Chapter 568 The Merman System Slayer
Chapter 568 The Merman System Slayer
Chapter 568 The Merman System Slayer
??The Fantasy World was one of the oldest. And hence, it had one of the most stable power systems because it had developed and evolved for millions of years without crumbling on itself, despite countless Systems entering this world.??And of course, since a lot of Systems had entered this world over its long existence, the number of System Slayers originating from this world too was high.
??Even at a conservative estimate, there were at least a hundred System Slayers originating from this world.
??And of course, they formed one of the closest circles among System Slayers. Even though they were on opposing sides, Faluda and Felladin were part of the same group, called Fourth and Fifth respectively, saved by the same person.
??Even though he was called a Demon, Faluda didn't exhibit any reaction, staring down at his opponent calmly, sensing the unrest among the populace gradually die down upon failing to see any Demons.
??"Damn this troll." One of them glared at Felladin, cursing him for causing a panic wave. One after another, the people hurled curses at Felladin, with some of them even getting up to beat him up.
??Now, it was Felladin's turn to frown, seeing that the tables have turned against him now. When two men approached him, he glared at them, causing their backs to be filled with sweat as they realised the extent of his strength.
??Immediately after, the two men locked hands with one another, whistled casually and exited the restaurant, acting like they didn't even see Felladin.
??It was simple. After all, Felladin's aura revealed that he was a Pseudo-Saint. This was just the aura that he exhibited though. His actual strength was even higher.
??If he were to reveal his true power, then the entire Xetuka Kingdom would rile up in alarm.
??'A Saint at the very least.' Compass Carburettor thought, observing the two individuals as he was able to feel that the Personal Fragments of both originated from this world itself.
??He then extended his senses to the System Slayer in the market, noticing that she too was the same, a System Slayer from this world.
??The other party was tracing Stencil's steps, eventually finding herself within the restaurant, rooted to the spot in shock upon observing the standoff between Faluda and Felladin.
??"Wayna?" Faluda muttered, raising an eyebrow as he tensed up immediately. After all, unlike Felladin whose powers he was fully aware of, he didn't have much of an idea about Wayna.
??Moreover, she was from an older generation, having been a System Slayer for more than a century now. Her accumulation was staggering.
??Based on strength alone, she was stronger than Felladin and Faluda. But, she didn't remain in shock for more than a couple of seconds, behaving like she didn't see the two as she made her way past them, approaching the table where Compass Carburettor and Stencil were seated, purposefully looking around as she acted like all the seats in the restaurant had been occupied.
??She then made large movements, noticing the empty seat beside Compass Carburettor, asking while flashing a pleasant smile, "Can you be a dear and give me that seat?"
??"Help yourself," Compass Carburettor, watching the lady take a seat nearby.
??After ordering her food, she happened to look around when coincidentally chancing upon the bag in stencil's possession, "Are they Tukkan Crystals?"
??"You know about them?" Stencil's eyes lit up in surprise as she acted oblivious to the lady's schemes, taking out one from her bag as she placed it on the table, "I got it for cheap in the market. They are fun, so I bought quite a lot of them."
??"Ahh!" The lady, Wayna exclaimed in surprise, placing her hand on her mouth to control her excitement, stating after a moment, "I was just searching for this too! I went all over the market and couldn't find any."
??[Dad, she's a good actor.]
??[I can see that. I'm seated right next to her.]
??"Lady, do you know how to use them?" Stencil asked.
??"Please, just call me Wayna. We don't seem far too apart in age." She winked. Appearance-wise, she looked like a human lady in her early twenties, the same as Stencil.
??Though, she was neither a human nor in her early twenties. She originated from the Merman race.
??Wanya looked at Stencil, saying, "I won't lie to you. Tukkan Crystal is one of the most malleable materials. If you add it to gold, you can create Duloctite, the material used in Alchemy. But, if you manage to get your hands on Black Gold, then you can add it to the Tukkan Crystal to create Magicite."
??"Magicite?" Stencil raised an eyebrow.
??Of course, she was aware of what a Magicite was. It was a material used in the creation of gems that could amplify a mage's power. They were precious items that even a Master could only own after spending his life's savings to buy them.
??Duloctite was used in the creation of a Mage robe and a Warrior's armour whereas Magicite was the item that breathed life into such items, turning them into powerful Magical Tools.
??This was why when Stencil noticed the Tukkan Crystal being sold for so cheap, she bought them. There was another crystal called the Ketu Crystal which didn't have any other use than being ornamental, sticking a sharp resemblance to the Tukkan Crystal.
??So, oftentimes, the two were mixed up. Had the hawker been aware that the item he was selling was the infamous Tukkan Crystal and not a Ketu Crystal, he would have shed buckets of tears.
??After all, even the smallest piece of Tukkan Crystal was sold for ten Royal Xetuka. And in Stencil's possession was a bag full of it, enough to spark the greed of anyone.
??"Can't you sell me some of them, Yaka?" Wayna said, familiarising herself with the two individuals.
??"Hmm, I can sell some of them to you for cheap…?" Stencil trailed off, smiling as she gazed at Wayna, "But, you must show me your forging process."
??"Sure, but you might not believe me though," Wayna warned them, surprised to see the two individuals smile at her casually.
??"We have travelled through a lot of places. So, it isn't easy to trigger our disbelief."
