I Became a Crazy Swordsmanship Instructor in the Game

Chapter 45:

“Before we proceed, let me make it clear: if any of you four students have even an ounce of remorse and willingness to change, step back and give some space to those who don’t.”

Hailey had never been fond of Philip.

Even before reaching adulthood, he had received a rigorous and strict etiquette education, meant to prepare him as the rightful successor of a prestigious lineage. Yet, he had thrown away his responsibilities, indulging in a reckless life of revelry, and abandoned his noble upbringing.

But now, it had been a few months into the new semester.

The Philip observed by Hailey seemed somewhat different from the rumors. He treated his students with kindness and gentleness, and never showed a hint of anger.

Moreover, after hearing about the recent incident during the Magic Department’s training, Hailey had started to admire Philip.

Vampires were incredibly powerful creatures, and protecting two students from such a demon was no small feat.

This, in turn, proved that Philip possessed skills almost on par with a professor.

“Uh, Instructor, I believe you are the new first-year instructor. Wouldn’t it be best to avoid any actions you might regret?” Bleuhan stammered, trying to gather himself. He thought he could stand up to an instructor.

By the time students reached the fourth year, there were usually a few who were stronger than the instructors, and Bleuhan Eloy was one of them.

Other fourth-year students, excluding Bleuhan, nervously exchanged glances. They seemed to know who Philip was.

‘The West is far, and the Center is near. I can’t afford to offend someone like Phillip.’

‘He even faced a vampire and survived… No matter how strong Bleuhan is, he can’t possibly win.’

‘He’s really handsome. I wonder if he has a girlfriend.’

Each student had different thoughts, but after sharing knowing glances, they all stepped back as if silently agreeing.

“What are you all doing?”

Bleuhan sneered and raised his head.

“Are you afraid of offending the instructor and betraying me? Just watch and see.”

Philip, who had been quietly observing, sighed and muttered.

“You must be over eighteen by now, but judging by your actions, it seems you don’t listen to your parents’ advice, let alone mine.”

Upon hearing the murmur, Bleuhan frowned.

“You’ve crossed the line now, Instructor. You insulted my family, didn’t you?”

Philip didn’t respond but approached Bleuhan slowly. With an unsheathed sword in hand, Bleuhan Eloy widened his stance, trying to find an opening in Philip’s defense.

Without any hesitation, he intended to attack the Instructor.

Philip remained resolute.

“You need a stern scolding, Bleuhan Eloy.”

With those words, he struck the ground without any warning.

Bleuhan squinted his eyes. The distance between him and Phillip was a mere two steps.

“I could’ve thrown a punch or two. He’s not even a professor, how dare he come at me unarmed?”

As the son of a western count, he couldn’t be the one to attack an Instructor first. However, if he were to be attacked first, the situation would be different.

In that case, he believed he could use his family’s honor to find a way out.

But at that moment, Bleuhan’s thoughts took a complete turn.

Phillip’s stance was extraordinary.

While most people swing their fists by moving their bodies significantly to deliver more force, Phillip was different.

In an instant, his fist had already reached near Bleuhan’s jaw.

“Huh?”

Bleuhan felt a shocking impact, causing his legs to weaken. Instinctively, he raised his aura to protect himself, avoiding an imminent knockout.

As a trained warrior, Bleuhan quickly regained his composure and prepared to retaliate, but Phillip’s assault was not over yet.

With precision, Phillip’s sharp punches targeted Bleuhan’s liver, solar plexus, spleen, and jaw, coming down like a relentless downpour.

Hailey was captivated by Phillip’s movements.

Though he didn’t understand the specifics of his techniques, he could sense that it was some form of highly developed martial art.

His movements were rational and efficient, with almost no discernible difference between feints and genuine strikes.

“Wow…”

Caught up in the moment, Hailey couldn’t help but forget his noble demeanor and let out an involuntary exclamation of admiration.

“Hailey! Are you okay?”

At that moment, Lua, Olivia, and Anise appeared with Lisriel. They witnessed Bleuhan being pummeled by Phillip, and resembled a punching bag.

Lisriel pondered. ‘Wouldn’t someone die from getting hit like that?’

Bleuhan’s body barely touched the ground. He would fly in the direction of Phillip’s punch but get knocked back by the next blow.

Of course, Phillip was being mindful. He didn’t use his full strength and refrained from causing severe injuries. Still, Bleuhan would undoubtedly experience intense pain.

“I feel so relieved now.”

After releasing his pent-up stress, Phillip cracked his knuckles and took a deep breath.

