Cornelia asked, “Why are you so good to me?”
Marcus replied, “You’re my lawful wife, the spouse on my marriage certificate. If I’m not good to you, who should I be good to?”
Ben listened quietly.
It was like a thunderbolt. Had he misunderstood this whole time?!
He was with them every day and he had no idea Cornelia was the woman Marcus had married two years ago!
