Chapter 1107.6: Representation War (Part 6)
Tracing back to the past. Right after Ahjar left with Hazen, Compass Carburettor stared down at the kneeling figure of Slayer, watching more and more fragments of the Representative System enter him, "How does it feel?"
"You…" Slayer glared in disbelief, intending to stop the process. But, he was being compelled by a mysterious force, unable to stop for the time being. 'No, once I recover the rest of my body, I'll have enough power to do whatever I want. I'll be strong enough to face these fuckers too.'
Thinking as such, Slayer waited as the last fragment of the Representative System seeped into his body, carrying a Coordinate with it. The moment he asked, Zaira instantly supplied it to him.
After all, the Representative System was very valuable, the primary reason behind the era of System Supremacy.
The Coordinate fused into his body and absorbed half the fragments to become his Core Skill. The Representative System had lost seven levels, but it could be recovered soon, as long as he turns a Genre Representative into a Host.
Unfortunately, that would never happen. After all, the moment his Core Skill formed, the fog in his mind cleared up. And following it, like water gushing out of a broken dam, Slayer was flooded with torture experiences.
One Instant!
That was all it took before Slayer's mind shattered. It was too much for one person to bear, especially since he was still being maintained as a mortal.
Slayer collapsed to the ground, his mind fully wiped out. Whether it be his memories, experiences, ego, willpower, thoughts, data, etc. everything Slayer had collected to date was erased from his being, for his mind shattered.
It didn't simply shatter but disintegrated. Such was the extent of torture he was subjected to.
Slayer stared blankly, having no mind of his own. At this moment, Compass Carburettor grabbed his face using his left hand, causing the Ring of Secrecy to shine.
As Slayer was currently a whole, he was successfully turned into a Secret Society member. As he didn't even have a mind, it was easy to turn him into a member.
Immediately in response, Compass Carburettor extracted the memories and experiences of a certain entity from his past and fused them into Slayer. Lore and Tell-Tale were activated in full swing as Slayer's body was kneaded like dough and transformed into a serpent.
"Henceforth, you are Dita."
Slayer's power as the Representative System was wholly concentrated within the serpent that was now renamed as Dita. The serpent wriggly cutely as it coiled around his arm, hissing softly as a nostalgic voice resounded, "Uncle, what are we doing next?"
"We'll have to arm you first. You're the key to killing Zaira." Saying so, Compass Carburettor kicked with his boot, intending to head towards the System World's breach and actively participate in the war.
Just as he was about to teleport, faint specs of starlight flickered into existence before him, shimmering like a butterfly before exploding in large numbers. They interrupted his teleportation and sent him crashing into the world.
"Compass Carburettor, surrender!" A cold voice resounded as a world resembling a star appeared, brimming with killing intent. The figure was vastly different from before, but it was a familiar entity. And of course, how could Compass Carburettor not know?
Grade 3 System—Constellation (Level 219)!
It was Stencil.
Her attack sent Compass Carburettor crashing into the world, but he wasn't injured. After all, acting as his clothes was an entire universe morphed to resemble as such. To damage it, Stencil would have to erupt with an attack strong enough to destroy a universe.
And that was hard, since she was merely a low-levelled Grade 3 System. But the strange thing was how accurate her timing was, striking Compass Carburettor right as he planned to leave. It was perfectly coincidental.
Grade 3 System—Luck (Level 222)!
It was Rhizen, having been dispatched to hinder Compass Carburettor.
"…" Compass Carburettor swerved his head to the other side, watching the third Grade 3 System arrive. It too was a familiar entity.
Grade 3 System—Ruination (Level 217)!
"We need your head, Compass." Gehera's voice resounded through her planetary form, "Surely you wouldn't deny my request, right?"
"After all, I saved your life on multiple locations and protected you for 75 years."
While Gehera talked to him, Rhizen stealthily unleashed his Core Skill Manifestation, causing the luck of the universe to transform into a chain that bound Compass Carburettor to the place.
With that, he couldn't leave as he pleased, unless he destroyed the chains. Before Compass Carburettor could focus on the chains, Stencil followed suit with her Core Skill Manifestation, causing a tower to envelop him and trap him at the centre.
Gehera seemed to be waiting for this as she unleashed her Core Skill Manifestation, causing everything within the tower to enter a state of ruin.
Fusion Core Skill Manifestation—Unlucky Tower of Ruin!
They intended to trap Compass Carburettor within the Unlucky Tower of Ruin and accumulate damage to him over time. That way, even if Compass Carburettor were to break free from it in the future, he would be severely wounded.
By then, Compass Carburettor could easily be killed by a Grade 3 System.
The perfect fusion of three Core Skill Manifestations resulted in such a death trap. This was Zaira's trump card against Compass Carburettor. Through Rhizen's luck, the ability would land right on the target.
After all, Rhizen and Compass Carburettor went way back, with their lucks intertwined to a certain extent. So, the attack was guaranteed to hit.
"Has he been trapped?" Gehera asked, gasping in exhaustion.
"Of course," Rhizen nodded as he sensed the luck values churning within the Unlucky Tower of Ruin, "He's taking damage as we speak."
"But still," Rhizen frowned, "We succeeded on the first try. How is that possible? Even my luck cannot result in such a smooth result, especially since Compass has the ability to erase the memories of anyone harbouring ill will against him."
"The reason we succeeded is thanks to one person." Stencil calmly let out a smile.
"Who?" Gehera asked.
"Who else?" Stencil snorted, "My dad, of course."
"When we attacked, his natural retaliation was strong enough to destroy us. So, he himself blocked his abilities. As a result, he was unguarded against our attacks." She stared at the tower, emanating a chilling energy wave, "Even at this point, he cannot bring himself to harm me."
"I guess guilt is taking its toll on him."
