"Come and have some food first."

Elisa was confused while Gareth explained, "It's not a good time to return yet. Let's eat first."

She did not repel Gareth as much as before anymore. In the past, she avoided him when they divorced because he abhorred her, and she was disappointed in him. She did not mind having a meal with Gareth because the original plan was to head to Wickam Manor together at night. So, it was unnecessary to stay apart for half an hour now. It would be a waste of time if Elisa went home first. She would rather eat with Gareth and follow him to the manor to be time-
