Chapter 216: Traitors
Chapter 216: Traitors
...…
It was one of the predominant sinister thoughts of the Sect members that eventually materialized into a concrete plan—a plan that involved not only countless lives but even the massive territory that they ruled over in the Astral Plane.
With such a plan set in motion, a few of the Grand Elders of the Heaven Exploding Sect aimed to take advantage of the situation and kill their Sect Leader while he was in the midst of breaking through.
There were a total of 35 Grand Elders in on this plan to kill their merciless ruler.
Of those 35, over 20 of them were in the very peak stages of the Half-Step Starshire Rank, while the last few were infinitely close to reaching the Early Starshire Rank.
Every single one of these figures was old and wrinkled, had archaic dispositions, and had clearly been around for longer than the universe's lifespan.
Furthermore, they also just so happened to be the conquered Kings, Emperors, and Sect Leaders of a number of Tier 3 Squares.
In fact, some of them were also heroes who transmigrated from Planet Earth, with most of such transmigrators having long forgotten what their lives were like on Earth…
But regardless of their inconsequential memories of a tiny blue rock in space, today they came together with the sole purpose of killing the one who dared to enslave them!

"So, what is the plan here, Senior Kang? Should we just go straight into the Crimson Dimension and take his head right off his shoulders? Or…"
An antiquated voice resounded inside an enclosed pocket dimension that sat to the west side of the Emonius Continent.
Within this location, 35 shadowy figures were centered around a wide, circular table—a table that floated above the ground using something other than Qi or science.
From those 35 shadowy silhouettes, the one who spoke first was known as Elder Gao, and he was one of the weaker among the group, also making him one of the youngest.
On the other hand, the one he was talking to had a gray beard so long that even his shadow-shroud spell was unable to conceal its length.
This very man stepped forth and said, "There is a route that all in existence must take. And for our goals to come to fruition, we must go about this in a conservative way."
"We assume you have something in mind, Elder Kang?" A different figure inquired with a slight vibration of his shadowy shroud.
"Yes… I think I do have something in mind…" Elder Kang's neutral expression turned cruel and sadistic as he sent out his divine sense to a limited degree and saw a divinely beautiful woman with long blonde hair.
"..." "..." "..."
The other Elders honed in on where Elder Kang was looking, as they immediately knew what it was that he wanted to do in order to bring out the one known as the Crimson Emperor.
"But to do this… Wouldn't the Crimson Emperor need to have emotions…?" One of the Elders brought up the question that all of them were thinking about.
At this question, Elder Kang's decrepit figure trembled a little as his cruel smirk grew even wider. "You all may not know this, as you don't get out much, but I oftentimes see the Crimson Emperor catering to the needs of the women he surrounds himself with. They even occasionally go on walks and talk about various things."
He paused for a moment as his smirk touched the edges of both his ears. And it was only then that he continued by saying, "Now, why would he bother himself to do such a thing if he didn't have the smallest modicum of emotion within him…?"
"!!!" "!!!"
The eyes of the Grand Elders brightened up, as they only now realized how subtly soft and lenient their leader was with the ladies of his Crimson Dimension.
Following this realization, they looked toward the sinister Elder Kang and figured this plan might actually have a chance of succeeding…
Now, what was this plan, one might ask?
Well, it was none other than the kidnapping and forceful ra*ing of Chi Wu and any other woman they could find.
The reasoning behind this action was to elicit extreme amounts of rage within the Crimson Emperor, for if they could accomplish that, he would immediately fail his breakthrough and suffer serious backlash.
It would be enough backlash that no amount of godly items could hope to save him before his untimely death turned into a reality.
With these evil thoughts swirling around inside the crooked minds of the Elders, they got right down to it as they licked their crusty lips and blitzed out of the pocket dimension, shattering the Crimson Dimension's elusive barrier in but an instant.
After which, they stretched out their hands, aiming to take away Chi Wu and Li Na with their claw-like palms!
However, before such a thing could occur, two feminine voices devoid of emotion echoed out in the surroundings:
"What fools…"
"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"
In that instant, the Grand Elders felt the fear of death creep up their spines as they saw two women shoot their emotionless gazes in their direction, their spiraling eyes emitting nothing but disdain.
"You truly thought that our husband would be unable to predict that you pesky heroes and washed-up trash would come and kick him down while he's at his weakest?"
Chi Wu watched the arrogant Grand Elders retreat a countless number of miles, as she never could understand why her husband wished to keep these idiots around.
And it was only just recently that she truly understood why they were useful…
"Your memories… My husband says that they are useful, and with all of you here, everything is made a lot easier," she uttered with a voice devoid of emotion, her piercing gold eyes peering into the Grand Elders souls.
"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"
The elders vividly felt their souls being sucked away from their bodies, as nothing was making any sense!
"You aren't supposed to be this strong! So how-!?" Elder Kang was swiftly interrupted by Li Na, saying:
"You fools truly are stupid… How can anyone be this stupid…?" She lightly shook her head before vanishing from her spot, feeling that explaining things to these mentally handicapped people would be too difficult.
Chi Wu heaved a sigh at the take her younger junior sister had on this situation, as she reluctantly decided to explain things herself.
After all, everyone deserves a chance to know why they would be dying…