“Take him away. He’s your friend, right? I didn’t hit him too hard, so he’ll recover in a few days.”

“Yes… Yes!”

In Philip’s account, the fourth-grade students moved with remarkable speed. Witnessing Bleuhan, who once ruled like a king in the fourth grade, reduced to such a state, no one could be found moving slowly.

“Help! Help!”

Despite Bleuhan’s desperate screams, he was ultimately dragged away, as if destined to disappear.

Philip’s gaze shifted to Hailey. The boy stared at Philip with a look of sheer wonder, as though he had just experienced a miraculous event, but then suddenly snapped back to reality.

“I’m bleeding. I’m Hailey Baroun. First, let me tend to my wounds, and then I’ll explain what happened to you.”

“If that’s the case, we can provide an explanation, Instructor!”

Olivia stepped forward and exclaimed. It was then that Philip finally noticed the presence of the woman and the three girls.

“… Why are you all here?”

“Well, you see…”

After listening to the entire situation, Philip nodded, aware of the strained relationship between the Baroun and Eloy family.

Lua and her friends had intervened in the feud between the two families.

“But why were you fighting against five people?”

When Philip inquired, Hailey responded promptly.

“That’s how the Eloy family operates. Initially, it was just him alone, but after I defeated him a few times, he started bringing his gang with him to challenge me. Annoyed, I suggested they all come at once, and things naturally escalated.”

For some reason, Hailey’s demeanor remained highly courteous. Philip couldn’t help but smile.

‘Indeed, supporting characters are quite different from the protagonist.’

The original Hailey Baroun could have been a companion character. He was known for his loyalty and nobility, earning him popularity among female users.

However, his morality parameter was too high, so if a player had taken an item belonging to the protagonist while wandering around the academy, he couldn’t be accepted as a companion, making him a difficult character to obtain.

“Regardless, you did nothing wrong. Well done.”

Philip commended Hailey in that manner.

Lisriel approached Philip and whispered softly.

“… Considering he’s from the Eloy family, which is part of the Western region, is it acceptable to leave his son half-dead like that? I know a bit about that family; they’re not the type to let things slide. You know their motto, right? ‘Forget the favors tomorrow, but never forget the enemies until death.’ They can be quite ruthless.”

While it was satisfying to witness, she also worried about Philip.

“That’s something my older sister will handle.”

“You mean Felicia?”

“Yes.”

“Of course. So there’s no need to worry. Besides, since things have turned out this way, why not enjoy some quality time with the kids by having a bath at the mansion? You’ll understand why I wanted to build a swimming pool.”

After saying that, Phillip returned to the mansion, accompanied by Hailey and the other children.

The following day, Phillip sought out Felicia to update her on the events of the previous day.

Surprisingly, instead of getting angry, Felicia praised Phillip for his actions.

“Well done, Phillip. If you had acted differently, there could have been consequences. It seems that Bleuhan Eloy wasn’t seriously hurt.”

“… You think I did the right thing?”

Phillip asked incredulously, and Felicia nodded with confidence.

“The student defied the instructor’s legitimate orders and got into trouble. There’s no reason to blame you for disciplining him. I’ll take care of this matter, so you don’t have to worry. Bleuhan Eloy won’t cause any trouble.”

Felicia genuinely seemed to believe in Phillip’s decision. He simply nodded in response.

“Thank you, sister.”

He already knew how Felicia would handle the Eloy family.

Originally, the Eloy family was nothing more than a group of villains. Throughout the original story, they had several encounters with the Eloy family, and with Felicia’s support, the situations were always resolved easily.

“… The Oswald family knows the weaknesses of the Eloy family in the western changeling.”

And those weaknesses were quite distasteful and vile.

What concerned Phillip was whether Felicia’s fondness for him had waned a bit due to the recent events.

Now, it seemed there was no need to worry. Felicia genuinely believed that Phillip had done the right thing.

Later that afternoon, after classes were over, Phillip received a meeting request from Hailey Baroun.

Phillip promptly accepted, and when Hailey arrived at the student council room, he knelt down with determination.

“I want to learn the martial arts you showed me back then. Please teach me. I will be your devoted disciple for life.”

It was evident that the encounter with Bleuhan Eloy had deeply impacted Hailey.

“Um, about that…”

Phillip wore an awkward expression and massaged his temples. He hadn’t given much thought to whether it was appropriate for a fantasy world’s inspector to teach boxing.

“For now, let’s discuss this later. Go back for today. I’ll ponder it further and let you know.”

“Please consider it positively.”

With a polite bow, Hailey Baroun left the student council room.
