Chapter 239 - Faster Than Changing One's Underwear

Chapter 239 - Faster Than Changing One's Underwear

Outside the walls of Stronghold GC-06, the main force of the Iceborn Wolf Tribe gathered behind the leading wolf-man, Chief Fenrigos, as they gazed at the foreign settlement.

With the entirety of their tribe crossing over to the new world, 150-thousand wolf-people has been gathered to this one area.

"Chief Fenrigos, I can smell the scent of our tribesmen behind these walls. The scent of Lord Bahram and the stench of blood is especially intense. If I'm not wrong, they have just finished conquering this settlement," a wolf-man reported.

"Do you think your sense of smell is superior to mine? Of course, I already know that. No need to state the obvious," Chief Fenrigos stated before he began to frown, "What is this Bahram doing, taking his time? He should have answered my call already."

Just as Chief Fenrigos grew impatient, Albion's figure appeared from atop the wall before he gazed down at them with Fenrira, Fenriri, and Fenrio.

"Chief Fenrigos, look! It's the princesses and prince!" the wolf-man pointed.

"Riri, Rira, Rio, looks like you are all here!" Chief Fenrigos called out clearly before he asked them, "Where's your Uncle Bahram? Why hasn't he answered my call yet?"

"Uncle Bahram is already dead, father!" Fenrira answered from the wall.

"What?!" Chief Fenrigos's aura immediately exploded outward before he questioned with a furious look, "Who killed my brother?!"

At the same time, Chief Fenrigos shot a look at Albion and interrogated, "Is Bahram's death related to the humans like the one beside you, Rira?!"

"Uncle Bahram was indeed killed by our master, father! However, it was done to save us and stop Uncle Bahram's rebellion! Uncle Bahram was intoxicated by the powerful blessings of this world and wanted to usurp your throne!"

"Father would not believe how powerful Uncle Bahram grew with the world's blessings! Uncle Bahram's strength had tapped into the Aura Emperor Realm!" Fenrira stated.

"Aura Emperor Realm? Master?! Who are you calling your master?! Rira, you're a princess, for god's sake!" Chief Fenrigos thundered before he roared, "Just what the hell has happened here?!"

Were his daughters messing with him?!

"If your Uncle Bahram truly reached the realm of Aura Emperor with the so-called world's blessings, then are you going to tell me that your damn master is an Aura God next?! Father does not have time for your games, Rira. Riri."

"I have 150-thousand famished tribesmen behind me who need to be settled down and fed. Go and call out your Uncle Bahram now," Chief Fenrigos stated sternly and said, "Don't think you can fool me that easily. Aura Gods are unable to remain on the mortal plane."

Chief Fenrigos did not fall for his daughter's outrageous prank.

However, the more Chief Fenrigos stubbornly refused to accept the truth of Fenrira's words, the more inwardly frustrated she felt.

Fenrira, Fenriri, and Fenrio all knitted their brows as they were stumped on how they can convince their father to believe them before making him submit to their master.

Nevertheless, Chief Fenrigos noticed their peculiar expression with his sharp sight before he narrowed his eyes.

Something was wrong with his children.

"Are you actually being threatened by that human? He is, isn't he? You can tell me the truth, and Father will save you from that human quickly," Chief Fenrigos stated.

Sometime later, Fenrira eventually gave up on persuasion with a soft sigh before turning to her master for help.

"Master, can you reveal your strength and teach my stubborn father a lesson? I think he might submit quickly once he understands the insurmountable difference in strength."

Fenriri made a suggestion before Fenrira could speak, causing her to be stunned immediately with wide eyes.

"Err, little sister. Our people indeed respect the strong, but father has always been a prideful person. So forcing him to submit with strength might produce the opposite results…" Fenrira mentioned.

However, Fenriri shook her head and said, "We are wasting Master's precious time. We need to wrap up this matter quickly. Master has already been very patient with us, sister."

"Master, please go right ahead."

"Very well."

After Albion nodded calmly, he immediately leaped off the wall and landed in front of Chief Fenrigos and his 150-thousand tribesmen.

Albion stood tall, but with the sheer height difference between the two sides, he looked like a puny human in front of Chief Fenrigos, who was half a body taller than him.

"What's this? Are you thinking of challenging me, puny human?" Chief Fenrigos questioned with a confident tone as the tribesmen cheered behind him.

"Haha, this yellow monkey does not know his place! Quickly teach him a lesson, chief!"

"Show him who's boss, chief! The Iceborn Wolf Tribe does not cower to other races!"

As the tribesmen hollered, Chief Fenrigos smiled smugly.

However, Albion snapped his fingers before the entirety of his True Immortal cultivation base surged out from his body and shot towards the sky.

In front of Albion's towering aura, the truly 'puny' role was suddenly reversed as Chief Fenrigos's expression was frozen stiff.

Chief Fenrigos's knees suddenly buckled under pressure, resulting in dropping on his knees and lowering himself to Albion's eye level before he was casually patted on the shoulder.

"Do you want to fight or submit? Take your pick. I'm not picky," Albion said casually.

"Chief Fenrigos will never submit by force! The Iceborn Wolf Tribe does not have any cowards in our ranks!"

"Just give us the order, chief! We will fight the human to the death and die proudly!"

"Yeah, chief! Just give us the order! We're not afraid!"

Despite what the tribesmen were saying, they could be seen trembling in the face of Albion's heaven-piercing pillar of spiritual energy as his hair grew long and white for the Nth time.

"So you're the one who killed my brother, Bahram?" Chief Fenrigos questioned with a stern look after he recovered.

As Albion stared back and locked gazes with each other, the intensity of the mood can be felt among the tribesmen.

However, just as they thought the chief would give the order, Chief Fenrigos suddenly brought his hands together and said with a subservient smile, "So my Lord did it to protect my daughters and son. I am so indebted to this favor that I am willing to serve the Lord for life."

"…"

The crowd was stunned speechlessly.

The chief's change in attitude was so quick that it was even faster than changing one's underwear, resulting in everyone staggering with surprise.

"What the…f*ck?" a tribesman uttered dumbly.
