Chapter 125: I, Your Father, am Trustworthy

As it was his responsibility to look after Momo at night, Wu had the girl sleeping on his chest as he spread his senses throughout Konoha. The destruction wrought by Kojin had put him on edge. He was certain he would survive, even if she appeared above the village and unleashed a similarly catastrophic attack, but he had no illusions about what would happen to just about everyone else…

Though he could always revive those closest to him with the Edo Tensei, Wu had enough trouble keeping just Kushina ‘alive.’ There was no way he could produce enough peaches to sustain everyone, so he was seriously thinking about moving them all to Taki. Fu had given him permission to do so long ago, so there was nothing preventing him from converting it into a secret base or a central hub for the ‘resistance.’

Gazing at the sleeping infant drooling on his chest, Wu made up his mind. If something were to happen to Momo, he honestly didn’t know what he would do. All he knew for certain was that he would never be able to feel ‘true’ happiness again…

Presumably sensing the change in his emotions, Kushina softly inquired, “What have you decided?” Tenten hadn’t come by as Wu initially planned, but the burgundy-haired woman wouldn’t allow something like a threat to the planet deter her from being close to him. If he weren’t cradling Momo against his chest, she would probably be sucking his dick even if his mind was elsewhere.

Without footing around the issue, Wu replied, “I’m going to have everyone migrate to Taki. We can’t afford to do things half-assedly with a threat like the Otsutsuki Clan lurking about in the shadows…”

Though she was a little annoyed she would be losing her secret love nest, Kushina didn’t hesitate to supply an approving nod. The Natural Energy in the Hero Tree made it an ideal place for training Senjutsu. It might not be as good as the Three Sage Lands, but it was breathtakingly beautiful and, most importantly, very private.

After kissing Wu on the cheek, Kushina rose from ‘their’ bed, her naked figure immediately drawing the former’s gaze as she said, “I’ll head over and make some adjustments to the barrier and seals. Once you pass over Momo-chan to Lady Tsunade, I’ll be expecting a reward…”

Punctuating her words with a wink, Kushina pulled one of the books from Wu’s bookshelf, revealing a secret compartment on the other side. Then, knowing Wu was looking, she swayed her ass as seductively as possible as she made her way over to the teleportation formulas inscribed on the floor, disappearing in a flash of red light…

Smiling wryly, contrasting the fiery look in his eyes, Wu mused, “I wonder if she even remembers Minato at this point…”

Shaking his head, Wu dismissed such thoughts, closing his eyes to enjoy the rare moment of peace. It was quickly disrupted by the sound of a wet ‘fart,’ followed by Momo waking up cranky, but that was life…

As their morning training had never been called off, most of the girls went about their day as if they hadn’t just learned about the existence of space aliens and the threat they posed. There wasn’t much they could do about it with their current power, so they decided to heed Wu’s advice, focusing on improving themselves rather than fretting over a threat that might not appear for several years.

According to Sasako, Kojin spent several months trying to collect Tailed Beasts before unleashing her Expansive Truth-Seeking Orb. The custodial member of the Otsutsuki Clan was clearly reluctant to use her own power to destroy the world, so they would know she was taking action once the Jinchuriki started disappearing or being attacked.

Until Kojin reared her inordinately pale face, the greater threat to Konoha and the Shinobi World was the Akatsuki, or, more accurately, Black Zetsu. The amalgamated ‘Will of Kaguya’ had been actively attempting to revive her for a thousand years. If it succeeded, they would be dealing with two members of the Otsutsuki simultaneously.

Fortunately, though not for Black Zetsu and the Akatsuki, Sasako had exposed their plan in its entirety. She couldn’t know if things would play out the same way they had in her world, but the general premise was the same. The Akatsuki would attempt to capture the Jinchuriki, starting with Gaara, before moving on to capture successively stronger Tailed Beasts. So long as they could prevent that, Kaguya couldn’t be unsealed, and the ‘Fourth Great Shinobi War’ would never occur.

Though Sasako volunteered to handle the Akatsuki herself, Wu asked her to hold off, arguing that it would be good training for both Gaara and the girls. The former was already ‘very’ powerful despite his young age, so it would take more than a pair of S-Rank Missing Nin to take him out. By the time he returned to Suna, Temari and Kankuro should be around the level of a Kage, so the Akatsuki was in for the fight of their lives if they wanted to capture him.

What Wu did agree to was sharing the information provided by Sasako with the other villages, specifically their Kage. This risked exposing their intentions to the Akatsuki, but Wu didn’t care to keep it a secret. Sasako was confident in defeating the Akatsuki on her own, so there was no way he would fear a group that had never once dared to appear in front of him. If they pissed him off, he would fly over to their Village Hidden in the Rain and deal with the Rinnegan-wielding Uzumaki Nagato himself.

Since it was ultimately up to Wu, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro, Sasako respected their decision to deal with the Akatsuki. What she would be doing in the interim was watching over and training Sasuke, exposing the truth of the Uchiha Massacre and the fact that Uchiha Itachi wasn’t truly a traitor to the village.

As it didn’t really matter to him, Wu gave Sasako permission to do as she pleased regarding Sasuke. So long as she left behind Sarada and the two of them didn’t start fucking in secret, he wouldn’t care even if she decided to take him on a journey to track down and convince Itachi to return. They apparently needed his eyes for Sasuke’s to evolve into a variant called the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, so Wu didn’t care if she began training the wannabe Avenger into a future powerhouse. He was more concerned with the Uchiha that had been ‘entrusted’ to him…

[Flashback-no-Jutsu]

Around the time everyone else was heading out for training, shortly after Wu had passed Momo back to Tsunade, Sarada, prompted by her mother, cornered him in the hallway, bowing as she entreated, “Please take me as your personal disciple. I promise to do my best, no matter what you ask of me…!”

