Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

Chapter 91 You Actually Did It

Chapter 91 You Actually Did It

"Now, I think we can easily clear the original quest Jonathan had given us," Emma muttered as she yawned and looked at the four unconscious people.

No one would have believed Zack if he had told them that the yawning pink-haired woman was the one who defeated the unconscious people.

"Emma, let's just head back with all these people," Zack said with a sigh as he summoned Daedalus and Icarus again.

Because of the two eagles, Zack and Emma's work became a lot easier as they could travel from one place to another at a very fast pace.

If not for the two eagles hoping to scam the duo, they would have never been able to enjoy such things.

'The king had asked to tell you to be careful but I guess you didn't need to be warned.' Daedalus muttered when he and Icarus saw the four bodies lying on the ground.

"Now, I and Emma are stronger than before so maybe, we will be requiring less of your help," Zack announced before he opened the rankings.

He was currently the 76th ranked player while Emma was ranked at 81st place. Even if a hundred players reached level 30, they needed to pass the ascension trial.

'You need to go back to the capital?'

"Yes."

Daedalus and Icarus then landed on the ground and two minutes, they shot towards the capital with multiple people lying on them.

Zack had already tied up the unconscious people so in case they woke up, he could basically torch them alive using his blue fire.

Looking below, the Eizenburgh kingdom looked like a different place altogether. The houses were brightly lit and glowed together in a pattern.

The capital was even better and was one of the most beautiful places Zack had seen in his life.

'I wonder how the cities in the other continents look like.' Even in his previous life, Zack had never been able to go to another continent.

He had reincarnated back from the year 2076 when he had been 25 years old. Though the knowledge he had was solid, there were a few things that he had never gotten to know in his past life.

As they neared the city, the guards immediately detected their presence. But they didn't even spare them a second glance as they flew over the city.

[ Zack, I wonder how Jonathan is a king still so nice to us. Are the bow and sword that sacred or something? ]

Despite knowing a little bit about the two weapons, Emma couldn't believe that Jonathan would almost treat them like a friend.

Usually, kings were supposed to be a bit arrogant and not allow anyone to just talk to them like casual human beings.

However, Jonathan was the complete opposite and even gifted the two of them with quests. Whether it was because of the weapons or something else, Zack didn't know.

'Since everyone can see us, we'll set you down at the entrance of the palace. Ask the guards to help you carry the bodies.' After saying that, the two eagles bent towards the ground and landed in front of the palace.

The guards there immediately rushed forward with their attacks ready to be launched but when they saw the two people jumping off the eagle's back, they just rolled their eyes and got back to their post.

'You could have made a less flashy appearance.' Zack muttered to the two eagles before he looked at the guards and realized that they were in no mood of helping the duo.

Zack was about to carry half the bodies himself before Jonathan decided to make an appearance.

"Would you gentlemen be kind enough to bring those bodies down to the prison?" The king asked as he walked out from the palace.

The guards immediately bowed down before they walked ahead and started carrying the bodies. They quickly went inside the palace as Jonathan looked at the duo with a smile.

"Well, you actually did it. Never could I have thought that two teenager-like nobles would have found such clues."

Zack and Emma felt as though they were being insulted and praised at the same time. Due to how generous Jonathan had been, they decided to take his words as praise.

"Then who will interrogate them? I can do some of that work if you want." Zack offered but Jonathan shook his head.

"You already did more than enough. Now, you have 15… now 14 days to go ahead and complete the other quest." As soon as Jonathan finished his words, midnight happened.

And with that, Zack and Emma decided to go back to their guild.

Unlike then, Lisa, Marcus, and Jack could not play all the time and were only online during the night.

The two of them were professionals and working with salaries so they just had to dedicate their lives to the game.

"So should we log out?" Emma asked while standing in front of the guild.

Since it was already midnight, the duo decided to log out and wake up in the real world.

While Emma went to sleep, Zack decided to go out and take a stroll in the pool.

"Chastiefol," Zack called out as the golden spear materialized in front of him. Looking at Chastiefol, Zack wondered whether he would be able to shift its form to daggers of sky. "Spirit Spear Chastiefol, Second Form, Daggers of Sky."

After some concentration, the hundred and fifty daggers appeared in front of him as Zack smiled.

'Guess I can change all the forms in the future then.' He then bent down towards the pool and dipped his legs in it.

He still didn't understand why he was able to summon the weapons in real life but he didn't dare to complain about it. It was because of the summoning that he had been able to save Emma.

'I wonder if other people could do this too.' There were many things that Zack wanted to test but doing it after midnight was probably not a good decision.

So instead, he decided to sleep. After all, he would be taken the ascension trial soon.
