Chapter 339 Neon Frog

Chapter 339 Neon Frog

?

A few hours later, they dressed up to meet at the hotel lobby. Samuel didn't have a car, and there was not much to be said about Sibylla, so Paige arranged one of the Hotel Rolls Royce to be their ride for tonight.

Steve and Samuel's security details were busy with the fallout of containing the gang members he encountered a few weeks ago. They had stopped being overprotective, knowing what he was capable of.

Samuel sat in the front seat, leaving the back row to the two girls. He was not thrilled about the prospect of going out tonight, but it was one of the most famous establishments in LA and his first time there.

Neon Frog, the bar with the strange name, seemed to rave these past few years. Paige also recommended it, which was always a good sign knowing she liked to party. When the three arrived at the destination, there was already a long line at the door.

"I made an appointment with your boss, my name is Paige?" Paige glided her sunglasses a little to let the bouncer see her face. Samuel and Sibylla waited beside her, ignoring the roaring party crowd at the back.

It was also strange that they went ahead and bounced the line concerning the world. But the guard greeted them kindly.

" Welcome, Miss Paige, the boss has already ordered me take care of you and your friend." Some said from inside. It seemed like he was waiting for their arrival. Paige nodded and took the other two inside with her.

"Hey, what are you doing? Isn't it no reservation bar?" Someone shouted from the crowd.

" Rich bastards! I have been waiting for thirty minutes now!"

" Fucking evil capitalists! "

There was a commotion among the people in line. As the most famous bar in Los Angeles, Neon Frog had countless customers daily; even on weekdays, the bar was packed with people.

It was all in vain; the bouncer blocked the door, and even their stare was intimidating, not to mention their colossal body that could easily knock a few people down. It was confirmed that the bar didn't make a reservation but was private property.

Popularity didn't come with money but with connections; a certain leeway was allowed when one was as famous as Paige. It was wild to think she would make a reservation; asking the owner was enough.

She could bring exponential profit only by mentioning the excellent service with her social circle, and the people would come pouring in.

"Oh, I like it," Sibylla muttered. The decor reminded one of a vintage setting, like the fusion between modern and an extreme blend of European decorations. Theoretically, it shouldn't work, but whoever designed it did an exceptional job; it was a different style.

Certainly different from most bars, even Samuel was surprised when he saw it. Not that he had an intense repertoire when it came to nightlife.

Under the leadership of the waiter, three of them came to a small deck. It could only accommodate four or five people at a time, but she was informed it was the bar's most concealed and isolated place.

" Miss, what would you like to drink?" the Bartender asked. He was specially arranged as their designated person, his skills were no joke, and he was reliable, so the boss selected him to entertain his precious guests.

"Do you have any good suggestions?" Sibylla was already a little impatient. Her childish side was already in full bloom!

"For ladies, I recommend Sydney Martini, Margarita and Cosmopolitan these are my speciality. Of course, you can also order any drink that you like. For gentleman I make a mean Godfather and Manhattan. Don't worry, our cocktails are all award-winning recommendations. The taste is not comparable to those on other establishments." The Bartender sounded confident with his suggestions.

"I want a Margarita, and give this lady a glass of Sydney Martini." Paige, who frequents, had already chosen herself and Sibylla.

"Then I will try the godfather." Well, it sounded domineering to hear the name; Samuel didn't know much about cocktails, but if it was the Bartender's speciality, he didn't mind choosing by name.

"Okay, please wait a moment." The Bartender took their orders and left the deck.

"Tsk, tsk, Paige, I can't imagine that LA had such an old bar." The Princess looked around and said with a sign after the staff left.

"You'll be more happy after trying their drinks. You said you wanted the best, I give you the best!" Paige seemed to admire the cocktails here, which raised the curiosity of Samuel and Sibylla

Before they could ask more about it, the Bartender was already there with their cocktails on the silver plate. They had to say that the presentation was top-notch; even if it tasted terrible, they could express that their eyes had already feasted on something great!

