Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

Chapter 121 It's His Problem Now

Chapter 121 It's His Problem Now

"So… you both are back on the top of the leaderboard?" Mia asked while looking from Zack to Emma.

They had just told her the recent events that had been going on though Zack had excluded the fact that he knew who Hayden Solanski actually was.

"Yes, we are back at the top yet the game is just getting started," Zack replied before he went forward and flick Mia's forehead. "But that's not what we are going to do. Let's go out."

"You do know that anything can happen even if this place is secure?"

"We will take a few men with us," Zack replied though he was thinking something else. 'I can always summon Chastiefol or another weapon in case anything goes wrong. But then, they can be a chance where they won't appear.'

Zack then checked his messages to see that Eva had replied to who the man was.

It was her cousin.

'I didn't Eva had other family members, at least those who lived with her.' Zack then showed the message to the duo as they too wondered the same thing.

"I will ask her about it when she returns. Let's go out now." Mia said while standing up from her bed.

Emma and Zack followed her example as they moved out of the room.

After talking to the two guards who were usually stationed at the entrance of the house, the trio managed to get ten bodyguards to secretly follow them and act if anything went wrong.

"Did you know that this place has a shop with more than two hundred flavors of ice creams?" Mia suddenly asked as the trio set out. "Also, you can eat everything there for free."

Zack and Emma exchanged a look as they wondered how much Mia had eaten and tested till that point.

"Let's go there then," Zack replied before he remembered a conversation he had with Mia. "What happened to you playing Hikari?"

"I tried that after you both had logged in at the headquarters," A sad smile appeared on Mia's face. "But the moment I started the link with the VR glasses I got disoriented and nauseous. It was so bad that I had to quit the game."

"That's weird…" Zack muttered as he didn't remember any case like that. But then, such cases wouldn't have made it to the trending topic in a world where Hikari was everything.

"Did you talk to Eva and asked her why it was happening?" Emma asked curiously as the trio suddenly turned right.

"She said that she had no idea such a thing could also happen. So now, I can't play Hikari."

They then decided to drop the topic and reached the shop a few minutes later on.

"Well, the appearance is definitely surprising." Emma couldn't help but feel that the shop in front of her looked out of place.

After all, the entire Doogle mansions were full of luxurious buildings while the shop looked like something you would find out in the open.

Mia had a small smile on her face as she had the same feeling when she entered the shop first time. Eva had brought her by saying that it was one of the best dessert shops in the entire world.

"Well, let's go inside," Zack said with a sigh as he walked towards the door which parted immediately.

From inside the shop, a young girl walked out with a Popsicle in her hand as she looked at the trio.

They didn't pay her any attention and moved inside the shop. The young girl paused as a grin appeared on her face.

"So they look the same in real life," She muttered before looking at Mia. "I wonder who that girl is…"

While grinning, the girl turned away and started walking away from the shop. She wondered when Zack and Emma would find out about her.

'If Miss Evangeline wanted, she could have told them earlier. Guess I will just wait till she tells them herself.' The girl then made her way to the center of the place where Eva's mansion was.

After all, that was going to be her new home from now on.

"I don't think I have ever said this but I will say it now. I would kill to eat those ice cream." Zack wiped his face clean as the trio stepped out of the shop.

Mia gave him an "I told you so" look while walking beside him. Now that they had eaten, she knew that Zack and Emma would have to go back.

The black-haired girl wished that she could go and play Hikari too yet even staying inside the game for a second made her feel extremely sick.

"When will you come out again?" Mia suddenly asked as Zack tilted his face while looking at her.

"Who said I am going back so soon? I still have some work left to do here so I will probably go back after a day," He then paused for a second. "As for when I will return after that, I don't know."

Mia pouted at his response but didn't say anything else. She then looked at Emma who was walking behind the siblings to let them have some time alone.

The pink-haired girl was instead looking at the rest of the residents of Doogle mansions and was surprised to see that most of them looked outright depressed.

"Only the richest of the richest live here however, their life isn't easy," Mia commented as the two siblings too fell back. "There lives are full of constant worries and now, the fear of being nuked."

"Then they are living the same life as us. But look at us," Emma waved her hands over the trio. "We seem to be doing just fine, don't we?"

Zack chuckled at Emma's words before nodding. It was exactly like she had said. They too had many worries yet seemed to be doing fine.

Their current mission was to talk to Hayden Solanski and bring him to Jonathan to make him hold an oath with the king.

That wouldn't be so hard, would it?

"Mi- Eva, she has arrived at the Doogle mansions. I have asked the staff to give her a room in your house before finding a suitable space for her," Charlotte, Eva's secretary, reported. "Should I try to find a house for her and the others which would be protected?"

"No, let them stay there." Eva rubbed her temples while staring at the screen in front of her.

A pair of black glasses rested on her nose as she stared above the computer. Currently, a hologram that was spread across the entire room was present above her computer.

Only she could see the hologram and that was because of the glasses she was wearing. Eva only used the glasses when she was looking at something that she couldn't share with anyone.

Not even her trusted secretary.

"You like having people around you, don't you?" Charlotte asked with a small smile as she saw Eva's jaw face twitch a little.

She then decided that it was better to leave Eva alone and left the room.

'I guess she was right though…' Eva thought with a sigh before she looked at the hologram once again.

It didn't contain any super classified information or anything like that.

The hologram was instead the chat she was having with the head of the Solanski empire, Puten Solanski. He was head of one of the three biggest criminal syndicates and a very exclusive man like Eva.

She had tried her best to pursue Puten to let his son talk with Zack but she hadn't been able to properly answer his questions. After all, Zack hadn't exactly given her the answers.

'Now I wonder what I should do.' Eva scratched her head while staring at the screen in front of her.

Puten had demanded a few things from Eva and the CEO was not going to give him anything.

Puten couldn't even do anything against her since the entire thing could only be seen by the two of them and old messages vanished after ten seconds, never to be seen again.

After some thinking, an idea appeared inside Eva's mind. Though it was a very scummy idea and would likely put her at some odds with Zack and Emma, she had no choice except using it.

A few seconds later, she got the approval and stared rubbing her temples.

"It's his problem now," Eva muttered before calling Zack. "I have done my part."
