I Became A System

Chapter 173 - We Are Weak

Chapter 173 - We Are Weak

"What have you done to me?" Ildran cried as he coughed up blood, clenching his fists on his chest, enduring unbearable pain.

He seems to be unable to gather his strength; even the slightest dark element couldn't be conjured. There's no way for him to escape right now.

"Big Sister gave me a purpose, and that was the reason I was able to use my ability," Thalia said as her temperature was starting to get back to normal.

"What did you do?!" A dreadful voice came from Ildran, trying to get up to his feet.

Ellena who was below the cliff witnessed the scene Thalia made. She didn't believe that it worked, even made Ildran back into the corners.

Because of it, a smile hinted at her lips. She stood up and jumped upwards, going on top of the cliff.

"Light!" Ellena called her sword and a few seconds later, a fast sword came flying towards her.

Ellena looked at Thalia and smiled once again as she put her sword to Ildran's neck.

"As she said, you are already dead."

Then a spark of lightning emerged, as well as the sword, which lit up with shining colors before dissipating Ildran's head from the body.

Boom!

In an instant, the head of Ildran disappeared, turned into bits as Ellena also felt the fatigue coming to her body.

It was tremendous stamina and control she put there to turn Ildran's head into pieces. To be sure, she can't let a chance disappear.

"Big Sister... I'm sorry that I let myself get caught."

Ellena heard Thalia's worries and looked at her with dispirited eyes, then lowered her stance to level with Thalia's.

"What's important is you're safe."

"Yes... Also, I can use my ability now!"

"That's amazing. Thank you for helping me as well, Thalia."

Aaron just sighed as soon as he realized that the tide had turned to their side. He was concerned that Ildran might succeed in killing Ellena, but it turned out that even formidable foes had weaknesses.

Because of this, Aaron learned that demons had specialties and only one ability to spread potential. Since Ildran's dark element basically means darkness, it gave him the ability to travel through shadows.

Aaron just smiled and ordered Cules to follow them up the cliff.

"Let's go. You all need to rest." Aaron said.

Thalia rested on Cules's back, and they all returned to the city, despite their condition. The guards were just speechless and staggered and didn't know how to react to such a scene.

Everyone was surprised, also terrified that they didn't know it happened last night. A finger of a Sin just attacked her for an unknown reason. All of them were clueless about how to evade another one in the future.

They also investigated the guild master and it turns out that the guild master was already dead in the first place. One day, on a high-ranking mission, they almost failed, but miraculously, the guild master came back alive.

However, his attitude and personality changed, which gave Aaron an idea that the guild master might have been used as a host for a demon.

Even if they don't know how it happened, it is still a sign that everything is starting to be threatening. The danger that will come in the future is near, and because of it, Aaron can't wait to hasten Ellena's growth.

It was only half a year after Ellena activated Aaron. And because of it, it wasn't something to be complacent as the pace of Ellena's growth was slow. Slow enough that if Ellena just activated it since her 10th birthday, at the present, she'd have been a great figure in the world.

"Such a thing happened last night. Yet we all were useless and couldn't even assist you, Master." Rosellete gritted her teeth as she said that, feeling contempt towards herself.

"It's okay. In fact, it was an eye-opener for me. I should keep on training and grow stronger to not let that happen again."

All of them were silent, just looking at the ground as Ellena's words made them feel useless. It wasn't the intention, but they felt that they were weak, weak enough that they couldn't even have a chance to stand beside Ellena.

"We are really weak, Ellena," Selena said, with a slightly depressed tone in her voice.

"Forget about it. It's all settled. We will now focus on changing locations. Prepare your things, I've bought a place for us to stay."

"A place? You mean hideout, Master?"

"Headquarters, actually. I want to create an organization of fighters as my plans to become a figure have changed. I will flip the entire society without catching their eyes in the beginning. In that way, we can save greater threats before us."

Ellena's words were full of determination. And just as they all heard it, they couldn't help but feel more admiration towards Ellena.

"This place is huge!"

"Right! This is my dream place to work!"

"No way you want to be a maid, Rebecca?"

Everyone was overjoyed when they moved into the new property, and eventually, as soon as they stepped onto the premises, they explored the entire area.

When they finally finished moving around the premises, they prepared the respective rooms. The bed rooms, kitchen, rest rooms, waiting room and others.

Ellena apparently had her own room on the ground floor. It was wide, approximately the same as Yskaen's office. Her bedroom was on the second floor of the house, which was also the widest room.

"This makes me feel suck. Why do I need to occupy such a large room? I don't want it."

"No, Master! Please have the widest room!"

And so on, Ellena eventually surendered and used the widest room as hers.

The next day, just before Ellena made another plan for future activities, she thought of giving the girls training.

"That's right. Have you forgotten about the Morning Flower request of the Wester Family?" Aaron asked.

"Of course not. I will surely bring it to them. I still have 5 months prior to the date."

"But isn't it better to get it sooner? We still have many plans. Sooner or later, we will leave Phlabian to spread your reputation. Also, the organization will be one of the prominent foundations of your repuation." Aaron said.

"I know. That's why we will hasten things. Let's look for a breathing technique, and if we can't, let's still continue. I want to have more stamina and the girls too."

"I get what you mean. You want me to gift them too? It will get us 36 days. Even though I already gifted the three, it won't be enough for the organization." Aaron said with his voice filled with informative intention.

"Okay. I'll make a test to have the strongest of them. They are still young, they still have potential." Ellena said, clenching her fist on her chest level.

"You sound like you are older than they are. Did you forget that you are still 17?"

"Tsk!"