As he had been keeping tabs on Sasako’s movements the previous night, Wu immediately understood what must have transpired, the relaxed smile on his face turning wry as he remarked, “That mother of yours is really something, isn’t she? I honestly don’t mind, but you shouldn’t be forcing yourself right now. Your thoughts are clouded by your circumstances, and the expectations thrust upon you. Take some time to figure out what you ‘want’ to do, not what you ‘think’ you need to do.”

Though she appreciated Wu’s sentiments, Sarada shook her head, her expression a mask of calm as she asserted, “I desire strength, and you can give it to me. My mother explained the situation to me, including the parts about you being in a relationship with most of the girls undergoing your training. I want you to train me even harder than them, so I’m willing to do whatever it takes to ‘ensure’ you’re willing to teach me…”

Putting the raven-haired Kunoichi on the spot, Wu said, “Then turn around and put your hands against the wall…”

Despite the visible trembling of her body, Sarada nodded her head before turning around with mechanical movements. She had anticipated that Wu would do ‘something’ to test her conviction, so she did her best to appear resolute as she stuck out her butt.

Walking up behind the nearly 20cm shorter Kunoichi, Wu reached around to her front, unbuttoning her shorts as he pressed the tent in his trousers against her butt. He had no intention of fucking her in the hallway, but he wanted to see how far she was willing to go to ‘convince’ him.

Though the trembling of her body and jaw increased to the point she had to clench her teeth to prevent them from clattering, Sarada surprised Wu by taking the initiative to wiggle her butt. That was more than adequate to pass his test, but he took things a step further by reaching up to cup her right breast while his remaining hand slipped into the front of her shorts and the simple white panties underneath.

The moment Wu touched her most precious spot, Sarada’s Sharingan activated. Unlike the majority of Uchiha, whose Sharingan activated when they were angry or frustrated, hers had a habit of triggering whenever she felt happy, excited, or flustered. No one had ever touched her the way Wu was touching her, so while her body trembled with anxiety, she also felt a sense of ‘anticipation’ swelling in her chest and abdomen…

Satisfied with Sarada’s response, Wu left the raven-haired lass feeling a hint of loss as he retracted his hands and expressed, “You’re certainly not lacking in conviction. Very well, Sarada. From now on, you’re my personal disciple. To that end, you should know that I subscribe to the ideology of ‘work hard, play hard.’ The harder you train, the more I will feel compelled to ‘reward’ you. Look forward to it…”

Swallowing hard, Sarada replied, “Understood…” Then, as Wu was now her Master, she added, “Lord Senju…”

Shaking his head, Wu clarified, “You won’t be serving me in my capacity as Lord of the Senju Clan. You wanted something more ‘personal,’ so I’ll have you call me familiarly. You’ll still have to obey me, but you may refer to me simply as Wu. No kun, san, or any other honorifics.”

Though it made her feel even more anxious than when she had addressed him as her Lord, Sarada nodded her head and parroted, “Wu…”

Taking advantage of the drastic difference in their heights, Wu caressed Sarada’s head, recalling Sasako’s statement about her being weak against strong and dependable men as he said, “That’s my girl…”

Swallowing a third time, a blush colored Sarada’s face as she lowered her gaze and linked her hands in front of her body. Hearing Wu refer to her as ‘his’ made her feel really…strange. She didn’t know how to describe it, but her heart was beating faster than a startled rabbit’s. When Wu eventually kissed her, she seriously thought it might explode…

..

.

With Sarada standing off to his side, similar to how Shizune stood behind Tsunade, Wu stared at the buxom blonde shoveling food into her mouth across from him.

Though she had been informed of her world’s destruction by Sasako, Kushinada firmly believed they would be able to rewrite fate and restore their world in the future. Thus, after a very brief bout of depression, she made her way to the dining room and had spent the past hour shoveling food into her black hole of a stomach.

After consuming enough food to serve a small banquet, Kushinada leaned back and exhaled a contented sigh as she promptly undid the top button of her trousers. Then, as if someone had flipped a switch in her head, she adoptedly a completely serious expression, leaning forward to stare at Wu as she asked, “Where is the ‘me’ of this world? Before I make my decision, I need to see the kind of life they’ve lived.”

Though Sasako had explained the ‘understanding’ she had reached with Wu, Kushinada wasn’t willing to entrust herself to someone that would let another version of herself suffer. Wu should be around the same age as her counterpart in this world, so she intended to make her decision based on the relationship between the two.

Seeing through Kushinada’s intentions, Wu adopted a relaxed smile as he revealed, “He’s right outside. I’ve been teaching him how to use Senjutsu along with everyone else, so you’re more than welcome to check on him. Just wait until they’re wrapping things up before you approach and try to talk to him. Here in the Senju Clan Compound, we take our training ‘very’ seriously.”

Instead of responding to Wu, Kushinada activated her version of Sage Mode, orange markings appearing around her eyes as her irises shifted from baby blue to yellow with frog-like slits. When she confirmed that a person with Chakra nearly identical to her own was right outside, most of the tensions in her body relaxed. She would still need to speak with this ‘Naruto,’ but she already regarded Wu as someone she could trust. After all, if the version of her from this world trusted him, why shouldn’t she…?
