Chapter 1389: Sangsang, I Missed You Too

Yan Su didn’t reply to him. She was probably rehearsing for tomorrow. After all, there would be another round of contestants and she had to be at her best.

If Jiang Yuning weren’t in the room, he would give her a call right now.

Ten minutes later, Nian Xi came over. Jiang Yuning immediately stood up to welcome her.

“Xi, I missed you,” he said.

Mo Liuxi twitched his lips. They were only separated for twenty minutes. How could he possibly be missing her already?

“How are you doing here?” Nian Xi held his hand, and said, “Do you need anything? Let me know.”

“I need you,” said Jiang Yuning affectionately.

Nian Xi smiled a big, happy smile.

Mo Liuxi stayed silent, shuddering slightly. This was too much.

“Liuxi, please take care of Yuning at night. Thank you very much.” Nian Xi talked to Mo Liuxi with a grin, “He’s a bit shy, and he doesn’t like talking much. He knows little about how to get along with others, but he’s a nice person.”

“Emm.” Mo Liuxi responded to her in a low voice, then went back to his phone.

Nian Xi turned to Jiang Yuning and said, “Liuxi looks cold and proud, but he’s warm on the inside. He’s a very good person.”

“Oh, but it has nothing to do with me.” Jiang Yuning blinked his eyes and said, “You should tell that to his girlfriend.”

Nian Xi wasn’t sure what to say about that.

Mo Liuxi didn’t want to say anything. He only wanted the two people in his room to disappear soon.

“Let’s go to my room and let Liuxi have some time alone.” Nian Xi found Mo Liuxi so annoying, so she quickly whisked Jiang Yuning away.

Mo Liuxi sighed with relief. Thank goodness! Suddenly, the world was so quiet.

But how unfair the world was. Dull and rigid people like Nian Junting and Jiang Yuning had girlfriends, while he was still single. Go figure.

...

Four o’clock in the afternoon. People in the family group chat agreed to meet in the hotel lobby. They planned to visit the Broken Bridge together. Even though it was cold out, people came from all over the country to see the snowing Broken Bridge.

After meeting with the others, Mo Liuxi asked, “Where are we going for dinner?” He made it sound like a casual question.

“A restaurant nearby. Yan Su said the food there isn’t bad, and the place is nice. They have a courtyard,” Luosang said.

Mo Liuxi grew excited the moment he heard Yan Su’s name. “She’s not from Hangzhou. Is she sure the food is good?”

“She asked someone from the TV station for a recommendation. She’s pretty sure.” Luosang glared at him and said, “Don’t always be mean to her. You’re a man. Be generous.”

“I’m not mean to her.” Mo Liuxi looked at the snow-covered landscape and said, “But I wasn’t expecting to have her at the dinner. She still needs to prepare herself for the contest tomorrow night.”

“Yeah. I haven’t seen her in a big half a year. She’s so busy, but still, she decided to come to see me. She’s my best friend,” said Luosang happily.

Once her voice faded, she heard two men snorting with laughter.

“What does that look on your faces mean?” She was a little displeased.

“The snowy Broken Bridge is so beautiful,” Nian Junting sighed. “There was a poem, ‘The West Lake looks like the fair lady at her best; Whether she is richly adorned or dressed.’”

Luosang just ignored them. Argh! Boys will be boys!

After spending some time appreciating the beautiful snow, the group of people went to the restaurant. Yan Su was already there. She was wearing a thick down coat and a bright red scarf and was standing in the courtyard. Her brows were slim and dark. Her lips were thin and perfectly shaped. In the dim light of dusk, she looked stunningly beautiful.

“Su, long time no see.” Luosang rushed up to her and gave her a huge hug. “I missed you.”

“Sangsang, I missed you too.” Yan Su hugged her back, “How’ve you been?”

“Good. You?”

“I’ve been good too,” Yan Su nodded. “Couldn’t be better.”
