Chapter 180 - Drone
Chapter 180 - Drone
Chapter 180 - Drone
Time to kill everyone on that room and be done with this once and for all.
No, wait.
There was something wrong with that statement.
"Remember how I said we would kill everyone?" Samur reminded Neia.
?Yeah??
"I forgot to mention it before, but Lecia is exempted from that. We cannot kill her."
Would be a yikes if in the heat of their passion, they ended up killing the very person they had come to rescue.
Samur didn't want to go through such an awkward situation again.
?…I know that,? she sighed.
Was this supposed to be a joke to lift her spirits?
"Nice. We will also leave the ring leader of this whole kidnapping operation alive."
?Why??
"I told you, didn't I? We will finish this today," Samur said as he went up the stairs to the 5th floor.
?…? Neia gulped again.
But before stepping into the hallway of the 5th floor, he decided to peek and check how many people were there.
The hallway was considerably wide and at its end was a huge ass door. It probably led to where Lecia was being held captive.
Of course, since this was the kidnappers' final bastion, several guards were guarding this door.
'Hmm, how many spears would it take- wait, what the hell am I doing?' Samur suddenly stopped his calculations.
This was when he realised his mistake.
And once he realised it, he cursed himself so badly that it would make 70 year old racists grandpas look like cute puppies.
How could he have done this? How could have missed such a critical thing?
God-fucking-damnit.
He deserved to die for committing such a mistake. He decided that he would kill himself once this mission was over.
'I orchestrated this entire situation to test out my new drone, yet here I am killing my test subjects with ice spears. Fuck.'
'Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!'
After calming himself down, Samur took out the drone.
It was a simple yet small quadcoptor drone. It was actually small enough to rest on his palm.
Yet it had enough firepower to tase everyone guarding the door and knock them out while also giving them irreversible nerve damage.
'Go, my child!' Rooting for his new creation, he sent it out.
The drone entered the hallway and immediately detected the presences at the end of it. So, it flew towards the guards at a high speed.
Alas…
"Hey! What the fuck is that?!"
Samur forgot to give it cloaking function.
The guard who noticed the drone just straight up threw his sword at it.
The drone wasn't able to evade in time and was destroyed.
"…" Samur Sad Eckart.
'Damn, I sure am glad I spent all that time developing this drone and creating a situation perfect enough to test it.'
His fragile heart hurt.
He should have just developed a military UAV drone and bombed these motherfuckers out of existence as if they were Syrian infidels.
He likely would have killed Lecia along with them but that was way better when compared to having to deal with the pain of losing his prized drone.
Like, drone >>>>>>>> Lecia the wanker.
Fuck.
Samur Ultra Sad Eckart.
Should he just off himself? Like, he had nothing left to live for.
The drone he had so painstakingly created within 2 hours was destroyed as if it was a common housefly.
It was almost as if his life's work has been destroyed.
Of course, he had created trillions of such drones in his lifetime, but it didn't mean that it lessened the pain of losing one.
Well, actually, it did, but Samur loved to be a Drama Queen.
That was the only way to remind himself that he still had feelings- er, no, actually he loved to be a drama queen because it was such a fun thing to do.
It was in no way his dead heart's cry for help or any such bullshit.
?Did something happen?? Neia asked, puzzled over his sudden stop.
"Haahh…" Samur sighed deeply.
?What happened?? Neia asked, a sense of urgency in her voice.
This was the first time she had felt such sorrow in Samur's voice. It was almost as if he had lost something he valued more than his own life.
'Don't tell me... did something happen to Lecia?!'
Neia couldn't stop herself from arriving at the worst possible conclusion.
"It's… nothing," Samur replied with much difficulty.
He couldn't possibly let her know that he was sad over the loss of a drone.
?Then-?
"It's nothing. Focus on the mission."
?O-okay.?
"Remember, do not kill the leader of these kidnappers," Samur's voice was cold.
Right, all this happened because of that Mr. Kidnapper.
?B-but how would I know who's the leader??
She didn't even know what he looked like. Even if she did, she wouldn't be able to recognise him because she was currently seeing everything through the sensors on her scope.
"I'll take care of that. For now, focus on eliminating those guarding the entrance to that room. That's where Lecia is."
Or that's what the location tracking magic he had put on her told him.
Yup, the ring wasn't the only location broadcasting device. He had personally implanted a small location tracking magical formation on each of them.
And that's because he trusted them.
He knew that these wankers would fuck it up and lose the rings.
?Understood.?
"On my mark. 1, 2, 3, go," Samur stepped out of his hiding place and appeared in front of the guards.
"The intruder is here!" The guard who had shot down the drone noticed him and shouted.
This motherfucker.
"What? It's only a child?" The guard beside him exclaimed.
"Don't let your guard down," another guard reminded them. "He killed everyone on the floors below ours."
"…" Every other guard (47, to be more precise), gulped as they heard that.
"Y-you fucking monster!" One of them shouted in rage and lunged towards Samur.
"Hey, you idiot!"
Of course, before this so-called idiot could reach Samur, his head exploded in a flurry of flesh, blood and brain matter.
"Wha!?" The Guards exclaimed in stupefaction.
"…Mages, get ready!" The one who seemed to be their leader commanded. "We're going to attack him at once!"
It seemed they thought that guy's head exploded because of Samur.
Also, why would he announce his plans out loud?
What an idiot.
In response to their preparation, Samur simply casted his classic spell.
Several ice spears appeared in the air behind him.
At once glance they could see that numbered in the tens.
However, Samur didn't stop there.
His heart sucked out more mana from the surroundings and created more ice spears.
The number kept increasing exponentially.
"What the hell…" On of them muttered helplessly.
Facing them were hundreds of ice spears, each of them exuding an aura similar to a death god's scythe.
It was time to let the massacre begin.
…
Wow, that came out a bit edgy.
