Chapter 304 Will The Leopard Transform Again?

Chapter 304 Will The Leopard Transform Again?

Chapter 304 Will The Leopard Transform Again?

Just as Su Yang was thinking this, Janet stormed out of the pool, dripping wet as he blocked Su Yang’s path.

He spread his arms wide, eyeing the golden leopard in front of him as he gave off a ferocious, beast-like, growl from the bottom of his throat, “Grrrr...”

Even his left and right cheeks each had three slits, a reaction that was only present when he was emotional.

The last time he had this change was when he was angered by Pan Zhaodi. This time it was clearly because he felt threatened.

Su Yang stood behind Janet, sizing up the leopard in front of him.

The leopard’s streamlined body was graceful and was over three meters long. It was covered in golden fur and the fur dazzled like fine gold under the villa’s light. The edges of its coat seemed to be layered with golden light.

It stood there proudly, the two slender tails behind its bottom slightly wagging slightly. It looked at both of them indifferently despite how Janet was threatening it.

Its demeanor was truly similar to a king that ruled over all beasts.

However, its hair on its body seemed to fade and slowly changed from gold to black before it could be enthused for a moment.

This change in color was rather similar to the process of the crown tattoo changing from gold to black.

The leopard was clearly confused. It looked down at its paws in a panic and found that they were black. Then, it licked them in a hurry, as if two more licks would turn gold again.

From watching how it acted, Su Yang began feeling like the leopard probably didn’t have that high of an IQ after all. As it turned out, the leopard was so cocky earlier because it had golden hair.

To some extend, Su Yang felt that their interactions were rather hilarious.

However, something even more hilarious happened before he managed to laugh out loud.

The body of the golden, no, black panther actually shrank at an exceedingly fast speed. With a blink of an eye, it had turned into a palm-sized, fluffy black kitten that looked rather adorable.

Despite having a pitch-black body, its dark eyes still lit up as they glittered. It occasionally blinked and seemed like it had disappeared from the world when it turned completely black. Still, it looked like it could melt the hearts of anyone who laid eyes on it.

Su Yang wasn’t a person who fancied pets but when he saw this kitten, his eyes lit up. He couldn’t help himself from squatting down so he could reach out and play with the kitten.

However, he didn’t expect that the little kitten was still as agile as when it was a leopard. It straightened its body and raised its head as it opened its mouth while squinting its eyes. Then, it loudly meowed at Su Yang. It sounded like the sound of a child crying without even a hint of fierceness. Instead, he felt like its meow made it that much more adorable.

Su Yang laughed and grabbed the little kitten but struggled to escape his grip. However, Su Yang had it in a death grip no matter how much it struggled. Finally, it gave up and lay quietly in his hands, looking like it had lost all will to live.

Janet felt less threatened as well as his gills disappeared. He glanced coldly at the kitten, gave Su Yang a salute, and turned around to head back to the pool.

Sensing Janet’s disdain, the kitten cried out and was about to fight him to the death, but Su Yang hugged it tighter in his arms so it kept quiet.

Just as it was tossing and turning, the system prompt on its body appeared as well.

(Circus +2: Life Form Advancement. Gained Intermediate Spiritual Intelligence. New internal circus function activated.]

Getting a new function activated was as Su Yang expected. After all, he added points to the circus to activate the new function.

However, how did adding points to a circus end up in a leopard or a cat? Su Yang was a little confused.

“Am I missing something here?’ Su Yang held the small cub in his hand with one hand and jerked at it with the other, slowly recalling the details.

Later, he recalled seeing a black leopard at the entrance of the circus. Then, he recalled seeing a logo of a golden leopard’s head at the entrance as well. ‘Is this the circus mascot?’

After thinking about it, Su Yang thought that he was probably thinking too much. As it seemed, adding points was an inherently random process and if he continued adding points to it, he might end up getting a dog or a bear as well. After all, they were all circus animals.

Su Yang felt that this line of thought was reasonable.

He stroked the fur of the kitten in his arms again, and the kitten meowed as it lay helplessly in Su Yang’s arms.

Su Yang suddenly flipped it over and carefully touched it. It was a female cat.

The little kitten was anxious from being suddenly being violated by Su Yang. As a result, it scratched and bit Su Yang but its newly grown teeth and small paws didn’t even have the slightest amount of power, not to mention Su Yang’s thick skin. Even if Su Yang was scratched, he still had Sanque’s hands to save him.

Su Yang didn’t mind at all as he enjoyed the little kitten’s ‘massage’.

The kitten’s eyes were filled with tears, shame, and anger.

If not for her exceedingly black fur, Su Yang actually felt like it might’ve been red-faced at this moment.

‘Hahaha. Bullying my kitten is so refreshing.’

Looking at Su Yang’s smug expression, the little kitten stared at Su Yang indignantly and hurriedly meowed. As it cried, it turned around and attempted to escape by jumping on the ground. However, Su Yang managed to get hold of it before it ran and dragged it back.

