Chapter 744: Kekumi Xetuka

“Fuck!” Limokrocus screamed in anger upon seeing his surrounding painted in reddish-black, a result of smoke and fire intermixing volumetrically.

He had transformed into a Magic Beast specialised in defence, having erected a barrier to safeguard the elites of their army. Pseudo-Saint took the greatest priority, followed by Grandmasters.

And he covered as many Masters as his barrier could protect safely without compromising the survivability of the rest. Lakhs of Lizardmen died as the sky collapsed.

The burning metallic meteors caused the earth to rumble from the impacts as all the moisture from the marshlands vaporised, creating steam explosions that caused a second degree of shockwaves to course through the land, cracking it up.

Lava began to ebb out of the worst impacted craters, raising the temperatures of the place.

Limokrocus stared at the over five thousand lizardmen protected under his magic barrier, sighing in relief, ‘At least the majority of my elites are alive.’

Even though the losses were disastrous, with the might of Starfall beyond his wildest expectations, Limokrocus stared at his barrier enduring the meteor impacts, smiling upon seeing te entire region being blanketed out by smog.

“Let’s go.” He said, shocking the startled Lizardmen that still failed to recover from Starfall’s might.

“M-My Lord, this is…” A Pseudo-Saint expressed his fear, only to see Limokrocus stare in calm, surprising his Lizardmen brain.

“Starfall can only be used once.” Limokrocus said in content, “Its power is tremendous, but after every discharge, it needs at least a decade to recharge itself. This means…”

He grinned, letting out a hoarse voice, “Starfall will not make an appearance for at least another decade. And that’s more than enough time to destroy Xetuka Kingdom.”

“After all,” He stared at the smoggy sky, “Lethuna’s goal was to expend Starfall. My presence here will ensure the Xetuka Kingdom’s Guardian Saint would have no other choice but to remain here. Only he can keep me in check. We can sit back and watch the fun next. It is Gormana’s turn now.”

The Aira!

In the northern fort of Xetuka Kingdom, the defending army stared in shock, observing hundreds of thousands of Giants stream out of Gormana.

“M-My Lord, they’re bringing out their entire power.” The acting Commander of the northern fort that took charge in Lelumi Xetuka’s absence kneeled in fright.

“Stand up, soldier.” A solemn voice resounded as a lady revealed herself out in the open, bearing similarities to Lelumi Xetuka.

She was Kekumi Xetuka, queen of the Xetuka Kingdom, a Saint that was in charge of the entire north’s safety, taking action the moment a Saint from Gormana took action.

The moment she revealed herself, everyone in the fort revealed a sigh in relief. She was strong, terrifyingly so, having beaten the Giant Saints time and again for centuries now. Currently among all her children, Lelumi Xetuka expressed the greatest talent, showing signs of following her footsteps to become a Saint in the future.

“My Lord, three of Gormana’s Saints have shown themselves…” The acting Commander said, nervous.

Currently, the Xetuka Kingdom’s Guardian Saint had gone to the south to face Lethuna’s assault. Kekumi Xetuka had been dispatched to the north.

Among the remaining two Saints, one had gone to the west to face the Birdmen while the final one was stationed in the Capital, intending to reinforce the place that was affected the most.

But that Saint had already joined the battle in the west a couple of times for the Birdmen had pretty much launched a suicidal charge, unlike the Lizardmen and the Giants.

This meant more manpower had to be focused on the west. Meaning, if the situation turned bleak, they couldn’t ask for any reinforcements.

And as if to nail their problems further, three of the Gormana’s Saints had made an appearance, weakening their assault on Burnak to target Xetuka first.

“Focus on killing as many Giants as possible. Don’t conserve any resources.” Kekumi Xetuka said, “We cannot afford to hold back in the slightest. There’s a good chance we’re facing imminent destruction.”

‘T-This…’ Even though he had hoped for the case to be different, but when Kekumi Xetuka herself stated it, despair set in his hear. But an instant later, intense hatred billowed out of the acting commander as he thumped his chest, “Please fight without any concerns, my Lord. I’ll do everything in my power to annihilate their Pseudo-Saints.”

“I know you can do that.” Followed by a nod in confidence, Kekumi Xetuka took flight, hovering high up in the sky as she stared at the massive army before her. A moment later, she ignored them, glaring at the three individuals that stood atop the hill they had created in an instant.

