Chapter 656 - Roaring Across the Horizon

Chapter 656: Roaring Across the Horizon

He did not make a move earlier because he was simply waiting for the big fish to appear!

With Stick Nation’s hackers fully dispatched, it was time for him to take action. Those hackers were so unruly that Ye Lingchen was never going to let things slide so easily. Therefore, he had to grasp that opportunity and fight back!

Tap, tap, tap, tap!

Ye Lingchen casually pressed several keys on the keyboard.

Having watched the battle all along, he already had his sights set on a couple of special IPs, of which their location was particularly important. If they were brave enough to hack Wanrong’s website, then they must endure Ye Lingchen’s counterattack as revenge! Ye Lingchen was certainly not going to go easy to the other party.

The first thing for him to do was probe around.

He entered a command, but no one responded.

Not one to be discouraged, Ye Lingchen continued testing the waters. He input several tentative commands one after another. They were not at all conspicuous and were instead disguised and deceptive. He could act as an intermediary as long as he passed through the defense, thus allowing him to implement his plan as he pleased.

His speed was insanely fast and the instructions were densely packed. However, all of them returned without making any progress.

Nevertheless, it did not take long before Ye Lingchen cracked a smile. The matter...had been accomplished!

In fact, he had a simpler and cruder method, though he was not prepared to use that because he wanted to deliver a fatal blow in addition to fighting back!

Those instructions were just a cover and could be construed as an enemy within their ranks. Ye Lingchen packaged them well, but even so, he waited for several minutes before merging into the opponent’s team.

Ye Lingchen continued to input instructions without fear. He neither hid nor retreated, and used the instruction he had mixed in to quickly issue tasks. As soon as he was on the brink of being discovered, he would then delete the instruction.

No alarm!

The firewall had missed its target!

It was only then that Ye Lingchen could be said to have made a secret entrance surreptitiously. Then, he started an internal search and began inducing data!

Soon, he managed to obtain some important data through deception!

Taking advantage of the crisis was easiest during that time of chaos. Most of the time, machines were machines and they accepted instructions blindly without having a thought of their own. All he needed was to utilize some loopholes to hide and achieve his goals.

Hehe, everything was going well. The next step was to obtain permission to manipulate the data and wrest away the administrative authority. The term for it was usurping control, and the slightest mistake will trigger a huge counterattack. Ye Lingchen entered carefully before quickly sending out a barrage of commands.

He remained undetected!

Despite giving the impression that nothing changed on the surface, the fact was that its underlying authority had changed and his exterior was only a disguise. Though it appeared as though Ye Lingchen was instigating attacks, it was actually helping Ye Lingchen complete tasks. With a single command, it could then lay out a path for Ye Lingchen.

All the preparations were in order!

He began getting right down to business!

His fingers assailed the keyboard quickly.

Ouyang Qing and the others were struggling to hold off the attacks. They had reached the end of the road, and Wanrong Technology’s defenses were about to be bulldozed at any moment. That very moment, however, they noticed Ye Lingchen’s movements.

“Chairman Ye, you...” Little Li looked at Ye Lingchen in surprise.

“Right, I’m going to start now. Watch closely,” Ye Lingchen smiled faintly.

Then, Little Li’s expression changed all of a sudden, “Fudge! I’ve been kicked out of the battlefield!”

“I was kicked too!”

“Me too!”

“Damn, what’s going on? A master!”

A chorus of horrified voices soon erupted in quick succession from the mouths of Wanrong Technology’s employees.

Slap! Ouyang Qing struck the keyboard angrily and her voice was hoarse. “I was kicked out too...”

“I was the one who kicked you all out,” Ye Lingchen said indifferently. “I can’t be bothered to differentiate enemies from allies, so I kicked everyone out. But don’t you worry, everyone, I’ll avenge you all!”

“I’ll be damned. Are you really that awesome, Chairman Ye?”

Little Li looked at Ye Lingchen before wiping off the cold sweat on his forehead. “Thank God it was just a false alarm.”

At the same time, all of them stood up, surrounded Ye Lingchen, and began quietly watching him perform.

It did not take long for them to be left in a daze.

Ye Lingchen typed faster than all of them, and it was by no means a slight difference in speed!

They could clearly see Ye Lingchen’s fingers ‘flying’ across the keyboard, though they were unable to see exactly what he was typing!

“Damn, can this keyboard even take that?” Little Li expressed some concern.

Hao Yun and Dong Miaomiao covered their mouths unwittingly. Although they did not know what was going on, it looked strikingly formidable.

Ouyang Qing squinted and smiled too.

Ye Lingchen did not have the luxury of paying attention to them. He did not even blink as he typed out a string of commands and instructions, constantly maintaining a cold face.

In his heart, an exclusive BGM would have served as a perfect backdrop. “He’s here, he’s here, he’s coming here with a gift...”

Yes!

He made contact with the big fish!

...

The other side.

The Stick Nation’s hackers were deeply focused on the attack and China’s hackers did not show any signs of letting up either. A fight would ensue whenever the two sides met, causing a bloody storm on the internet.

Two of Hearts, “Muahahaha, they can’t hold it anymore!”

King of Spades, “They’re all doing their best, but their experts are far from being on our level. We’ll drag them to death!”

“Yes! I’ve compromised another website. Chinese hackers are going down, lalala...”

The night was dark, and hackers all around China were sitting in front of the computers with reddened eyes.

“Bloody hell! This bunch of bastardly dogs. I’ll fight them even if it means staying up all night!”

“Honey, make me a cup of coffee!”

“If I don’t reclaim our dignity, I won’t be able to sleep the entire night!”

“Let’s fight for our dignity and glory! I would rather die than surrender!”

Fighting cheers were heard everywhere, but an increasing number of websites have been compromised, and the situation became more and more unfavorable. Unlike before, many of those hacked websites could no longer be recovered in just a few minutes!

Five!

Ten!

Twenty!

A significant proportion of the internet was down! It was simply a disaster!

“F*ck, why haven’t any of the experts come out to help!”

“Could it be possible that a country as big as ours doesn’t even have a powerful hacker?”

“Master hackers, where are you! We need support!”

The internet police were also furious. “The Stick Nation’s hackers are too brutal!”

“Huh? Why did Wanrong Technology’s defense suddenly disappear?”

“Where are those people? Did they quit? Did they choose to give up?”

“Little King and Big King infiltrated successfully.”

Hackers from all over the world were puzzled and clueless as to what happened.

Little King and Big King smiled too. The Chinese should have given up long ago. With the two individuals joining forces, was there any network defense that they could not breakthrough?

However, they were already on the cusp of entering the main server when all their commands were locked and it was difficult for them to advance any further. Soon, a powerful network prompt suddenly rose from the violent depths, attacking the both of them and leaving them no choice but to retreat!

“F*cking hell. What is this?!”