“Meow?” The little kitten was stunned as it looked at Su Yang in shame. With its watery eyes, it’d probably spit at Su Yang in anger while saying, “Can’t you show me some face?!”

Unfortunately for Su Yang, he was shameless. He proudly hummed a song and cradled the little kitten in his arms before falling backward onto the couch.

The little kitten was startled by Su Yang’s sudden fall and sharply meowed. Su Yang, on the other hand, rubbed its head. “Shall I give you a name?” “Meow?”

“Since you’re from the circus... Let’s call you Little Pony!” “Meow?!” The little kitten was anxious.

Su Yang patted it on the head as it shied away. “Alright, alright, I won’t name you Little Pony.”

He pondered. “Seeing how dull you are, how about calling you Dumbo instead?”

“Meow!!!” The little kitten meowed even more.

“Don’t like it as well eh?” Su Yang felt that this little sh*t of a cat was really hard to please. ‘It’s obviously a good name!’

He pulled the kitten’s ears. “Since you’re all black and shiny, how about Blackie? Hehehehe.”

“Meow!!” This name seems to have stepped on the little kitten’s tail. It’s meow was seven octaves higher as it reverberated through his head.

Su Yang covered his ears and looked at the kitten, who was about to go berserk. He gave in. “Okay, okay, don’t get so excited. Since you’re all shiny and golden as well, why don’t I call you Goldy?”

“Meow?” The little kitten had a pensive expression on its face which eventually transformed into a happy meow. “Meow~!”

This time, its meow was much more pleasant.

Su Yang patted its head. “Okay, I’ll name you Goldy then. It has a nice ring to it.”

Goldy didn’t know that Su Yang merely gave it a simple name based on its appearance and happily jumped around on Su Yang. ‘Her little paws stepping on my body is really comfortable. It’s no wonder so many girls like kittens crawling on them!

‘However, this kind of thing can probably only be enjoyed by girls like Qu Xiaomeng. If it’s Chu Xia, she’s probably going to squeeze it to death.

While complaining about Chu Xia, Su Yang hugged Goldy and looked at the Silver Mission he had just received.

As the kind of mission that allowed him to have abilities transcending those of regular people, Su Yang cared a lot about it.

He carefully read through the introduction of the Silver Mission and realized that it was no different than the first one he got. The only thing that changed was the introduction and the figures.

The first Silver Mission required him to earn 1 million while this one required him to earn 10 million.

Based on his experience with the first Silver Mission, it wasn’t referring to the revenue but instead, the net profit after deducting all the expenses.

In other words, if Su Yang were to invest 5 million in a movie that made 6 million at the box office, it’d only count as a 1 million profit.

No matter what investment he made, he’d have to include the cost as well. The hardest part of this wasn’t the amount. With the size of his current company, he could easily make 800,000 every month or almost 10 million a year.

However, the mission required him to achieve this figure within a short two months. ’10 million in net profit in two months, that’s 60 million a year! We’re catching up to a public-listed company.

‘Is the mission referring to this as setting up a foundation? It should refer to it as taking off instead.

‘Every mission is so difficult. How bloody annoying!’

However, Su Yang understood that if the mission was simple, it wouldn’t be referred to as a mission any longer since it could be dealt with immediately.

Su Yang grabbed the little kitten’s hand and waved it around but his brain was moving non-stop.

‘If I want to make 10 million legally, talking or working on it now was probably too late so I’ll have to resort to the projects I already have.

‘Didn’t that online university seem to be able to make money? Can I make 5 million from that? Aren’t my stocks in profit as well? Can we use that... to earn a million as well? “There’s also Sanque’s health product company.’

Su Yang remembered that Pool gave him an account of it in the past. It would make around 700,000 a month and if he went that route, he’d make around 1.5 million over two months. That and 800,000 from Junding would settle 3 million from the mission.

It was close but he would still have to think about many things.

Thinking about that, Su Yang’s motivation returned! ‘I’ll do it for my third silver ability!

Su Yang woke up the following day early in the morning. It was Thursday. He then sent a message to Pan Zhaodi, asked her to stop working today and tomorrow. He wanted her to find a venue where they could make health care products.

He had to use Pan Zhaodi for the two days because she’d have to help out with setting up the healthcare company. The cooldown for the [Lucky Disfigured Slab] would also be done and Su Yang would have to draw three bronze abilities in a row so it was inconvenient for Pan Zhaodi to be there.

After getting Pan Zhaodi’s confirmation, Su Yang sent a WeChat message to Lin Jiali, saying that he was planning a visit.

Since there probably wasn’t a shoot going on in the morning, Lin Jiali replied rather quickly. (That’s great. Good!]

Then, she sent him the address. ‘The first thing I need to do is to take a look at the latest items...’