Paige Margarita drink used tequila and orange zest with some added lime juice while smearing the hilt of the cup with salt and sugar.

Sybilla's Sydney Martini was made with gin and vermouth and decorated with olives, which look very delicate at first glance.

On the other hand, the Godfather was brown as the person used a Scottish cocktail with almond liqueur and a peculiar-looking ice cube to add a sense of personal touch.

Samuel took a sip, and a strong smell immediately assaulted the back of his throat. It had a unique taste, but the first sip was refreshing. After only a few mouthfuls, he drowned the whole glass of Godfather. It also had a delicate aftertaste.

Immediately he called the Bartender and ordered three more glasses of it. Paige and the Princess were not as bold as Samuel; they sipped leisurely while minding their elegant etiquettes. Especially Sibylla, who had to go through an entire aristocratic course about being presentable at all times.

God knows she would like to forget it, but it had been drilled into her head, and habits died hard no matter how much one tried.

Drinking cocktail after cocktail, several topics about the three individuals opened up. When Sibylla asked about their relationship, it halted for a few seconds. Ultimately, all they could muster up to say was that it was complicated. After which, most of the time, the Princess talked about her country.

She kept on mentioning several cultures and how her life had been with her family. She was keen on telling them her hardships, maybe like a therapy session while one pours their heart about their problems.

Samuel and Paige quietly sipped their drinks and occasionally asked a few follow-up questions about the topic, which Sibylla was more than happy to answer. Even with her strange quirks, she grew on them as they became entirely engaged in their conversation.

They talked as the time passed quickly; two hours went by instantly. Sensing they were getting drunk and it was also late, the three of them walked out of the bar. Samuel must have drunk the small cups but was holding on quite well. He had already learned his lesson regarding alcohol abuse.

Paige and Sibylla were also acceptable and conscious, walking out of the bar. They boarded the hotel car and returned to Hydrick Hotel.

Paige opened another presidential suite for Sibylla and guided her to her room before leaving for her own room. She and Samuel had to stay and watch over her in case of any emergency. Paige also ordered the front desk to help Sibylla send a few new changes of clothes.

The following day, around noon, the staff of the Swedish embassy and the two helpless bodyguards finally arrived at the Hydrick Hotel. They looked exhausted, especially the guards that Samuel duped in London.

"Hey, I am sorry about yesterday." Samuel looked stern but apologized adequately, he was a little embarrassed, but he did cause big trouble for them. He was not wholly unaware of the severity of their job; he employed hundreds of such people!

The bodyguard's face was not pretty, but he didn't dare to get angry at him. Partly, He was fooled by an amateur person and lost his protection target, which made them look incompetent.

Secondly, they all know the identity of this young man; what could they do in other people's land? There was nothing to argue about.

Standing behind him, her Royal Highness Princess Sibylla looked soft and pitiful. It was an act, but, unfortunately, no one present would eat her lie this time, and even Samuel was beginning to get immunity from her cute puppy eyes!

"His Royal Highness, the incident that happened yesterday made the King and the Queen very worried and angry. I am very sorry to inform you that they had cancelled your plan to travel to the United States. Today we are here to take you back home! " A senior-looking person said from their side.

It looked like Sibylla was crying; Samuel didn't know if this was real or fake, but seeing her lack of effort, it was probably a genuine feeling. On the other hand, Samuel and Paige let out a sigh of relief.

He had never considered that it was probably an acceptable outcome after everything she did. Samuel might be a culprit, but he was definitely deceiving random people!

Just like that, Sibylla was reluctantly taken away by the staff and bodyguards of the embassy. Even looking at those teary eyes, Samuel didn't bat an eye. In turn, he laughed unkindly.

Sibylla's expression at this moment was like being an abandoned puppy left for dead by her owner. With a trace of resentment and unwillingness, she got dragged away. They thought it was the last time they would see, but they were wrong!
