Chapter 161 - Escorting The Children
Chapter 161: Escorting The Children
Jin Yang was a solitary character. Even Shao An, who had followed him for many years, was unable to get too close to him. He still had to maintain a safe distance from him.
But now, Jin Yang was letting Little Yu behave wantonly in his arms. He even wiped her saliva on his collar.
The president’s guards were shocked and stole glances at his face, which was very similar to those of the three children. They lowered their heads and speculated about their relationship.
Jin Yang brought the children to a safe hiding spot and asked tentatively, “Why are you guys here?”
Little Yu was innocent and naive. She was not guarded at all. She explained all their plans. “We overheard that you didn’t want to help Mommy. We were afraid that she would be in danger, so we secretly came to help Mommy beat up the bad guys!”
“Second Brother is very powerful. His slingshot is very accurate.”
“Eldest Brother is very smart. He was the one who led Second Brother and Little Yu to find Mommy’s location! We’re very powerful, right?”
Hearing Little Yu’s explanation, Jin Yang’s expression was somewhat complex and unfathomable.
Although the children were brave and resourceful, the situation in the mountains was constantly changing and filled with danger. It was definitely not safe for them to rush out now.
Song Yan did not even realize they were missing!
Jin Yang hugged Little Yu tightly in fear. He looked at the two boys who were extremely hostile towards him. “I’ll bring you guys to help Mommy, okay?”
Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao stared at him doubtfully and asked, “Really?”
“Of course, the situation on the battlefield has changed because of your help. I have to help her lure the enemy into an ambush.”
Jin Yang gently calmed the children’s emotions by acknowledging their help. At the same time, he called the guards beside him and said in a low voice, “Qiu Tong should have a plan. You guys will coordinate from the front and force the scattered hooligans to the ambush she has set up.”
Jin Yang reminded softly. “Remember, don’t let her team discover you…”
The guards respectfully obeyed the order but could not help muttering in their hearts. When had the president ever cared so much about the feelings of others?
It seemed that this Ms. Qiu Tong held an extraordinary place in the president’s heart!
The mountains were cold at night as a chilly wind blew. Little Yu could not help sneezing. Jin Yang looked down at her, Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao, who were all wearing thin clothes. He frowned and looked for a place to hide nearby. “Let’s go and rest for a while. We’ll wait for Mommy to return.”
Jin Yang found a nearby house and brought the three children in to take shelter from the wind.
Seeing Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao sitting beside Little Yu and protecting her, Jin Yang smiled. He walked to the door to give the children some privacy. He recalled Song Yan’s warning to him. “Qiu Tong hates it when others lie to her…”
Jin Yang’s smile gradually disappeared. He clenched his fists and hammered on the door frame, his breathing heavy and vexed.
“Sir, all the hooligans have already entered Qiu Tong’s ambush. They have cleared the obstacles outside and can retreat at any time.”
“Should we send the children to her?”
The president’s guard ran over and reported. Jin Yang listened to the sounds of gunshots coming from the mountains and knew that the situation outside was not stable. He shook his head and said, “Go find some food and let the children fill their stomachs. We will take action when I give the order.”
Jin Yang turned back to look at the three children who were chatting amongst themselves. He sighed imperceptibly.
“If you didn’t want to forgive me, I won’t appear before you.”
Jin Yang looked in the direction of Qiu Tong’s ambush as he muttered to himself. His disappointed expression quickly returned to its usual coldness and calm.
