheons don't even have up to 2,200 gods. The average number of gods in a pantheon is 800 because most of the god kings in God's Domain are just Tier 4 gods called Heavenly gods. Less than ten of the four million gods have met the requirements to become Tier 5 Dominion gods, and even fewer are Tier 6 Celestials like 9 Crowns.

Publicly, there are only three gods who are Celestials. One of them is 9 Crowns. The other two are also 9 Crowns allies. Out of the public eye, there are 6 more Celestials, and they are closer to him than allies. Even so, the fact that they have at least one Celestial makes it the norm that 9 Crowns and his apocalypse pantheon would be terrorizing the gods. No one would be surprised to see 9 Crowns flying around the divine realm like an eagle looking for prey. At this point, it is part of their way of life and culture for 9 Crowns to bully other gods. But this time the gods have other reasons to be riled up.

The ancient titans have awakened again. The terror and fear that the gods feel for them have stolen the spotlight from 9 Crowns. This would be the fifth time that they were going to wake up. This would also be the first time the gods felt confident about besieging the ancient titans themselves and killing them on their own. Well, only 9 Crowns was confident of victory. The other gods only came to watch this momentous occasion. It didn't look that way, though. It looked like an army of gods had come to besiege the ancient titans. But it was only 9 Crown that was going to fight. The rest only came to spectate and cheer them on. What's more, they didn't come in their true bodies for fear that 9 Crowns would harvest them for divinity and domains. Divinity can be lost, but not domains. Not after it became a requirement to own 1% of a domain to become a Tier 5 Dominion God. A single unit of a domain is 0.001%. That means if they want to become Dominion gods, they need to accumulate a thousand domains.

This requirement also means that only a maximum of a hundred gods could become dominion gods with the same domain. In reality, less than 50 gods can become Dominion gods with the same domain. The remaining 50% will be distributed amongst the other gods or hidden in undiscovered places. Right now only six of the gods have met the requirement to become Dominion gods in all of God's Domain. That's how important each domain is and difficult the requirement to become Dominion god is.
