Only then did Shi Qian see Ivan’s mother’s wound.
The wound was on her calf, wrapped in gauze.
Andy cut off the gauze. Shi Qian gasped.
The flesh on Ivan’s mother’s calf had been dug out, leaving only a piece of skin.
Moreover, the hole that had been dug out was stuffed with gauze.
Andy took out all the gauze again. The gauze was already soaked. He disinfected it again, stuffed new gauze into it, applied medicine, and bandaged it.
Ivan’s mother quickly thanked Andy and Shi Qian.
“She said thank you. She’ll be able to get out of bed and move around this morning…” Andy couldn’t translate the rest of the sentence.
“You tell her there’s no need to thank me.”
Andy chatted with Ivan’s mother for a while more and was about to leave.
“Shi Qian, I still have a consultation today. Breakfast should be ready. Go and eat something first. I’ve already eaten.”
“Are you alone? Do you need help?” Shi Qian asked softly.
“You can help me if you want.”
“I’ll join you after breakfast.”
“Okay.” Andy nodded.
When Shi Qian returned to her residence, Arthur was already awake, but he didn’t look very energetic. He was sitting on a wooden stake in front of the door with a sumptuous seafood breakfast beside him.
“What were you doing so early in the morning?” Arthur asked softly.
“I was walking around. I’ll come back and eat something first. Later, I’ll help Andy treat the people on the island.”
“What help? Why aren’t you resting? Why are you running around? I asked you to get off the ship to rest, not to do these things.” Arthur’s attitude was much colder than before.
“We weren’t leaving anyway. Now I can’t sleep even if you lock me in my room.”
“Since you’re so energetic, let’s set off now.”
Shi Qian choked and sat down to retort, “I can’t set off today. I’m still a little dizzy. If I set off today, I’ll definitely faint on the ship.”
“It’s not up to you to decide when to set off. It’s up to me.” Arthur got up and left.
Shi Qian looked at his back and couldn’t help but say, “Does this person have a morning temper or something? His personality is too unreasonable and unpredictable.”
Forget about him! It was more important to fill her stomach first.
Shi Qian picked up a roasted lobster and ate it.
After eating her fill, she didn’t see Arthur anywhere. The children were watching her from afar, looking eager.
Shi Qian immediately got up and returned to the house, bringing out a can of candy.
Andy had brought it to her yesterday and said that he had specially left it for her.
As soon as the children saw the candy, they immediately surrounded Shi Qian politely and waited for her to give them the candy.
Shi Qian distributed a few each and put away the candy jar.
The children ate their candy and smiled innocently.
Shi Qian couldn’t help but rub little Ivan’s cheek.
“Ah Yi!” a child called out to Shi Qian, then pointed at the sea.
There were a few small boats approaching from the sea.
The children ran excitedly towards the sea.
Shi Qian didn’t know who these people were, but judging from the children’s behavior, their relatives must have returned from fishing.
She carried the candy jar back into the house.
The sun was already very bright. When she came out again, she had added a shawl and sunglasses.
It had only been a while, but the boats by the sea had already disappeared. Moreover, the children were gone too.
Shi Qian looked around, but there was no sign of Arthur..
