I like them big, do you?

Chapter 17: Mana is for everything

After the introductions, Yuki brought the trio out of the underground through the secret passage.

Once outside, Reylin breathed the fresh air and summoned a small fireball.

He played with it until it ran out, then Reylin just summoned another one.

All close to him would know why he would do that, but the twins and Yuki didn't fall in that category.

The more talkative twin parted her lips, "Are you really pyromaniac, or is it some kind of quest?"

Yuki's eyes brightened as she heard the second part, and she nodded inwardly as if enlightened.

Indeed, all weird quirks could have been actually part of the quest!

Reylin chuckled, "It calms me down."

He sounded so genuine that no one thought about the class quest anymore.

This man was a natural pyromaniac.

At least, someone similar as he didn't let out those flames burn across the forests, and his flames just danced above his palm so far.

"Since you use palm as your weapon, do you have some fighting skill tree? We use swords, and the sword skill tree opened for us," External Sweetness said.

She was the main partner for the conversation, and Reylin liked her the most as of now. People who kept things to themselves were even worse than those who kept comparing him to other brothers!

"Weapon Skill Tree? I don't follow the usual path, and if you want to probe into my class, then you are doomed to fail," Reylin's smile was unwavering as he talked with her.

External Sweetness shook her head, "Can't you satiate a little of my curiosity?"

"Maybe if you can do the same to me. I am interested in your swordsmanship, but that would touch that real life, wouldn't it?" Reylin turned his eyes and deeply looked into hers.

The twins looked into each other's eyes, and then the one replied, "Not today, at least."

"My curiosity is not that deep to involve myself with you for that long, however. After we complete Yuki's quests, we will part and then reunite at some teamwork quest or whatever there's planned." Reylin said.

Although the variety was great and interesting, he wouldn't let others dictate his path. He would strive toward the flames, and Layla's quest was the closest to that goal. In this case, he would be more than glad to add her to his adventure.

Those twins, the future would tell, but no one could tame Reylin!

"It's a weird feeling, isn't it?" External Sweetness turned her eyes to her twin.

Internal Sweetness nodded, "It is."

At that time, Yuki stopped and turned around.

She was at the helm for some time, and as her eyes expanded a little, "We have already started the first quest. Have you noticed something?"

The twins looked at each other again, then shook their heads.

Reylin parted his lips, "Your steps were silent." He turned around, "I guess you also haven't left any footsteps. As I talked with Es, your presence sometimes slipped out of my eyesight. It's hard to forget about such unique beauty, though."

"Thank you," Yuki nodded.

"No need. I meant it," Reylin smiled.

A brief silence unfolded, but just for a moment as Yuki carried on with her speech.

At that time, the quest logs flashed in the three players' eyes...

Her explanation was also quite simple.

Use the Black Rose method to circulate mana through your body!

All players received bodies with mana.

That skill didn't use mana but influenced its flow. Thus, various methods opened to the player who was aware of that method. For example, the eyes would be able to see in the darkness, and the presence also would diminish itself... This applied to the whole body, and one would hide and investigate many things through this method.

Reylin smiled, "Mana is for everything. It's like all you need is good mana control and some knowledge, and you are good to go." He created skills out of nowhere, but Reylin believed he had a good and genuine ambition!

Yuki looked at him, "Your mana control is the best. You should be able to learn it the fastest... Mana has always been the answer in our world... Even the Ascended didn't forsake it and turned into their own type."

"Hmm. Their own type? That sounds like another good challenge." Reylin kept smiling, making the other three ladies look at him helplessly.

A proper training began then.

In the forest with many leaves fallen on the ground, Reylin learned the quiet steps first. He also learned how to erase his footsteps. His good mana control continued to surprise Yuki, who supervised the whole class quest.

At some point, External Sweetness, Es, leaned toward him for the tips, "How do you do it? Can you show me that mana control? Like, do you feel your mana?"

"You don't feel mana while using skills?" Reylin asked.

"I don't," Es replied, surprising Reylin.

She also didn't comment on her new nickname and quite liked how natural Reylin was with it already.

"That's your problem then. Try feeling that mana while swinging your sword, I guess. As for other techniques, don't try to just use mana. Just like the proper swordsmanship can outshine amateur swords with skills, I try to move lightly and use the mana at the same time." Reylin explained.

"I thought it had something to do with the fireball on your palm. Thanks for the help!" The twin nodded and turned back to her sister.

