Chapter 1983 How To Become An Absolute.
"Absolutes are the ultimate aspects. By Ultimate, I mean that they can't be defeated by any aspect. There are 12 Absolutes. It is why you can only have 12 channels to your Origin and why you can only have 12 aspects in your Supreme law."
"An Absolute is clearly good, but there is only one person that I know that has an Absolute. That person is not in the void universe. Not even the creator of the void universe has an Absolute. Absolutes are that rare."
"In a perfect world, you should be able to turn each of your Origin channels into an Absolute. But that is not possible if only for the fact that you can only have one Absolute. An Absolute just won't suffer the existence of another. There is no way around that."
"Even turning one aspect into an Absolute is almost impossible for people to achieve. It is because each aspect has about 0.00000000000000000000000001% of turning into an Absolute. The chances are lower than that, actually.
"Think about it: how many people do you think are there in the void universe? Yet, there is no one with an Absolute aspect. So the chances are much lower than that."
"That is why it is best if you can combine your aspects. They will combine if they work together instead of against each other. That way you will have a 12 times increase in your chances of getting an absolute."
"That is just 0.00000000000000000000000012%. But it is still 12 times better than 0.00000000000000000000000001%.
"If you have the confidence in your Supreme law, you can turn it into Absolute any time. All you need is to be connected to an Origin while you fight an Absolute."
"If you have what it takes to become an Absolute, you won't die. You will be able to gain a draw against the absolute. But if you don't have limitless potential, a draw won't happen. All you will get is a loss.
"You can probably tell the outcome of a loss from what an Absolute is. But if you don't try it, you will never become an Absolute. I assure you that it isn't easy at all. If it were easy, many people would be Absolutes."
Legion-9 said, "That was enlightening."
Legion-2 said, "It also wasn't difficult. I don't see why there was a warning."
Legion-1 answered, "His warning meant something to our previous selves. They were weak, but we are strong."
Legion-7 thought so too. He didn't find anything amiss, so he said, "Let's move on to important things."
Legion-10 asked, "Which do we do first?"
They have three important things to do. They need to upgrade their incomplete Universal artifact, build a world forge for themselves, and build an abyss for Aeternus.
All of these can be done now or after they become world gods. But no matter when they decide to do them, they have to take care of the matter of the world ender in Legion-1's inner world. The first thing they did was to share the Authority of the void universe among themselves. Now that they have their Supreme laws, they can finally use the Authority of the void universe.
They want to use it now because they will need power for what they are about to do. They also want to test its efficacy and see if they should use them for something else that will be more helpful in making them stronger.
They had 18,650 units of the Authority of the Void Universe among themselves. Each one of them was greedy and wanted everything for themselves. But they had the Aspect of Unity, which makes them enhance each other. With it, they will be stronger when they share their power. For example, if they had a total of 160 units of the Authority of the Void Universe, the way to get the best out of it is to share it evenly among themselves.
If they each take 13 units, their total power will be 13 × 12 × 12. 1,872 is almost 12 times greater than the 160 units that they had to share.
So if one of them took all the 160 units for themselves, they wouldn't be able to match the total power that sharing and using the Aspect of Unity will bring them.
Unfortunately, the aspect of Unity only works based on the weakest link between them. If one of them holds 28 units while the remaining 11 take 12 units each, only 12 will be used, so their power will just be 12 × 12 × 12.
1,728 is just 144 less than 1,872. But things could be worse if 11 clones take 14 units each while they force one of them to only have 6 units. Their total power will be 5 × 12 × 12, which is 720. Another thing that can happen is if one reason or another, one of them decides not to partake in the Aspect of Unity at all. If this clone absconds with most of the units and takes 138 units for themselves, the remaining 11 clones will still be stronger. After all, 2 × 11 × 11, which is 242, is greater than 138. This is despite the Aspect of Unity only working for 11 of them and those 11 having to use 2 units each. In summary, the power that the Aspect of Unity grants them is Weakest Link X Number of Clones in Unity^2. It is the fourth stage of unity. The fourth stage of unity can't force them to work together. They have a choice to work with the rest or not. The fourth stage can only provide the incentive for them to cooperate.
Even when it succeeds in convincing them to work together, it will only work if they are equal. That's why it will only work based on the power of their weakest link.
This is not an accident. It was done intentionally because none of the clones are willing to allow anyone to be better than them.
