I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot [BL]

Chapter 1364: 19.23 Second Red Star - Successful Escape

Chapter 1364: 19.23 Second Red Star - Successful Escape

The hidden spaceship owned by Queen Titania had arrived at the location faster than Silvana Warren's entourage. They waited for Nier and the others to emerge while maintaining the mode's invisibility. Who would have thought that the enemy would have arrived before they were all out and that the rescue squad would squander too much time? For this reason, they found themselves encircled.

The human general Barret Warren's group was destroyed by Queen Titania, but it was ultimately in vain since Silvana Warren's troops managed to capture the rescue crew. She also mentioned that the Zerg Queen was present in this area. Queen Titania is now occupied, preventing Silvana Warren from being assisted by the reinforcement.

In order to prevent the group under the command of the protagonist from being outnumbered, the Zerg Queen had been destroying the majority of spaceships that arrived in this area.

With his enormous white butterfly wings, Queen Titania's magnificent figure floats in the space, preventing spaceships far bigger than himself and a multitude of shattered and fractured spaceship debris hovering in the galaxy. As Titania, the Zerg Queen, blocked most of the way, those at the military post had no idea how many individuals were coming after them.

Nier seems unhappy at witnessing so many human soldiers. He was still okay with Cid Warlock and the others, as they are halflings and half of their blood is like his, but these human soldiers are different. They are pure-blood humans, which the zergs hate the most. He almost couldn't hold back and jumped at the arrogant bitch acting before them.

Thankfully, Cid Warlock noticed and tugged on Lieutenant Solan's shirt as he stood before Nier. Solan held back Nier, as he knew that the hatred of the Zergs towards humans is similar to the human's hatred towards the zergs. They can never see each other in the eyes and would kill each other on the spot.

The Zerg Race occasionally hesitated to kill this unfortunate mixed blood being used by the damn humans, which is another reason why the Federation would primarily deploy Halflings to fight on the front lines.

Solan whispered, "Nier, calm down. There are too many on the side. There are also survivors on this side. Don't make a move yet."

"Damn humans. I should... Hm?" Nier looked around as he heard a sound only understood by the insect race. It's a certain frequency that only bugs can hear.

Nier received a message that the current situation with the Zerg Queen and the spaceship they prepared for the halflings were ready in this very same location. The zerg race possessed a specially designed starship that can turn invisible to humans but immediately identifiable to them. It is a material that the insect race can readily perceive and is exclusive to the hive.

Glancing around, he saw the spaceship in its invisibility mode right away in the corner.

He wrote them about this circumstance while holding Lieutenant Solan's hand. Though initially shocked, the latter maintained his composure. His hand was writing something on the back of their commander, Cid Warlock, while he feigned to listen intently to Silvana Warren's conversation. Cid Warlock, who learned they had an escape route, chose to employ a code that only his staff knew.

Not even his fiancée, Silvana Warren, was aware of it.

Cid Warlock said, "Silvana, I can't leave with you."

"Why is it? You can bring your people this time, but I can only plead for your sake." Silvana Warren responded.

Cid Warlock shook his head and said, "I only have this many people under me. Most of them were killed in my last mission, and the federation killed the families of my subordinates. I cannot forgive them anymore. Moreover, it's not right for you to speak up for me."

"Silvana, let's back off from each other's lives. As I cannot live on this planet any longer, let me go."

"No, you can't! You are mine! I won't allow you to leave my side!" Silvana Warren exclaimed.

As Cid Warlock and Silvana Warren conversed, a few human troops desired to approach the criminals cautiously in order to apprehend them more quickly. Kian and Roan looked at Solan, who gave them a small tip of the head as they realized what their lord had said in secret. The two told the survivors in private to relocate with them. The group moved covertly to the area's right corner.

[Leave. Right. Back off.] This is the message they got from the secret code their commander had spoken just now. They understood that they had a way to leave, asking them to move at the right down corner of the area and gather.

Since these halflings opted to go in that route, the soldiers on the human side saw them as hopeless. However, this is really the only way they can get out of here.

Under Solan's cover, Nier went into stealth mode and crept into the spaceship's position, leaving a sign for Solan and the others to find that indicates where the spaceship's coordinates is.

Silvana Warren also observed the change in location of the individuals behind Cid Warlock. Their paths are blocked by tall walls, and beyond them stand her men, whom she has ordered to surround the entire area.

"Haha~ are you people planning something else? That area is a dead end, and beyond that wall are my people. My Cid, why don't you just give up?" Silvana Warren said, chuckling upon seeing people like a rat that was trapped in the end.

Cid Warlock looked at her with a helpless expression. He took a step back and joined the rest of his people in the corner. He looked at her like a stupid b*tch. In reality, he has disliked this woman since she was young.

She used to bully him and insult him for being an orphan, but with the backing of the Warren family, the last Warlock descendant, him, survived from the claws of the old men in the Federation.

"Silvana, I don't like you, but I don't hate you either. Though it is impossible for me to love you, in the end it was thanks to this affection of yours that your family is willing to protect me. But I am not willing to give you my wings. I hope we don't see each other again," Cid Warlock said.

