Chapter 87 Leandro Meets The Leader Of The Cassano Family

?

Arlan's parents felt like they were in a dream when they heard his words. Their son was actually the owner of Pegasus Hotel, the most famous building in their country!

"Son, you're not joking with us, right?" Arlan's father couldn't believe his ears.

Arlan smiled and shook his head. "It's quite difficult to explain everything. Mom, Dad... please believe me."

"You didn't do anything illegal to obtain all your wealth, right?" Arlan's mother stared at him worriedly.

"Of course not. I have a legitimate business and it won't do me any good to go against the law. Mom, Dad... our family will no longer have to worry about earning money. You can leave everything to me." Arlan muttered with a smile.

"You kid... You talk like a real man now..." Lydio grinned as he patted Arlan's shoulder. He couldn't conceal the joy in his eyes when he heard about his son's status and achievements. Although his sudden rise in wealth was somewhat questionable, they believed that their son would never do something wrong. They had seen him grow up and he wasn't the sort of person who had a vicious heart.

While Arlan was busy giving an excuse to his parents, his subordinates boarded the yacht one by one. Everyone was excited to experience what it was like to be in a luxurious boat.

The crew members noticed that their boss was occupied so they took the initiative to converse with the people on board. They would be workmates in the future so it was better for them to get to know each other.

"Mom, Dad... let's use this opportunity to relax our minds. This is also our first family trip after a long time." Arlan smiled at his parents.

"Fine. We won't make things difficult for you since your subordinates are here. Go ahead. You don't need to be worried about us." Arlan's mother, Anaflor, muttered while shooing him teasingly.

"Your mom is right. We know that you have been busy in the last few days. You should take this time to relax and enjoy the sea." Arlan's father Lydio added.

"There's no need for me to leave. Follow me. I'll introduce you guys to everyone." Arlan said as he pulled his parents. He then introduced them to his subordinates and the crew members of the yacht.

Everyone was very polite to the couple and this made them feel a bit overwhelmed. They had never experienced this kind of treatment in their life. They were used to being looked down on by others because of their low status. They never thought that it actually felt so good to be respected by others.

And so, their vacation began with a good start.

The yacht started moving.

"Mr. Roa, where do you want to go?" The captain of the boat asked.

"Just find a small island for us to relax. It would be better if there are no people around." Arlan replied. He didn't want to think about anything this time. He just wanted to take a short rest. 'I think I deserve this rest...' He muttered in his heart. I think you should take a look at

Meanwhile, in Milan Italy, Leandro together with three of the top members of his drug cartel stood respectfully in front of a man who was seated on a sofa.

This person looked to be in his early forties, but he was actually a sixty-year-old man. He was dressed in a black tuxedo. He was holding a cane with a golden dragon head in his left hand, and a wine glass on the other. This man was the leader of the Cassano Family, Alfonso Cassano!

"Thank you for taking us under your wing, Boss!" Leandro, as arrogant as he was, could only bow his head to this man.

Alfonso handed his wine glass to Eduardo who was standing beside the sofa. He then stood up and used the cane to support himself. "Leandro, now that you have pledged your allegiance to the Cassano Family, we will help you grow your business in Asia. You are quite lucky. We have a big client to meet in Singapore four days from now. I'll give you the chance to follow Eduardo in meeting this person. If you do your job well, I will give you more chances in the future. However, if you fail to impress me, I think you know what will happen." Alfonso's murky eyes flashed with cruelty. He might be old, but he was by no means weak!

Leandro didn't dare look into the old man's eyes. He lowered his head and answered respectfully. "I won't fail you, boss!"

Alfonso chuckled as he looked deeply at Leandro before he left.

Eduardo slowed down his steps and when he reached Leandro's side, he whispered. "Don't mess this up. The client we will meet in four days is not a small figure. In fact, I think you know him quite well..."

After saying those words, Eduardo waved his hand and hastened his footsteps.

'What did he mean by those words?' Leandro frowned as he pondered deeply. He couldn't think of any big names so he decided to forget the matter for the time being.

"Boss, now that we have integrated into the Cassano Family, our rise in Asia will be unstoppable!" One of his subordinates laughed.

Leandro snorted at his words. "Fool! Do you think it would be that easy?"

His three subordinates were taken aback. One of them couldn't help but ask. "What do you mean, boss?"

Leandro's eyes turned cold as he muttered. "We might be part of the Cassano Family now, but there are still many hidden dragons and crouching tigers in Asia. In Japan, there is the Yama Group helmed by a vicious character known as Daichi Yama. They have more than thirty thousand members in their group and they work like a legitimate business enterprise. In China, there is also the Heartless Dragon Triad. They have more than thirty thousand members and their business is spread all over the world. Although these two syndicates are not as strong as La Cosa Nostra, their power is almost the same. You guys have to be careful when you meet people from these groups. We cannot afford to offend them just because we have the Cassano Family's protection! Do you guys understand?!"

"Yes, boss! We will remember your words!"
