Chapter 114 - Arriving In Azmar
Chapter 114 - Arriving In Azmar
Without any means, Ellena learned that scaring people would make them obedient. And as she doesn't want to be complacent, she threw another word.
"If you dare, you'll die. I have cast a curse on you, so if you dare to spill it, think about dying for me. Okay?" Then she left them at the back of the carriage. Tying the end of it to the back of the carriage.
Aaron came to Ellena's side.
"We still have three days to Azmar. Do you think that they won't try to escape?" Aaron asked.
'They won't. But I know that not all of them will listen to me, so if one tries, I'll just kill him to show an example.' Ellena answered with a mysterious smile.
"You're getting more wicked. But I like it. You're not being too soft on your enemies." Aaron commented and rested on her shoulder.
When Aaron rested on her, Ellena remembered the wish she made and the task in exchange for it. She must not also tell Aaron that she has a task to do. Nevertheless, she didn't make it obvious.
"Big Sister, what did you just do there? You suddenly released some lightning and your hair… it was black." Thalia's words were hesitant.
"Well, you can say that I am a cursed child." Ellena nonchalantly replied, sitting down inside the carriage.
"However, cursed child...They don't have grandiose abilities such as magic…"
"I know. And I am special, so don't worry. It's our little secret, Thalia."
"Yes, Big Sister, I won't tell anything about what you are."
Ellena smiled and patted her. "Good. Let's go."
Thalia nodded and whipped the horse slightly.
"Hyah!"

It was like a static scene. They continued venturing to Azmar and within three days, they reached the city.
However, during that journey, someone tried to escape and as Aaron noticed it, Ellena noticed it too and just handled the escapee.
She shocked the bandit to death and threatened all of them again. With her creepy smile, she just left them quivering in fear.
They're too outclassed by Ellena. At first, they didn't believe that she was a female, but after realizing that they were just mediocre bandits who had just started in this dirty job, they quickly became dispirited.
As Ellena's carriage finally arrived in Azmar City, she already removed her disguise and showed her special identification to the guards in the city. There, she surrendered the bandits and left them without letting them see her face.
And as they continued to get into the city, a nostalgic feeling struck her, soothing her within, as if she were lying down in her first soft bed.
"I'm back," she mumbled, and a smile hinted at her face.

First and foremost, we didn't rent a cheap inn. Why? It's because we wanted peace of mind and the only thing to do was to buy a service coming from a 'hotel'. It was the same luxurious inn that Amber rented in the past.
As nostalgic as it is, Ellena just led the way to the receptionist.
The interior was just like a hotel with a wide reception desk and a waiting area in some areas. There is also a grand staircase on the left side of the building, going up to the second floor.
"Welcome to Heaven's Rest Spot." The receptionist greeted them, making me scoff like a fool.
This world really likes cringey names as their business names, huh? Why though? It's funny to me.
When Ellena noticed that I laughed at the receptionist, she just glared at me for a short time and smiled at the receptionist.
"Thanks. I would like to rent a room for 1 week." Ellena said to the receptionist.
"What room would you prefer, a luxury suite or an exclusive suite?"
"What's the difference?"
"Luxury suite was our regular room, but regular is an understatement as our rooms are wide as 25 square meters. It also has the great ambiance that is known in the city. However, the exclusive suites have the best environment. It is as wide as 35 square meters and has the safest security of all. In case of an emergency, you are considered the VIP to be secured."
"I see. But I don't need grandiose things. Just the regular, how much for a night?"
"2 golds."
That's… expensive. But it is not that important. We have plenty of money from selling a bunch of B-rank monsters' materials. Ellena's pocket already rocketed to 500 gold coins?
"Here." Ellena handed over 14 chunks of gold coins.
"Big Sister, do we really have to stay in this place? I don't mean to offend you, but it's expensive. Maybe we can't afford it here." Thalia, worriedly saying
Ellena just smiled and caressed her hair.
"Don't worry, I am not just some child of a noble, I am also an adventurer, so that amount of money can be recovered at any time."
Indeed. Well said, Ellena. You're simply implying that money is not a problem.
"If you say so." Thalia surrendered.
"Can I see your identification card, please? It is for identification purposes." the receptionist said to Ellena.
"Oh. I don't mind. This girl doesn't have one since she's my slave, but I want you to not treat her as one if ever I am not here." Ellena reminded her and gave her identification.
"You are from the Lumber Family?!" The receptionist was surprised after seeing the gold linings and the crest of the family. "Thank you very much for choosing us!"
"Pay no heed. Our room?"
"Here, esteemed guests."
Ellena took the key and headed to the room number that was written on the plank of the key. After arriving there, she immediately dived into a soft bouncy bed.

It was afternoon when Ellena woke up. Thalia was just sitting in a chair, watching Ellena.
It was like a boring day that I couldn't think of anything better to do right now, but Ellena had. Her energy was finally regained to the fullest. She stood up and dragged Thalia out of the room.
"Where are we going, Big Sister?" Thalia asked.
"We're going to the orphanage. I wanted to check on my friend there."
"You have a friend here?"
"Yup! And she's amazing.. Let's go."