Silvana Warren was a little taken aback by Cid Warlock's remarks. Given that Cid does not appear to have a way out of his current predicament, she appeared to be even more caustic. She just realized everything when a pillar of light descended upon the Cid Warlock group. This is a spatial light that sucked in people in a spaceship.

This only meant that there is one in the sky above the group of Cid Warlock.

"Spatial Light!? This! Capture them! Don't let them escape!" Silvana Warren was just about to drag away Cid Warlock from the pillar of light when someone kicked her away.

She saw a man with dignified features, but the lime-hued hair and green eyes of this person show he wasn't human. It was the female Zerg soldier, Nier.

"Your Highness, step back. I will stop her."

Although Silvana is a mutant guide, her physique is just as tough as a Sentry's, and Nier's physical attributes are at least A+. However, Silvana Warren is superior to Nier as a guide; if Nier attempted to battle such a strong guide, she would suffer psychological harm. Ultimately, female zergs possess a powerful physical form but struggle with mental control.

Thus, he can only kick her away from them.

As most of the humans in the area discover that Nier is neither a human or a halfling, but rather a pure blood zerg capable of turning entirely human, Silvana Warren becomes furious at the scene and yells at him. Perhaps the Zerg Queen's strength is not greater than that of this elite zerg.

"What are you!? That vibrant hair and eye colors! Are you a zerg!?" Silvana Warren shouted.

Unfortunately, Nier isn't interested in her. Instead, he saluted Cid Warlock.

"Your highness, we shall take our leave. Don't go out of the spatial light," Nier said.

Cid Warlock just nodded his head and looked at Silvana Warren and the other humans, glaring at them. They heard what the high-level zerg called him. 'His Highness' in the hive only the royal tribe is called by this title.

"Cid Warlock, as expected, you are the soy of the Zerg Race!"

"You caused that massacre. You killed humans! And even destroyed the laboratory."

"Traitor! You were never on our side from the beginning."

"You were the ones who betrayed us first!" The former major retorted.

Cid Warlock gives them a chilly glare before this instantly vanishes. The starship, whose invisibility mode faded when it acquired all the halflings that survived, was finally pulled inside by the spatial light. The little spacecraft took off, leaving Silvana Warren and her troop with nothing to do but watch.

Anger was imprinted on Silvana's face as she glared at the sky, where the small spaceship disappeared.

Silvana Warren said, "Find them! Cid Warlock mustn't escape!"

"Yes, my lady!"

---

Meanwhile, inside the space ship owned by the zergs...

Nier looked around and didn't see the Zerg Queen. He was about to report what happened at the military station, but his superior wasn't around at all.

"Where's the general?"

"He was blocking reinforcement from the human race for you. If not for the general, you would all be caught again."

"His highness was blocking the humans at the sea, but some big ones arrived. They might have changed location. I've sent a message that you guys have been successfully rescued."

"Also, Lili's father, your daughter is still asleep. Humans had appeared in the rainforest, and we had no other choice but to leave there."

The other subordinates of the Zerg Queen responded to Nier and the others.

Lieutenant Solan asked worriedly, "Did something happen to Lili?"

"No, she was just sleepy. The queen put her to sleep because enemies had started to gather in this region and he needed to fight for the sake of buying time for you people," a female zerg soldier said. He glances at the other halflings, watching them from a distance with vigilance on their faces.

"What do you plan with those people with you? It wouldn't have mattered if it were only Lili added to your group of five. The destination of this spaceship is Hive. Are you bringing them all over?"

Solan, Kian, and Roan turned to face their leader, Cid Warlock, at the sound of this query. The female zergs stood watch over the humans in the group because not all of the survivors were halflings like them. After all, the Zerg Race harbored a deep hatred for humanity.

Cid Warlock asked, "Can't humans live in the hive like halflings?"

"Your Highness, it's not impossible, but the hatred of zergs towards humans is very strong. It wouldn't be enough to only have the Zerg Queen's permission. You need to at least have the Zerg King's Royal Decree for them to be able to step foot in the hive," Nier explained.

Cid Warlock mumbles, "A Royal Decree? It seems that the authority of the Zerg King is higher than the Zerg Queen."

"The authority of the Zerg Queen falls on the military, while the Zerg King's authority falls on every zerg in existence. His decree is absolute," Nier added.

Cid Warlock asked, "Is it possible to land on some other habitable planet before going back to the Hive?"

"Yes, but we need the Queen's permission for that. This spaceship is his after all."

Cid Warlock said, "Then I would like to meet your Queen."

The Zerg Queen has the power to command these female zergs, but the former major sensed that they might be paying attention to him. His status alone would not make zergs who serve another leader obey him, even though he may be a royal descendent of the Royal Zerg Tribe.

It is not a bad idea for him to establish a footing in the Hive, as all he has left is this half lineage and he can not go back to the humans. Meeting the Zerg Queen was the first step he decided to take.
