Marcus chuckled and ruffled her hair, “Tired, huh? do you want to take a nap?”
Cornelia replied, “Mmm.”
They both went back to her room, where Cornelia said, “I don’t have any pajamas for you, so you’ll have to make do with this clothes.”
Marcus responded, “Okay.”
Cornelia went to the bathroom with her pajamas. When she came out, Marcus was already asleep on the bed.
The air conditioning in the room was turned up high and he didn’t have a blanket. Cornelia was worried he would catch a cold, so she quickly covered him with a blanket.
But as she got close, Marcus suddenly opened his eyes and pulled her into his arms, “Cornelia……”
