Chapter 149 [Bonus ]Sudden Bout

Chapter 149 [Bonus ]Sudden Bout

Seth Kotwan had always been a little shy since childhood. Despite having a brilliant brain, he was known for his timid personality in his social circles.

But the world had other plans for him. During his teenage years, he ran into some trouble after hacking a highly secure government website.

The name of which was redacted from his files, although Alastair managed to pull the sealed juvenile files due to the sensitive nature of the case, the original files were destroyed.

When Samuel first read about him, It was as if he was reading about some supervillain who started early. Alastair advised him to not hire him at all, but Samuel decided to put him in the tech subsidiary.

He could become indispensable personnel in the future.

Now that his predecessor was gone, he could replace him, but they had to work on his people skills.

He also didn't graduate, so a managerial job was too much for him. Thankfully, they had a few years before the tech sector would explode.

Social media, Online marketing, Media figures, etc., everything would be online, and there would not be anything people couldn't buy from their homes.

Samuel had big plans for it and needed talented people to make that a reality.

" Seth, it's good to finally meet you. I am sorry that you have to see that." Samuel pointed toward the door from which Jason was recently dragged.

" N-no worries. Mr Rothschild, I am grateful for the opportunity, but I think I am in the wrong room." Seth tried to weasel out.

" No, you are in the right place. I expect great things from you. Marilyn will get you up to speed."

" Ah, Alright."

" We really need to work on him a lot, boss." Alastair sneaked in his remarks.

" Well, I have just the man for the job."

" Don't look at me. I have better things to do than to babysit someone."

" come on, I will give you a raise!"

" Hell no, was that too loud?"

" No, how about that muscle car you have been eyeing lately."

" W-what, I don't know what you are talking about." Alastair denied it vehemently. Marilyn went over some of the contract details while Frederick talked with others.

As always, he wanted to get to know these people to better understand their characters. There could be a hidden 'Jason' among them.

" Don't deny it; I had seen a whole car magazine stashed away in the corner of your office. It was not hard to figure out the rest."

After a few seconds of staring down between them, Alastair admitted defeat. He accepted the job to mentor Seth.

" Alright, now that everything is set, we have an important thing to set up." Samuel gathered everyone's attention.

" Seth will be responsible for the development of our tech industry. I know it is a big ask, but everyone, please advise him. Don't worry about him not catching up; I am informed that he is brilliant. Not to sell everyone else short, but I believe everyone in this room will become vital to the company's operation in the future." It was an encouraging statement which calmed down some of the fear in their heart.

After witnessing his ruthlessness, they were met with his graceful attitude, which was one eighty of what they expected.

Thus the meeting began as Samuel assigned everyone their role. He had a basic plan for everyone, including some future insight which would bear fruit in the future.

----------------------------------------------------

The next day in the morning, after freshening up, Samuel went toward the training ground as usual. He felt a familiar presence.

He found his mentor Joyah, Master Wu and Somsak surrounding someone. From the looks of it, the person appeared to be relatively short like him, probably a child too.

But he had never seen someone like that in the training grounds before. Some kids of staff trained, but those usually stayed away from this area due to fear of disrespecting Samuel or other family members.

Samuel had told them it was okay, but they would vigorously deny his advances. He walked over to them to find a chubby kid who was busy shouting at the man beside him.

" What is going on here?" Samuel asked. The kid turned toward him and pointed a finger while shouting.

" I am here to challenge you! I hope that you have not forgotten the face of your rival."

" Rival? I don't have any. Do I know you? You seem familiar somehow." Samuel said with a straight face. He was obviously bluffing but messing with kids was becoming his speciality.

" Y-you, don't lie to me! I will give you a hint, Disneyland. Do you remember now?" She was trying so hard that it was becoming funny.

" I am sorry. You must have come to the wrong house."

" Why you!"

" Master, he is playing with you." The man beside her whispered to the girl's ears. Samuel heard it, but it was getting harder and harder to hold his laughter.

" I obviously know that! Do you think I am stupid?" She shouted. The man couldn't refute it; he knew about her stubborn nature, which was the sole reason they were here.

" Samuel, you have disrespected me. Now you will pay for it." She lunged toward him, but he sidestepped, avoiding her attack.

" Wait! Aika, I was joking. wait, you are using all your power, seriously?" He kept dodging while trying to calm her down.

The man was stumped witnessing everything. First, he had to speak to Samuel's mentor separately in different languages. Now, he had a fight on his hand. He looked around with worried eyes, but others just smiled when seeing Aika going at Samuel.

It's like they were enjoying a good show. No one came forward to help, which was strange.

" You will regret messing with me. While you were running around these past few months, I have been training every day to defeat you. Today, I will show you my results." She gave a cliche response but was not even close to catching him.

History was repeating itself, but she had a hidden weapon this time. She increased her speed exponentially, covered the distance between her and Samuel, pulled out a small pouch, and threw it toward Samuel's face.

It was sudden but effective; he failed to judge her timing because she held back until this move. Samuel tried to react but whatever was inside the pouch got into his eyes, rendering his eyes useless.

" Now It's payback time." She smirked.

" That's cheating!" Master Wu exclaimed. As a noble fighter, the cheap trick was never an option for him. He tried to rush, but Joyah stopped him.

" Wait! I trust my pupil. Besides, we taught him that no fight is fair, to begin with." She said.

" I agree; it would be a good lesson for him. He needs to experience some setback." Somsak said.

The man who came with Aika was surprised.

"They were willing to see him get beaten up. Do they not understand his identity? Wait, they could speak English? What was I doing all this time then?" He thought. Now, He was more angry than worried.

Samuel didn't disappoint as Aika wanted her revenge; she stuck and decided to go for the same takedown she received from him. Over the shoulder takedown, Samuel pulled a fast one on her; he blocked her attempt by locking his foot on her stable foot. She tried, but he was stronger.

He changed gear and gave her the taste of her own medicine. After an instant takedown, she groaned from the sudden pain, marking the fight's end.

The bystanders cheered for Samuel as it was his home turf while the man rushed toward the young lady, checking up on her condition. Thankfully, both parties were mildly injured. Samuel used the towel to wash the substance while giving Aika a smug look.

" I didn't know that you liked to play dirty." His word hurt her sore spot.

" Rules don't apply in a street fight. So, don't call me a cheater!" She fought back.

" I never said anything. I merely implied, but everyone else agrees with your assessment."

She had nothing to say except grind her teeth in anger. It was the second time she was embarrassed by him. She could not take him down despite working so hard and even using questionable means.

" By the way, how do you even get in here?" He changed the subject. Any more, and she would start attacking again.

" By plane, I just asked Benjiro." She motioned toward the mystery man. The man was sweating profusely; despite his well-built physique, he looked like he would cry at any moment.

"Mr Benjiro, are you alright?" Joyah asked.

" Y-yes, I am f-fine."

" I don't see Mr Kiyama. Did you come here alone with her?" Samuel asked. Benjiro flinched hearing the name.

He jumped high in the air and went into complete prostration.

" Please, Mr Rothschild. Help me; I don't want to die."

" Hey, stand up. First, tell me what happened? I am willing to help in any way I can." Samuel was embarrassed seeing a grown man lying stretched out on the ground.

" Boss would kill me if he found out I took a young lady without his permission. But I had no other choice."
