Chapter 266 - Anime Convention Center
Chapter 266 - Anime Convention Center
Outside the big anime convention center entrance, Anya Seymour checked the time on her phone before searching the ongoing stream of people approaching the venue.
A few moments later, she spotted Albion in the distance before Anya Seymour quickly waved her hand and called out to him, "Albion! Over here!"
As Albion made his way over casually, Anya Seymour quickly noticed a cloaked Fenriri by his side before asking, "Who's this little girl? Why is she with you? Are you babysitting?"
"You can say that," Albion casually said before adding, "She's a follower of mine, a subordinate, you could say. Why? Is it a problem that she's with me?"
"Not at all," Anya Seymour shook her head before she noticed the two lumps on Fenriri's head and subconsciously patted them due to their height difference.
Nevertheless, the texture Anya Seymour felt through the hood quickly made her surprised before she asked, "What is this? Why do you have two lumps on your head?"
"And why do you have two lumps on your chest?" Fenriri responded with a displeased look as she felt unhappy with the way her ears were being touched under her hood.
Anya Seymour was immediately struck speechless before Albion casually said, "A wolf-girl will naturally have big ears on her head."
"A wolf-girl…? Ah, I see… But if she's cosplaying as a wolf-girl, why does she need to hide them instead of showing them?" Anya Seymour asked with surprise.
At the same time, Albion glanced back at Anya Seymour weirdly before he said, "She's a real wolf-girl."
"A real wolf-girl? How can that be? That would mean that she came from that otherworldly tribe on the Glacia continent," Anya Seymour said amusedly as if Albion was joking with her.
However, Albion and Fenriri glanced at her with an expression that says, 'And what about it?'
"It's true?" Anya Seymour asked with a stunned look.
Albion noticed that Anya Seymour did not seem aware of his identity even though it was revealed during the banquet. But then again, he did not remember seeing her at the banquet.
What was she doing?
Albion rubbed his chin thoughtfully before he shrugged nonchalantly and said, "It's up to you, whether you want to believe it or not."
"Che, I knew you joking," Anya Seymour clicked her tongue and said, "Why would there be a real wolf-girl at an anime convention?"
"Anyway, you can call me Big Sister Anya," Anya Seymour shortly said to Fenriri in a friendly manner before asking, "How should I address you?"
"Fenriri," Fenriri spat.
"Fenriri, huh? That's an unusual name—"
Anya Seymour casually commented when the people behind her suddenly urged them, "Oi, hurry up! There are still people waiting to enter the venue, you know?!"
"Ah, sorry about that!" Anya Seymour quickly apologized.
Shortly after Anya Seymour paid the entrance fee for all three of them, they quickly entered the anime convention center.
"Hello, friends. Would you all like a brochure detailing the map, merchandise, and events of today?" A person in a cat costume quickly offered while holding onto a stack of similar brochures.
"We'll take one, thanks," Albion accepted.
The cat person quickly handed the brochure over and offered free candy to Fenriri with some friendly words before Albion's group left the person and continued on their way.
Sometime later, Fenriri popped the candy in her mouth happily before glancing back and said, "That lady was very nice."
"That wasn't a she."
"That wasn't a she."
Albion and Anya Seymour stated simultaneously, causing Fenriri to be stunned for a moment before a look of wonder dawned on her face.
"Is this what you call a trap, Master?" Fenriri sought Albion for answers.
"Precisely," Albion nodded and said, "Reminder, they are dangerous existence that must be avoided in the future."
"Understood, Master," Fenriri complied seriously.
Nevertheless, Anya Seymour glanced at the two weirdly before she commented, "I know this is an anime convention and all, but do you two need to role-play as well? Why does Fenriri keep calling you Master?"
"Because I am her Master," Albion answered honestly.
However, it only made Anya Seymour rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever. I really don't get the characters of you two. One is a mysterious wolf-girl, and the other is some weird bear-ravaged survivor."
It was then that Albion recalled he had not changed out of his ruined clothes.
Not a single wolf-person brought the matter up when he returned to the Glacia continent, most likely because no one wanted to sound disrespectful to him.
On the other hand, Anya Seymour did not say anything about his clothes until now either, simply because she thought he was cosplaying like everyone else.
Albion smiled wryly before opening up the brochure and said, "Let us see what the anime convention has going on."
"I already know what I came for, so I'll head off first. If you need me, you can just give me a call," Anya Seymour stated before Albion nodded.
"Alright."
Shortly after, Albion looked through the brochure before realizing he did not know much about the current world's trending anime except for Hitman Reborn.
Nevertheless, an anime with wolf-girls would be a good choice for Fenriri to start and learn about their culture, Albion thought.
"Master, there's a lot of people weirdly dressed around."
Fenriri casually commented while glancing around with a curious look, causing nearby people to immediately pause their steps and look back at her with knitted expressions.
Albion smiled wryly, "They are cosplaying their favorite char—"
"Excuse me," a chubby young man in a fake military uniform suddenly stopped in front of Albion before asking with a friendly smile, "Do you happen to be cosplaying Kazuma Ishio, the main character of Survival in Lost Paradise?"
"I don't even know who the f*ck that is, mate," Albion responded before shooing the person with a hand gesture, "Now, go. Don't talk to me if I don't know you."
"Haiz, and here I thought I found a kindred soul with similar taste in anime, to whom I could become friends with," the young man sighed before walking off despondently to find others like him.
