"Let me drive in." Before she could shut the door, the man's voice rang in her ears.

Gareth had been facing forward, but because Elisa didn't move, he turned slowly and stared at her with a cold gaze. He repeated, "Let me drive in."

Elisa furrowed her brows. "Are you staying?"

"Didn't you want me not to get too tired?"

Elisa was dumbfounded.

Her brows tightened visibly. It was as though displeasure was intertwined deep in her eyes.

She hadn't wanted Gareth to send her home so he wouldn't tire. But now, this became an excuse for him to stay?

"It's fine. It's not convenient here, so it doesn't matter if you're tired for a while more."

Gareth's expression was calm. "I'm exhausted. This will affect my recovery and the results of the data from the experiment."

Elisa suddenly scoffed. "You're as strong as an ox. That won't happen."

"I said it's not convenient here." She didn't want him to stay at all.

But Gareth ignored her and followed her. Just as Elisa was about to say something else, he suddenly grabbed one of her hands and placed her fingerprint on the door lock.

The man had manipulated Elisa before she came to her senses. After that, the man pulled her into the villa.

The two stood at the living room entrance, and Gareth shut the door smoothly.

Elisa's brows suddenly tightened, and she said with astonishment, "Aren't you being too shameless?"

Gareth turned to look at her. "As compared to you?"

At the next moment, she laughed in a rage. "Yes, I pestered you back then. I was quite shameless, but I've already let you go now."
