In the evening, Qiu Tong returned to her residence. The lights in the villa were switched on, and the children’s laughter could be heard from afar.
She stood quietly in the courtyard, her brows furrowed as she tried to get rid of the complicated and absurd thoughts in her mind.
Ke Le and the mercenaries were out on patrol. They were stunned to see her. They called out. “Boss, you’re back!”
Qiu Xingyu gave a big grin and ran into her arms. She hugged her waist and raised her head coquettishly.
Jin Yang, Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao stood at the entrance. Qiu Tong forced a smile and entered with Little Yu in her arms.
The light in the living room was warm, but her emotions were a little gloomy.
Jin Yang narrowed his eyes and frowned. Sensing the abnormality in her eyes, the two of them maintained a tacit understanding not to talk about it first.
Late at night, the children went to get ready for bed. Jin Yang held her wrist and brought her back to the bedroom.
Outside the window was a tranquil forest. Jin Yang hugged her from behind and placed his chin on her neck. “Don’t keep things in your heart. You can try to rely on me. Believe me. Can you tell me? Where did you go today?”
Qiu Tong closed her eyes and hesitated for a moment before pushing Jin Yang away. She took out the photo and asked, “Do you remember?”
Jin Yang stared at the wrinkled photo. When he realized that the photo was of him and Qiu Tong, his deep eyes flickered with shock.
Qiu Tong stared intently at his expression and knew that Jin Yang was in the same situation as her.
“We both have a blank in our memories. What happened during that time and what our relationship was, we have no idea. Jin Yang, we’re adults. We can’t come to a conclusion just because of this photo. You should understand what I mean.”
Qiu Tong’s voice was trembling, but her tone was exceptionally firm.
Jin Yang’s eyes flashed with pain as he sat by the bed. He felt waves of stinging pain from his temples again. He rubbed his forehead to resist the tugging sensation from the depths of his soul. It was as if some blurry memories were there but always just beyond his reach.
Qiu Tong walked up to him with her head lowered. She placed her hands on Jin Yang’s shoulders and muttered softly, “We can do a more in-depth test on the children. This way, we might be able to distinguish their link to Song Yang… and to you.”
Jin Yang shook his head and rejected her suggestion. Faint lines appeared in the corners of his eyes.
“The children have experienced too many things recently. Their emotions have just stabilized. I don’t want to agitate them anymore.”
“No matter what happened in the past, it won’t affect my decision or judgment.”
“The future is the most important, isn’t it?”
Jin Yang looked up at her, and the determination in his eyes touched her. She used her slender, fair fingertips to caress Jin Yang’s black hair, and the two of them hugged tightly in passion. Jin Yang placed his palm on her cheek and gently kissed her red lips. It was as if he was recounting his deep love for her features as he slowly traced the shape of her lips.
“Ouch!”
A crashing sound was suddenly heard from outside the door. Qiu Tong and Jin Yang looked at each other as they pushed the door open. When they saw Qiu Xingyuan, Qiu Xingqiao and Little Yu running away in a panic, Qiu Tong sighed helplessly. Jin Yang curled his lips and carried her by the waist, using his knees to close the door.
Qiu Tong widened her eyes. She looked at Jin Yang, who was pressing down on her. From the corner of her eye, she saw the wedding photo on the bedside table. A gentle look flashed across her eyes as she responded to his kiss. Jin Yang raised his hand to caress the back of her legs, letting her slowly wrap them around his waist.
Jin Yang’s breathing was a little heavy. He was especially careful to avoid the place where Qiu Tong was injured.
Meanwhile, Qiu Tong took the initiative to unbutton his shirt. The tip of her tongue licked his Adam’s apple charmingly and slowly moved down, repeatedly licking his chest. Jin Yang was naturally unwilling to remain passive. He hugged her and pushed deep into her.
Qiu Tong’s body hung off Jin Yang. She gently hooked her arms around his shoulders. Every second in contact with him brought extreme pleasure and excitement. Jin Yang wrapped his arms around her legs and raised his head to give her a deep kiss. Ambiguous noise sounded in the bedroom.
Qiu Tong looked up. She was a little distracted as she recalled the abnormality in the Qiu family’s old residence. There seemed to be messy traces of dragging and rummaging under the thick layer of dust. Did this mean that someone had searched the Qiu family residence before her? Who were the people hiding behind the scenes? Was it related to Jin Yang?
Jin Yang noticed her distraction and gently bit her soft chest in dissatisfaction.
A numb current swept through her body as she moaned softly. When she saw Jin Yang’s ferocious beast-like eyes, she hurriedly begged for mercy, but it was too late.. Jinyang tormented her until she had no strength left in her body before hugging her in satisfaction.