The hill spanned a height of five hundred metres, reaching the same altitude as her, growing out of the ground in an instant. And standing on its peak were three Giants, their expressions one of excitement as they stared at Kekumi Xetuka.

“Times have changed, Kekumi. Your Kingdom will be annihilated from this region today.” The one that spoke was a Giant reaching a height of five metres, sporting a wide body frame with steel like muscles. He was Garmd, Guardian Saint of Gormana, a Manipulator and Tank.

Manipulators manipulated the nature around them, primarily the earth, with rare occasions of water, wind, and lava. Garmd was capable of manipulating both earth and water.

And thanks to his profession as a Tank, he was a mobile fortress, barely sustaining any damage from the most threatening of attacks.

Though in the past, when he tried to capture The Aira, he had fought against Kekumi Xetuka and was soundly defeated.

Kekumi Xetuka was a Warrior that wielded both Fire and Wind, naturally countering his abilities. Therefore, they had a long-standing feud.

“The likes of you? Pah!” Kekumi Xetuka rolled her eyes as she stared at the three Giant Saints, “The three of you, face me.”

The sky turned reddish as Kekumi Xetuka condensed a fiery sword, one that spanned a length of a kilometre, causing the clouds nearby to vaporise and coil around it in response.

“Cut the crap,” She shouted, swinging the fiery sword, cutting the hill in half like knife through butter, the heat vaporising the hill, creating toxic fumes that were blown by the wind towards the army of Giants, causing a good fraction of them to cough, poisoned.

“You still dare target my army even when faced against us?” Garmd stared at the droves of Giants that collapsed to the ground due to the toxic fumes, angered at the fact that Kekumi Xetuka bothered them even in the current state of things.

A second later, the toxic fumes changed directions, heading towards the northern fort instead.

The one that had taken action was Saint Gult, one capable of manipulating the wind. Unfortunately, the toxic fumes failed to reach the northern fort, displaying the superiority over wind that Kekumi Xetuka exuded.

Boom!

Kekumi Xetuka vanished, transforming into a laser that crashed into Garmd, punching through the rock hill he created as a shield. Condensed on her hand were gigantic gauntlets of fire, appearing akin to the sun.

Each punch splashed forth lava in all directions, turning the cold lands into a lava-covered hell, causing the Giants to scurry.

“Die!” Garmd bellowed, causing two hands to jut out of the ground and clamp upon Kekumi Xetuka who flickered right past it and rushed at him, slamming the fiery fists into his face.

Kaboom!

Air cracked as Garmd was sent flying. Though, he wasn’t in the least injured, his body tough as all he suffered was a mild trace of ash on his nose that he wiped out casually.

‘Fucking tank!’ Kekumi Xetuka groaned internally, eyeing the three Giant Saints surrounding her as her figure flickered, breaking through the wall of wind as she flew towards the region where the Giant army was stationed.

A fiery sword slashed at a rocky hand, cutting through it like butter as lava splashed from the point of contact, cascading to the ground like a waterfall as the Giants below scurried in response. Those that failed to escape on time were killed by the lava that melted through their bodies.

“She’s planning to weaken our armies using our battle.” The three Saints exchanged messages before which one of them broke out of the encirclement, making a beeline towards the northern fort.

He wished to do the same as Kekumi Xetuka and bring the battle to the region filled with humans instead. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t fast enough as Kekumi Xetuka appeared before him and punched him deeper into Gormana.

“You want to bring the battle into my Xetuka?” Kekumi Xetuka stared in disdain, condensing a fiery hammer that blasted through a hill, sending Saint Gaffh flying in response before speeding into a flash, akin to a laser as she appeared before Saint Garmd, raining down punches on him nonstop.

“Die! Die! Die!” She shouted, pummelling Garmd through his defences, watching his defences gradually wear out as blood oozed out of his wounds. She powered through his defences using sheer heat, burning like the sun as her every attack turned her surroundings into a sea of fire.

Boom!

Saint Garmd slammed into the ground, causing a massive crater as he stared in shock, “How…did you become this strong?”

“The Kekumi Xetuka that I fought before wasn’t this stron…”

Boom!

A fiery fist pummelled him deeper into the ground as Kekumi Xetuka hovered in the sky, expressing her dominance as all three Giant Saints were now buried in the ground, hearing a bell chirm in her mind.

<Ding!>
