Chapter 1357: 19.16 Second Red Star - Cruel Execution
Chapter 1357: 19.16 Second Red Star - Cruel Execution
In the dungeon under the Imperial Palace...
Major Cid Warlock's three halfling subordinates received another visit from Queen Titania. They had suffered severe torture and had numerous wounds. The Zerg Queen saw them in this light and maintained her composure, viewing them in the same manner as previously. But when his silver eyes meet theirs, the three halflings' bodies tremble.
"There is no need to be afraid."
With a gesture, Queen Titania pours a potion into each of the three halflings' eyes. Their race developed these restorative potions so that warriors might battle boldly and not be concerned about their physical well-being. It is a potion that heals instantly. However, it could only treat minor wounds. It would not make up for lost blood.
The potion's healing powers astounded the three halflings, and they gazed greedily at the empty vial. With contempt, the female zerg soldiers regarded them.
"Instead of being interested in our potion, why don't you guys watch this flash news?"
The Zerg Queen revealed the startling news about Cid Warlock and the penalty imposed on the halflings as well as this human. The three halflings' faces became pale as they watched the news, as was to be anticipated.
[Flash news: Major Cid Warlock lost his troops and only one survived to return home. Mission failed in Hive and caused the deaths of hundreds of his troops. The Federation confiscated his 'Major' Position and he is now under house arrest. For further information shall be on hold until the final trial.]
[Flash news: The Federation Court announced that Major Cid Warlock had come back in a comatose state and his punishment was held back. Instead, the halflings' family was penalized by him. An order of execution was made by the court. They said that the impure bloodline of these halflings caused fatal injuries to Former Major Cid Warlock and they shall be punished for it.]
A couple of the halflings glanced at one another, noticing that their friend had the strongest response. This halfling obviously has relatives in the Federation Star. Would not his family be put to death by those humans if all halflings were to be punished?
"No. No! Let me go. Let me go back! They are going to kill my family! Ahhh!
Why is this happening?! I serve the federation with wholesome loyalty. Why do they have to treat our families just for one failure!?"
"B-Bro, calm down."
"Calm down. There is no way they are going to spare your grandmother. You tell me to calm down! That's my wife and daughter who are going to get killed!"
A halfling glanced at Queen Titania, who was observing them with a detached stare. There is a trace of sympathy for their plight within those gleaming spheres. Even though it is just a hint, they would not anticipate receiving such sympathy from someone other than their childhood companions. Despite the physical agony he was experiencing, he submitted to the zerg queen.
"I will tell you everything you wanted to know. Please let us go. We wanted to save our family."
"Roan! What the hell are you doing?!"
The individual with a spouse and offspring likewise yielded to Queen Titania. He genuinely could not let those people take away his wife and daughter. He has never been more dissatisfied with the human race or their leader, Cid Warlock than he is right now. He promised to protect them and grant them freedom, didn't he? What kind of circumstance am I in right now?
"I am willing to serve in the Zerg Race. Humans are inhumane. They will throw away anyone who is not of use to them. They don't even treat halflings as their equals. As long as his highness helps me save my family, I am willing to betray the human race."
"Lieutenant Solan!!!"
The lieutenant glared at his other comrades, who didn't want to betray the human race.
"Think about your grandmother! The more time we waste, the more their lives are in danger!"
After a long struggle, the final halfling standing refused to submit, and like his other three allies, bowed. They were worried when they heard the queen remain silent after they had finished speaking. They worry that this is their last opportunity to save their family.
"Heal their wounds. We shall depart right away. With the King's permission to leave the hive, there should be no one to stop us," Queen Titania said as he walked away.
Conversely, the three halflings were taken aback when learning of the Zerg King. They had heard about the Zerg King's rumors long ago, after years of dwelling in the hive. He was described as a fat monarch. Because he was the first to abuse female zergs, he is also the adversary of the group. Why does the Zerg Queen, who ought to detest such a worthless king, request to be allowed to depart?
Do male zergs really have a higher status than female zergs?
"Drink these potions to heal your wounds. Walk out and someone will escort you to the bath and give you a change of clothes. We will leave as soon as the general gives the order."
Once the hive was ready to depart, a tiny spaceship that could fit no more than twenty passengers departed. Gazing through the glass window, Queen Titania saw the scene below dwindling. He saw the silhouette of a man standing atop the Imperial Palace, perhaps bidding him farewell. Not everyone seemed to be able to see it. Despite the distance, he can even identify who it is.
Suddenly, he could hear his nearby subordinates' astonished voices.
"No way! Is that the Zerg King!?"
"Did he climb on the roof of the Imperial Palace? But why?"
"Don't tell me he is seeing off the Queen."
"Is that possible? I heard they don't get along."
"But it was well known that the king hates going out of his chamber, He personally came out to see the Queen off. Plus, those warnings before... Is he?"
Queen Titania took one last look before closing her eyes. "Enough. Use spatial transfer to a nearby planet next to the Federation Star."
"It would be easier to fly without this spaceship, but these guys can't survive in outer space without equipment."
"They just haven't trained for it. You can train them once we return," Queen Titania said.
Colonel Cyril Bailey and his wife, Marquess Conrad, had returned to their natural manly appearance when the Queen's spaceship had departed the hive. Augustus Kaiser, the Zerg King, was standing behind them, staring up at the sky.
