CHAPTER 1181 YOU’RE LUCKY I HAD MY EYES ON YOU

"You've done enough! Nothing left to worry about here. Both of you can go on and watch your movie. There's no need for you to wait here with me. Also, Jeremy, you can go ahead and do your work or rest at home. All of you can leave now." Julia was exceptionally excited when she said this.

Jeremy's eyes lit up. Watch a movie?

What happened when he wasn't around?

Elisa didn't say anything.

Whereas Gareth calmly replied, "Alright, no rush."

"What do you mean no rush? You can always bring it forward. Hurry up and leave!"

Elisa was rendered speechless again.

Jeremy rubbed his nose. So Grandma is making me leave so I wouldn't interrupt their special time together?

Gareth felt a bit helpless. Julia immediately said, "Leave, all of you! Your Grandpa is coming over soon. I have lots to talk about with him! Don't stay here and become our third wheel."

Jeremy couldn't hold back his smile as he said, "Okay, I'll leave now. I won't bother Grandma and Grandpa's precious time together."

Julia playfully scolded him. "You little brat! You're good at reading the room!"

Jeremy grinned and didn't say anything.

Julia's gaze fell on Gareth and Elisa. "Hurry up! Don't just stand there. Take Elisa to the movies."

Gareth didn't say a word.

He knew they couldn't stay here longer as Grandma would urge them to leave.

As for Elisa, she felt embarrassed at this moment as she wasn't used to Grandma staring at them with such adoration.

Knowing Grandma's personality and not wanting her to misunderstand them further, she stood up. "If that's the case, then we'll leave now."

"Hurry up!" Julia said while chuckling.

Elisa glanced at Gareth without saying a word and left.

Gareth also didn't say anything as he left with a slightly gloomy expression.

Jeremy followed along soon after.

Julia didn't follow them out this time to not bother them.

Jeremy couldn't hold his smile when they stepped outside and asked, "What were you two talking about just now?"

They allowed Grandma to have such a misunderstanding and even said that the two were going for a movie.

Elisa's eyes quivered, and she didn't say a word. She turned around and saw Grandma standing by the curtains, where she occasionally pulled them away to stare in their direction. Elisa immediately got into Gareth's car and sat in the passenger seat.

Gareth coldly glanced at Jeremy. "It's just an act."

He then walked towards the driver's seat.

Jeremy bit his lips. What kind of an act is this? He could've perceived it as his reality. For this matter, Gareth himself might not be sure.

In the end, Jeremy shifted his attention and went back to his car.

He had one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the gearshift. But his handphone suddenly rang as soon as he was about to leave.

His expression turned somber when he saw the unsaved number on his handphone screen.

Shortly after, he picked it up.

He didn't speak, but the noise from the surroundings of the caller could be heard immediately.

"F*cking b*tch! Do you want to die? How dare you throw a fit at my place? You're lucky I had my eyes on you. You don't know how to cater to me, yet you have the nerve to disobey me! What a shameless woman!"

"There's no point trying to talk sense into her. Let her be punished, and we'll see how she rebels! She's just a worthless b*tch! Don't tell me we can't fix her!"
