Chapter 318: I am Dangerous
The woman nodded and closed the slit before leaving.
Yun Xiangxiang didn’t panic. She sat beside the table and started eating the grapes on the plate.
She had to restore some strength so she could negotiate with Lucifer.
There were no knives or sharp tools here; nor was there any TV. It was a place that could lock people up and not give them a chance to resist or kill themselves.
About five grapes later, the room’s door was opened, and Lucifer appeared before her in a brown suit.
Yun Xiangxiang glanced at him and continued popping the grapes into her mouth.
Lucifer sat down on Yun Xiangxiang’s opposite side. “You look at ease,” he spoke in Mandarin.
“Even if I cry or freak out, would you let me go out of sheer kindness?” Yun Xiangxiang asked.
“No.” Lucifer smirked.
Then what I should do is to make sure I’m in my best form.
Knowing that Yun Xiangxiang was ignoring him, Lucifer spoke first. “Aren’t you curious why I brought you here?”
“I think my value to you is merely a weapon against Ah Mian.” Is that a trick question?
“Yes, but that was in the past; now I think your charm attracted me.” Lucifer suddenly got close to Yun Xiangxiang.
Yun Xiangxiang slowly crept backward and put some distance between them. “Mr. Lucifer, you’d do well not to get too near to me.”
“Why?” Lucifer asked.
“I’m dangerous.” Yun Xiangxiang smiled innocently. “Especially to those I dislike.”
“Really?” Lucifer stood up and went up to Yun Xiangxiang. His tall figure cast a shadow that obscured Yun Xiangxiang.
He slowly leaned over and put his hands on the armrests of Yun Xiangxiang’s chair. “Coincidentally, I love an adventure.”
Yun Xiangxiang saw the aggression in his eyes; she knew he wasn’t joking with her.
She became vigilant. Lucifer slowly leaned forward; his breath had touched Yun Xiangxiang’s face. The pair of evilly blue eyes were admiring their prey.
“Song Mian is a perfectionist; I wonder will he still want you if I ruin you?”
Yun Xiangxiang couldn’t tilt her head further. At the moment he tried to kiss her, Yun Xiangxiang raised her hand to block him.
She glanced at Lucifer from the corner of her eyes; this man’s side profile’s features were chiseled. It looked great.
But it held no attraction for Yun Xiangxiang. “Don’t get any closer, or I will make sure your life becomes a living hell.
Lucifer licked Yun Xiangxiang’s palm. “You’re just like a little cat who’s baring her tiny fang. Don’t you know the more you struggle like this, the more men want to conquer you?”
Yun Xiangxiang pushed him away. She frowned and rubbed her palm on his shoulder.
As Lucifer chuckled, she quickly pressed on his spine. “I can break your spine; want to try it out?”
Lucifer’s smile faded. He turned to the side and glanced at his back. His gaze darkened, and he tried to kiss Yun Xiangxiang.
Yun Xiangxiang tilted her head quickly, and the kiss landed on her cheek.
The moment Lucifer tried to kiss her, Yun Xiangxiang squeezed his spine tighter, but Lucifer was faster.
He pushed the armrest on Yun Xiangxiang’s chair and sent her spinning around. With his other hand, Lucifer quickly caught her wrist.
He gazed at Yun Xiangxiang, but she only beamed at him. As the alarms went off in his mind, an electric current had already coursed through his body.
“I wanted you only to focus all your defenses against my left hand...”
Yun Xiangxiang pulled her left hand away from Lucifer, whom she was still tasing. Lucifer felt that everything was spinning. He could feel his strength slowly slipping away from him.
“You’re a smart man. I knew I had to have a trick up my sleeve to face you calmly. If I showed you my trump card too early, you wouldn’t be tricked.
It was fortunate that she learned about the human body from Song Mian, or else she couldn’t accurately catch the most crucial part of Lucifer’s spine.
Lucifer mistook that as Yun Xiangxiang’s trump card, and he wanted to have her know how naïve she was.
Her other hand seemed unoffensive, and it instinctively touched his shoulder as if she was worried she might fall as the chair was spinning.
She even used her acting and pretended to pay all attention to her left hand. It was as if she was betting it all on this.
That was why Lucifer wasn’t on guard, and she was lucky she went to shoot the promo ad today.
Lucifer must have thought everything was needed for the shoot; including this ring since this simple gold ring looked unassuming.
That was the point of why Song Mian made the ring look like this.
The person who changed her clothes must have been his maid. Since they couldn’t touch her items, they didn’t take this ring off.
Yun Xiangxiang pushed the limp Lucifer and quickly went to shut the window’s curtains.
Lucifer’s constitution was superb; he didn’t black out even until now. His eyes were still open, but he was limp.
It seemed that he wouldn’t stay down long. She quickly tore off the bed cover and wrapped Lucifer up in it.
Now that she learned her lesson, she took off Lucifer’s coat, wristwatch, and rings.
She took out the cover’s stuffing and wrapped him up in another layer. He looked like a mummy with only his head sticking out.
She fiddled with Lucifer’s ring, and just like she had expected, a sharp blade popped out.
She put Lucifer aside before going to sit down and finishing the grapes.
When she was almost finished eating, the paralyzed Lucifer could move again. “You didn’t run away. Surprising.”
“Run?” Yun Xiangxiang chuckled. “Can I make it out? I even shut the curtains just because I’m worried you might have snipers lying around out there.”
Facing someone like Lucifer, running away, or dragging the unconscious him out would spell the end for her.
“What do you want to do now?” Lucifer didn’t expect Yun Xiangxiang to have even thought of this.
Yun Xiangxiang rubbed her belly. “I’m not hungry, so you’ll stay here for a while. But I trust that someone will bring me away soon.”
“You do know that my men can kill you even if there’s a wall between you and them, right?” Lucifer gazed at her coldly.
“But will you ask them to?” Yun Xiangxiang smiled confidently.
This was why she didn’t hold the unconscious Lucifer hostage.
Lucifer’s men only cared about his safety, but the man himself had to consider a lot more...
