Chapter 580 Horan Vs Teto

Chapter 580 Horan Vs Teto

Chapter 580 Horan Vs Teto

??Tentuna City, in one of its five Yakuna, droves of people roamed around, loading and unloading a lot of materials.

??Some of them were items that they had purchased in Tentuna City while the unloaded goods consisted of those that they had brought from the Electra Empire to be sold for travel funds.

??Even though there were enough funds in their treasury, most of them were the coins minted at the Electra Empire. So, they needed to procure the local currency—Xetuka.

??"My Lord, let me accompany you…" Dolare bowed, saying in a hurry upon seeing Horan exiting the Yakuna. But before he could finish his sentence, Horan raised his hand, motioning for him to stop speaking.

??"I wish to spend some time alone. Besides," He lightly unleashed his aura, "Do you truly believe anyone out there could harm me?"

??"B-But my lord, there are existences stronger than a Pseudo-Saint. Even if they never show their faces, they are still there…" Dolare stopped speaking, sensing the dense killing intent emanating from Horan, one sharp enough to dice his mind into pieces.

??"You misunderstand me once again." After a while, Horan retracted his killing intent, watching Dolare collapse to the ground as he said, "If a threat appears that even I can't handle, whether you're there or not won't make a difference. Do I make myself clear?"

??"Y-Yes, my Lord." Dolare bowed in response, watching Horan exit from view as he gritted his teeth, "If only I was a Pseudo-Saint too, then I wouldn't be this useless."

??But, what he hadn't noticed was a mild spark on his clothes that vanished once he finished his sentence.

??Walking on the road, Horan heard Dolare's regretful statement, smiling, "It seems he still has the drive to grow stronger. This is good. Even though he's slow on the uptake, he still has the potential to become a Pseudo-Saint."

??Following that, Horan walked along the side of the road, having covered himself with a plain robe. But, even if his clothes were that of a commoner, whether it was his appearance, gait, or demeanour, none matched that of a commoner.

??So, it was as clear as day that he was a noble, and someone high up the ladder at that. The sensitive people made way for him to pass by, shrinking into their clothes as they refrained from standing out.

??Accustomed to such gazes, Horan continued to walk on the road, taking in the sights of the surroundings, 'This indeed is a different territory.'

??He sighed, for a moment feeling liberated. Things in his home territory were somewhat suffocating, especially since he and his brother schemed against one another nonstop. But now that he had arrived here, he could be at peace.

??Things would change once he reached the capital, so the short few days of stay in Tentuna City would be his haven of serenity.

??Thinking as such, he continued to walk, eventually finding himself venturing into the flea market, finding the myriad of items presented at the place interesting, casually browsing through them one after another.

??Suddenly, his senses caught onto a familiar figure beyond the flea market, gazing at the terrace of a lodge where Teto stood, accompanying a foreign lady.

??How did he know that she was a foreign lady? Even though Gehera didn't look that different from the people in the Xetuka Kingdom, she had a strange, murky air to her that felt unnerving, tingling his senses.

??'Is she a spy?' This was his first line of thought, for wielding the Lightning Element as both a Mage and a Warrior, he had exceptional senses, capable of differentiating races even through their disguise.

??And even though it wasn't clear, he could sense something foreign in Gehera, something that didn't seem human.

??'What is Teto doing there with her? What happened to Yaka?' He frowned, deciding to investigate the situation. He would be lying if he said he wasn't interested.

??And hence, as he calmly continued to walk past, there was a sudden breeze as the hairs of the people rose all of a sudden, surprising them. It only happened for less than a second, so the people only attributed it to the sudden wind.

??The figure of Horan had vanished from the flea market, arriving at the terrace of the lodge, hiding beside the window sill as he spied on the sounds from inside, hearing the words Compass Carburettor had said to Gehera.

??'She has the Titan bloodline in her? How is this possible? Two foreign races can't have a child, especially between a human and a Titan.' He thought, after all, even if it was between two humanoid races that had somewhat of a similarly-sized physique, it was possible to stomach any exceptions that might arise.

??But between a Human and a Titan? Please!

??Even the tallest of humans didn't touch three metres in height, but even the shortest of Titans surpassed a hundred metres in height. The sheer size difference simply made it impossible for the two races to mate, not to mention have a child together.

??'But, how is it possible then?' He wondered, for he could indeed sense something foreign in Gehera. And if the conversation between her and Compass Carburettor was the truth, then…

??Suddenly, his figure flickered as the wall he was leaning against was riddled with dozens of holes.

??"Who's there?" Teto's shout resounded as bullets flew out of the room in a torrent, curving in the air as they homed towards Horan.

??Instantly, a layer of lightning formed on his body like chainmail, flickering with sparks that accurately landed on the approaching bullets, melting them into lava that fell on the ground, raising smoke in response.

??Swoosh!

??Horan's figure vanished immediately after, evading all the bullets approaching him as he arrived behind Teto, placing his hand over his throat, "It's me, Teto. Stop."

??"Eh? What are you doing here, my Lord?" Teto gradually relaxed, asking in surprise.

??"Who is she?" Horan asked, pointing at Gehera, "She's not human, is she?"

??"She's human," Teto said, frowning as he tensed up, unable to determine what stance would Horan take on the matter.
