Chapter 111: Over One Million Experience?!
Chapter 111: Over One Million Experience?!
With the crimson haze of [Heaven's Wrath] rippling through the air and the beam of destruction locked onto its target, the Shadow Stalker Trio could do nothing but watch as its end approached.
~FWISH~
And so after only five seconds of this dead silence…
~BOOOOOMM~
The [Heaven's Wrath] finished charging up and the crimson beam descended on the 'Shadow Stalker Trio'.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH-" they couldn't speak since their monster intellect wasn't high enough for that, but the dozens of mouths scattered throughout its body screamed in agony as its body was disintegrated.
"-58378! -57462! -59824!"
It obviously died before the perk of the arrow that pierced it could even make it explode.
After the beam disappeared, there was nothing left at the spot the STRONG monster was in, it was as if it had been erased from existence, none of it remained, and Stark preferred that, he would rather such a disgusting existence to just disappear from the face of the earth
~FWISH~
Stark avoided another arrow that came at him, probably trying to take him off guard since he was happy after eliminating the monster that had caused him trouble.
'Sneaky,' he smiled, but of course he wouldn't let his guard down.
He also couldn't help but notice that the 'Victims of Sierra' that were located inside the range of the beam had also disappeared, were they dead too?

…
'…?' Stark's eyes widened upon seeing all these notifications appear, and especially the amount of experience he had gotten.
Because with all of this…
[+1,124,780EXP!]
Suddenly, he was enveloped by the golden glow that signified a level up not once, but twice.
[Your level has increased to level 26, granting you two skill points and boost in stats]
[Your level has increased to level 27, granting you two skill points and boost in stats]
[Experience: 313491/569000]
'This is… amazing,' he couldn't help but laugh.
He had risked his life and almost died, but just seeing his level go up so much made it all worth it in his eyes.
And in addition to that, it seemed like the 'Shadow Stalker Trio' dropped one item as there was a black glow in the place its body was disintegrated, he took it and immediately put it inside his [Spatial Inventory] without checking what it was.
'Gotta go now…' he mumbled, of course he wanted to take his time to check his status window and attribute his skill points to a skill, but it wasn't possible in here, not with so many arrows being thrown at him, and the possibility of more monsters approaching.
Stark resumed running to the end of the area as it was extremely close now.
And after only a few minutes… he had reached it: the end of the 'Beginning of The End'.
He was now out of the stone path with forest around it, and found himself in a clearing filled with tall, towering trees that reached up into the sky.
The sunlight filtered in between the branches, casting dappled shadows on the ground.
But the occasional trees were the only thing present in this clearing, and there weren't much of them, it was just that they were so big they took up lots of space.
And very far, Stark observed…
'A cave!' at the very back was a cave that resembled the one he used to reach this rift, probably the final area.
[Level 70 Area: 'The Giant Trees Challenge']
'Solo-type' rifts seemed to be much smaller than normal ones or secret ones since they could only be used by a single person at a time, and this one only had three areas, as well as a low amount of monsters to fight.
It was still extremely difficult since it was Nightmare-Level, but it wasn't big enough to worry about monsters, in all cases, the difficulty of this rift mostly came from the fact that the arrows can one-shot you.
Stark took a step forward, stepping in the second area of 'Sierra's Death Path', ready to take care of anything that came his way.
But suddenly…
~FWISH~
He heard the sound of an arrow and got ready to avoid it, but… the arrow wasn't aimed at him this time.
'Huh… did they miss…?'
No… they had sent over a hundred arrows at him until now, yet none of them missed, all were perfectly aimed to hit him if he didn't avoid each time.
So why…?
The arrow exploded normally like it should, and then the giant screen of white mist appeared like usual, which Stark made sure to stay away from obviously.
But this time… it was different.
Once the mist began to slowly clear, a figure was standing there, appearing out of nowhere.
"Haaa~" the figure, its appearance and body still hidden by the mist, smiled, "Seems like you're better than I thought~"
"…" Stark just looked at her with a blank smile, he was referring to the figure as her since she had a feminine voice, "Monster that can talk?"
His mind immediately thought about the fact that it was rare for a monster in a middle area to speak human language as the only one he had encountered before was Judicator since he was 'Godless Demon' apostle.
'Wait a damn minute…' it clicked in Stark's mind as he realized that this could mean only one thing, and he looked up as the mist fully cleared.
[Sierra, The Crystal Archer (BOSS)]
'…?!' Stark's eyes widened and he took a step backward the moment that panel appeared before him, he hadn't used [Perception] at all, but it just automatically appeared, just like it did when he met a boss/mini-boss/elite, meaning that it was the real deal.
He instinctively activated his [Domination] aura in case a battle would break, but he was sure nothing major would happen since he wasn't at the boss area.
'Sierra', the boss of the rift, was a woman (or at least it had a woman's body), long white hair, and a blue/white long dress, as well as 'snowflake' earrings and crystal blue eyes.
She was very beautiful, and her overall aura could be described with one word: chilly.
In her hand was a white bow, an arrow attached to it, and she was holding it with her two hands, smiling at Stark.
And then…
~FWISH, PAW~
At lightning speed, she pointed the bow at Stark then shot the arrow at him.
"Invincible Dodge!" he rolled to the site since at this distance, it was hard to avoid it, even with the wings.
"Hahahahaha~" Sierra laughed, "Looks like you're really good at avoiding things~ better than the 7 others at least," she mocked.
Suddenly, she stopped grabbing the bow with one of her hands and…
"Sierra Arrows!" she used one of her skills to create an [Arrow of Sierra] in the hand that was now free, a cold aura enveloping her and seeping into her hand to form into the shape of the arrow with the white heart at the edge of it.
'She can create as many of them as she wants,' Stark understood now, and it was terrifying to think about.
And so just like that, Stark was in front of the final boss while still being only at the mid-part of the rift.
"Haha kid~ show me what you've got, alright?" Sierra laughed as she pointed her bow at Stark again.
