Chapter 207: Middle Meteor Shower Realm, Comprehended Law of Syneresis
Chapter 207: Middle Meteor Shower Realm, Comprehended Law of Syneresis
****
Meanwhile, in a land extremely far away from the Kingdom of Darkness, a man with long crimson hair sat in a lotus position.
He was cultivating inside the same cave he had been in for what felt like an eternity.
"..."
It was at a moment when the full moon reached its peak that Azmodeus abruptly awoke from his comprehension of the Law of Syneresis.
The Law of Syneresis—a High-Starry Law that one was not normally able to comprehend until they reached the Star Radiance Realm, or whatever the equivalent of such a realm was.
It was this very law that Azmodeus attempted and successfully comprehended while still inside the Middle Meteor Shower Realm…
That's right… He had advanced in his cultivation, progressing past the Early Meteor Shower Realm, all because of his comprehension of the Law of Syneresis!
This all went to show just how stupendously overpowered a High-Star Law was for someone not normally able to utilize its capabilities.
It truly is too bad that I'm not able to comprehend more High-Star Laws until I leave the Astral Plane…
Azmodeus heaved a soft sigh.
Although the comprehension of his 3000th Low-Star Law, which also acted as a High-Star Law, was quite an amazing accolade, it still wasn't enough to satisfy the insatiable appetite that he had for more power.
Furthermore, due to the Law of Syneresis being a higher form of coalescence, it caused all of his Low-Star Laws to combine and transform into the singular Law of Syneresis.
This meant that he now only had a single Law to his name…
Unless he ascended to the Starry Expanse and derived the higher forms of all his previous Low-Star Laws, he would forever be left with only one Law!
If he were being honest, that was a rather grim thing to think about…
He was, after all, a hoarder of anything numerical, and for something so amazing to be barred from having a high numerical value was simply unacceptable!
There were many things that went through his head when pondering this matter, but his thoughts were swiftly interrupted by the slamming of his Cave Abode door.
BANG!
Following this loud, almost explosive bang, nearly a dozen girls came rushing into the Cave Abode!
Nao Long was the first one to scan the surroundings with that curious gaze of hers. Then, after finding her target, she leaped through the air!
*Piang!*
She landed in the lap of the peacefully cultivating man as she snuggled her plump butt in its rightful spot. After which, she looked up at the aloof man with expectant puppy-dog eyes.
A dragon… yet also a dog…?
Azmodeus had a peculiar thought pass through his mind as he turned his piercing gaze away from the silly dragon girl.
He found himself observing the equally anticipatory expressions that the various women of his Crimson Dimension were making.
"Do you all wish to know what I was doing in here…?" He asked with a slight shake of the head.
"Yes…"
"Yes!"
"I would like to know."
Yang Hua, Li Na, Bing Nu Shen, You Mei, and the rest gave varying responses, as even Azmodeus's two disciples left their seclusion.
They aimed to understand what crazy stuff their master had done this time.
"..."
Azmodeus knew that he would not be getting away from the women this time around. After all, they knew where he lived…
So, in order to maintain a continuously peaceful cultivation environment, he reluctantly told them about the Law of Syneresis and his immeasurable disappointment in the fact that he wasn't able to comprehend more laws.
Their response to such ludicrous drivel was:
"A monster…" They muttered in unison, immense awe present within their shining gazes.
To be acquainted with a man like him was truly the most mystical thing that ever happened to them, but they didn't know how to properly express their awe…
However, with the next words to come out of his mouth, they seemed to completely forget what it was they were thinking about:
"I seem to have made another breakthrough in my Formation Rune Array Profession, and I need to become acquainted with the new rank. So would you all like some Half-Step Star Radiance Items-?"
Before he was even able to finish voicing his question, all of the women found themselves huddled right up beside him, seemingly wondering why he asked such a silly thing.
"..."
Azmodeus let another sigh escape his mouth.
These lazy bums truly only knew how to leech off of him. But in the end, making stuff for them only served to better progress his diversification when making items for people with varying personalities.
Such a way of improving his professions was far better than making things on a far more general scale. So it truly only benefited him when it came to expending a negligible amount of resources in order to improve his versatility.
It was with such a way of thinking that he got straight to making use of his Half-Step Star Radiance Professions.
He aimed to get everyone up to the current equipment level before he resumed his next cultivation session. Which, at the rate he crafted, should take no more than a few years.
Furthermore, considering that this was in Cave Abode Time, not even a few months would have passed in the outside world.
So it was with an industrious mindset that he concocted, cooked, forged, and inscribed until the equipment level of both himself and the girls was at the current maximum.
Even so, Azmodeus would always create something better for himself, due to the fact that he knew what suited him more than what suited those around him.
His equipment and the girl's may be the same on the surface, but they were nowhere near the same level, for in the right hands, trash could be turned to gold.
And in the case of Azmodeus Crimson, all he yearned for was power and gold, so of course every single one of his equipment pieces would inherit those Traits.
But of course, the one piece of equipment that would forever remain above the rest was none other than Sanguinary—the Scythe bathed in the blood of its enemies!