The training in the forest continued, and Reylin ended the essential quests first! His flames burned on the wild boar, and following Yuki's words, he skinned it. He used again mana for it, and just one knife cut was enough.

The mana did the rest, and Reylin received skin and meat.

"At some point, you will be able to apply Black Rose's Mana Method to your Mage Skills," Yuki said, giving the example of her words.

She used one of the mage skills silently and the cold touch spread on Reylin's body without him noticing it.

He noticed the coldness only after her words, but that was also her deliberately exposing that.

Reylin shook his head, "My flames will never be silent. Flames can not be silent."

"If that's what you believe, so be it. The preparations for the grand show can be silent then," Yuki replied, and Reylin understood just a little of her words.

He didn't probe further.

Yuki added, "We have baited one of the common nobles and made him conspire against The Blue Rose Royal Family. He will be your first infiltration target."

Reylin didn't bat an eye at those words.

The noble was at fault, not them. If he didn't give in for the sweet words, he would have been deemed a loyal one and maybe even rewarded. But in the face of sweet words and promises, he shifted sides and began plotting, believing that one of his co-workers was the other kingdom.

"Infiltrate the noble house, find the proof and return," Reylin flicked his fingers, and his flames vanished, "Will do it now, I guess."

"Do you plan to stay as a mage?" Yuki suddenly asked, then she fished out the black robe.

That robe was similar to what she wore, and it was the cloth anyone from the Black Rose and Blue Rose would discern on the spot.

It increased speed, brought both magical and physical defenses, and it covered one's appearance well.

"Is this question based on my performance in the underground prison?" Reylin asked.

"Yes," Yuki nodded. "How about you throw a punch at me?"

"Sure," Reylin replied, looked at her raised palm, then threw a punch.

Yuki didn't reveal it, but before she learned her mage skills, she used close combat skills, and punching wasn't unfamiliar to her.

She felt the power behind his punch, and that was far from a good one.

Yuki conjured a few quests for Reylin to help him.

He looked at those and thanked her.

Although his goal was to become the flame itself and get the best classes for it, the proper style would increase the fireball punch for the current him. It would be good in the long run, and Reylin looked forward to the new experience.

Be it punching or mana, everything would be related to flames!

"Don't you want to be a full-time Black Rose Member?" Yuki suddenly asked.

"Full time? That sounds exciting, but killing others and doing sneaky stuff will get boring too quickly for me, you know? I like to be loud." Reylin smiled, "I don't mind occasionally going for some sneaky adventurers, though."

With these words, Reylin set up for the last quest.

"I know you won't disappoint," Yuki whispered and turned around.

Her ice eyes looked at the twins, and for them, she took out a few swordsman skills. Those were all epic rated and would raise their combat abilities in an instant.

Alas, their mana control was considerably weaker.

Reylin was good with mana.

The twins had superb swordsmanship!

Three of them didn't fear blood, and that was what connected them.

But if all of them were 'one', that would be too good.

-

Reylin received 'great news' from his butler, Sebastian, on his way toward the foolish noble.

[The Monk Butler: Young Master! I saw Heinun Brand at the royal castle!]

[Rey Flames Lin: Heinun Brand? Father's enemy?]

[The Monk Butler: I remember all the faces of Crown's Enemies! That was definitely him. He was with his son, and it seemed like they wanted to become closer with the Blue Roses... That son was already level 10, and his archery stunned the royalties.]

"Knowing this guy, he won't just reach the Blue Rose, but all their vassals. But is this game really that important he made a trip here?" Reylin held his chin, "I guess they really want to throw everything dangerous here. With the money exchange between the worlds, that guy can fuel the royal family, and his son has won the archery contest, so he's the real deal here... Hmm."

[Rey Flames Lin: Build your trust and become a butler for one of the royal descendants. Actually, is there a descendant that hates players?]

[The Monk Butler: A princess doesn't like players...]

[Rey Flames Lin: It will be impossible for you to become her butler, so aim for one of the closest descendants to her. We will use Brand to build trust.]

[The Monk Butler: As you wish, Young Master! How's the prison?]

[Rey Flames Lin: Since when do you joke? I am no longer a prisoner and about to turn into an assassin.]

[The Monk Butler: *Shocked Emoji*]

"This guy... He doesn't believe I can be an assassin." It wasn't so surprising since assassins tend to be quiet and quick.

Reylin used his flames, and those roared! He also would take time in killing his opponents as the fire burned off the HP!

"In any case, I just have to keep my identity hidden," Reylin shrugged and carried on with his strut.
