Chapter 306 - Ridiculous Title
Chapter 306 - Ridiculous Title
"It's great that you're here, Lord Albion. I wasn't sure how much longer we could hold the soldiers from barging in and taking Little Fenriri away by force," Princess Floria spoke.
The burden weighing down on her lightened after seeing Albion, but it did not completely disappear.
Other responsibilities still weighed her down.
"And I thank you for that, Princess Floria." Albion nodded before mentioning, "I suppose this was under the king's orders. Well, we won't be staying much longer. After I deal with Empress Una, we will leave right after."
Princess Floria was surprised before she pleaded, "I know it was under my father's orders, but it is all due to Empress Una's manipulation. I hope you can spare my father and refrain from killing too many of my tribesmen."
"Since you have taken great care of Fenriri, and nothing happened to her, I will naturally spare the innocent. No need to treat me like some cold-blooded murderer," Albion nonchalantly said.
'But you're not just like one. You are one…' Princess Floria quietly thought.
And even if the Dark Lord wasn't a cold-blooded murderer, he was still a person of mass destruction.
After all, more than half their Sacred Tree had been charred by the Heavenly Tribulation due to his presence.
In fact, this was not something Albion could control if he could read the first princess's thoughts.
The Dark Emperor had done too many evil deeds and accumulated sins before passing the bad luck onto him.
He didn't choose to be a menace. It chose him.
Nevertheless, Princess Floria's thoughts only lasted a split second before she recalled his previous words.
"Lord Albion will be leaving right after dealing with Empress Una? Won't you stay for a few more days?" Princess Floria showed her surprise.
She was not prepared to bid farewell to the tribe and follow Albion with the other Spirit Chefs so soon.
"No, I can't. I have other things to do. After all, I'm a busy man, whether I like it or not," Albion shrugged helplessly before adding, "Not like the elves welcome me here."
"Well, I cannot deny that," Princess Floria smiled wryly before saying, "Alas, my Spirit Chefs and I are not ready to follow you so soon. I have yet to inform them of our agreement."
Albion stared at the first princess for a moment.
After contemplating for a bit, he replied, "I won't be needing the skills of Spirit Chefs immediately, so you can stay in the tribe and get that sorted. Either way, I will still be leaving, with or without you."
"However, when I require your skills, I will send someone over to pick you up. You cannot refuse when that time comes," Albion calmly added.
"I can't promise when that time will be, but I expect everyone would be ready to leave within sorted within a week. So get everything sorted before then. Also, if anyone else wishes to join under my banner, they may follow you at that time."
"Understood, Lord Albion. I will spread the word," Princess Floria accepted the task solemnly.
Although the Dark Lord spoke like he had already completed her request to remove Empress Una, she did not doubt that he would succeed.
Such is what it means to be a True Immortal.
They are like gods on earth. No one can resist their power and authority.
"In the future, you can call me Boss. It's also doesn't hurt to start practicing now."
"Understood, Boss."
Albion nodded before turning his attention to Fenriri and patting her on the head, "Stay here obediently for a bit longer. I will be back shortly. Then we can return."
"Yes, Master. Fenriri will be obedient," Fenriri gave a cute salute.
However, he noticed her eyes were not in the right place. She did not look up at him in the eyes but something else around her eye level.
It didn't take long before Princess Floria's hands quickly covered her eyes.
"Anyway, since Boss is leaving, may I offer a piece of advice? Would you please wear something and cover yourself up?" Princess Floria reminded.
She had stayed silent because their talk was serious, but she could no longer put up with the Dark Lord's exhibitionist tendency.
In that instance, Albion's face froze.
It was at that moment that he recalled his clothes were thoroughly destroyed in the Heavenly Tribulation.
'F*ck!'
Albion inwardly cussed.
He had been flying and walking around naked this entire time!
Swish—!
In an instance, Albion withdrew black clothes from the Ashura Ring and wore them in a flash before disappearing from the building.
He had completely lost all his face.
Ding!
<You have acquired a new title>
<Title acquired: Clothes? What's That? I Only Need My Birthday-Suit!>
As if to rub salt in Albion's wounds, the system awarded him a title for exhibitionism after words of his deed began to spread.
'F*ck! The titles these days are getting more and more ridiculous! Take it away! I don't need it!" Albion roared in his mind.
Alas, Goldfinger remained silent.
Albion could only continue to live with this stain for the rest of his life.
The fault definitely lies in the incompatibility of his body and soul. Yes, it had to be. Otherwise, how could he not have realized he was naked?!
Albion pinched between his brows with distress.
'Dammit. I was wondering why it still felt breezy after exiting the True Immortal Realm. So that was why!'
His mind had been too preoccupied to have taken notice.
'Sh*t, I was planning to leave soon anyway, but I don't want to stay here for another moment longer,' Albion grumbled.
'How dare you shamed this Emperor!'
Albion seemingly heard the Dark Emperor's voice again. It was as if the dead person was suffering from second-hand embarrassment.
He closed his eyes and pinched between his brows again to relax his taut nerves before his eyes snapped open again with a crimson glow.
The entire layout of the Elvaraden Palace was immediately laid bare to Albion's Eyes of Ashura.
Nothing could be hidden from his special pair of eyes.
'I'll just deal with Empress Una quickly and get out of here!' Albion determined as his eyes locked onto his target.