Colonel Cyril asked, "Lord Ye, is he truly the reincarnation of Lord Hei's soul fragment?"
"I don't know. Maybe he is, or maybe he is not. Even so, I want you guys to protect him until I am sure of his identity," King Augustus said. "Be careful of the World Eater Fragment. He might be on the human planet."
The two wardens bow their heads before spreading their wings.
Spaceships were not necessary for the Zerg Race to travel across the galaxies. Because of the differences in their physical makeup, they did not need a lot of oxygen to survive. Due to the enemy's ability to operate unencumbered by the absence of air in space, the Human Race was forced to combat the Zerg Race using a mecha or spaceship.
Colonel Cyril Bailey is a female zerg bee queen, and Marquess Conrad Silver is a male wasp. The two promptly spread their wings and took off toward the galaxy, pursuing the spacecraft carrying Queen Titania.
The God of Void suddenly glares at this star's the heavens. He has a frightening, angry appearance. His subsystem-assisted inquiry revealed that Queen Titania had suffered several terrible deaths prior to the star's timeline regression. As a result of the repeated occurrences, Queen Titania's soul may have weakened, as predicted.
Such endless regressions would shatter one's soul if it were an average soul, not the protagonist of this universe or his wife's incarnation. Fortunately, Queen Titania's soul is uninjured, if weakened.
"If he is truly my wife's incarnation, you will have to choose another soul as your protagonist, unless you want this lord to destroy your world."
RUMBLES~
Snort!
Instantly, King Augustus vanished from view. In order to view what was going on board the spaceship, he teleported straight to his quarters and requested that the subsystem establish a connection with System Yue. The Queen Titania received the majority of the viewpoint.
"Even if I am not sure if you are my Jing'er, I am not willing to gamble with your life. You can only die once I'm sure you are not my other half."
The words whispered by the God of Void were heard by no one but him, even so, he could move his eyes away from the figure of Queen Titania on the light screen before him.

In the Federation Star
Not a happy conclusion awaited Cid Warlock and his aide, Lucas, upon their return to the human star. This hybrid, Lucas, was locked up and the unconscious Cid Warlock was taken away. However, it appears that the human race's contempt for the mixed species was much greater than Lucas's.
With the exception of Cid Warlock, the elderly men of the federation decided to discard them after learning of the specifics of their mission's failure.
After all, the Halflings' standing in Federation Star is at its lowest point without Cid Warlock's protection. The Federation began executing halflings as a kind of retribution for Cid Warlock's improper protection. All the halflings had descended into hell ever since Cid Warlock had not yet woken up. Many of them had perished, including every human who grew close to the mixed-breed family.
They received absolutely no mercy.
In addition to being tortured, Lucas was incarcerated. Since coming back to this world, there has not been a single day that he has not been whipped. His view of humanity had devolved into the worst possible situation. They could only be adversaries once they had begun the Halflings' execution.
He is currently being whipped right now. "Wait for the Lord to wake up! How could you kill all his people!?"
"Hmp! A mission failure needs an appropriate punishment. As long as he doesn't have to protect a worthless mixed breed like you, he can be promoted to a higher position. It was your fault for existing and holding back the last descendant of the Warlock Clan!"
"You think too big of yourself. You are weaker than the zerg race and you people sent my lord there for your sake. We only failed one, and you wanted to exterminate us. How absurd!" Lucas retorted.
"Bastard Halfling! You are calling me weak! It was you with an impure bloodline of that bug race that shouldn't exist at all!"
This human soldier's whip is still flying in Luca's direction as he stands chained in front of him. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, yet Lucas chewed his lip grit-free and did not cry out once. Many of the halflings who had not been able to get out of the prison were being executed outside. Although it was a painful sight, no one attempted to speak out for these helpless people.
Some of the Halflings on the execution field had lost their minds and were swearing at the spectators in front of them. They had been living with these people and trying to get along with them, but in the end, that was all just a dream, so their hearts had grown cold.
"Even if we all die, you damn humans will be eaten by the Zergs!"
"You are disgusting, full of yourself, and just a trash race! You will get yourself exterminated before your pride."
"Hahahaha! I cursed the whole human race to die, be tortured, and not have a good ending like us! We shall meet in hell!"
The halflings' executions went on. The words of hatred directed at these humans scared those who heard them. They felt a terrible omen watching over their hearts as they looked at the human race through those hateful eyes. The spouse of the Halfling soldier from Cid Warlock's army is one of the executed.
They had entered the Federation Star with the stealth of the Zerg Race, only to see this scene of innumerable fatalities. Solan is the name of one of Cid Warlock's lieutenants. He dashed toward the execution site while clad in bulky clothing, but it was already too late. His wife had been beheaded. He is limited to hugging his wife's head and killing the executioners present.
ARGHHH!!!
Zain and Roan were equally astounded. They recognized their brothers and grandmother among the deceased. They were confounded, just like Solan, having lost their family. Some people are aware of their identity. A few began to flee, but the Zerg Queen and his people ringed the entire area, making it impossible for them to escape.
The three halfling soldiers are left with nothing to do but hold the bodies of their loved ones and howl.
