Chapter 230: Destroying The Astral Plane, For Loot
Chapter 230: Destroying The Astral Plane, For Loot
...….
"All Hail The Mighty Crimson Emperor—one bathed in the blood of his enemies—The One True Ruler of the Astral Plane!!"
HOOORAAAH!
Passionate shouts could be heard from every corner of the limitlessly large Emonius Continent!
All of the Heaven Exploding Sect Members were back at the Sect HQ on orders of their leader, so such noise was to be expected.
"..."
Azmodeus flipped his apathetic gaze across all those who were once above him in strength. And he would normally feel a sense of happiness... but for some reason, he didn't…
*Ding!* *The host will slowly but surely lose all of his emotions if he continues down the path of Infinite Evolution…*
He recalled the message that the Infinite Evolution System sent him all those tens of thousands of years ago, as a sense of melancholy nearly welled up inside him.
However, it was swished away as quickly as it came, causing a wave of coldness to once again overwhelm his blood-red gaze.
After which, he enlarged Sanguinary and Excalibur. Then, he said in a booming voice, "You all are my loyal subjects. And as such, you would be willing to do anything for me, would you not?"
It took no time at all for everyone in the crowd to go crazy as they screamed in unison, "Yes!!!!"
At this response, a cold gleam flashed past Azmodeus's eyes as he let out a breath of cool air.
*Thud!*
He stood up from his starry throne and uttered, "Very Well…"
SHING!
"Then please kindly die for me."
WAKAZOOOOM!
The whole world split in half, from the ground floor to the center of the plane, all the way up the clouds above!
Scythe arc after Sword Arc were unleashed in every direction of the Emonius Continent!
An untold number of lives were lost with each causal swing. And as Azmodeus's arms started to look like nothing more than erratic blurs, the damage finally registered…
SHING! SHING! SHING!
The continent was sliced up once… twice… thrice… again and again… over and over…
A plot of land that was quite literally boundless, with too many diverse biomes to count, was reduced to perfectly diced-up chunks of earth as all of the zealot sect members died with radiant smiles on their crazed faces…
"This is how it must be. And though you may have been useful for the longest time, your use has unfortunately expired… I have no need for useless tools…"
Azmodeus spoke these emotionless words while swinging around his scythe and long sword.
Not stopping with just the destruction of the Emonius Continent, even the lands below the rapidly falling Continent were reduced to a disastrous state.
WHIZ! WHIZ! WHIZ!
Azmodeus's swings were only becoming increasingly violent as he started to encroach upon the Early Solar Dynasty Realm in Battle Power. And it didn't take longer than a few minutes before he truly did achieve a Battle Power in the Solar Dynasty Realm!
RUMBLE!
Everything in the Astral Plane violently shook!
Intense Astral Winds were produced from every further strike unleashed, resulting in the rapid deterioration of the topography.
Before long, every sliver of residual energy conjured forth universe-sized natural disasters, as tsunamis drowned Square after Square, and violent lighting/fire tornadoes destroyed everything they touched!
…
After a few more hours of exponentially increasing destruction, everything for as far as a Solar Dynasty Realm could see was no more…
The red side of the boundlessly large tic-tac-to board was vaporized, and everything on the black side was left in a state no better than the red side…
However, despite the absolute destruction akin to a super atomic supernova having touched base, there was one plot of land in the midst of it all that was left untouched by the harsh levels of radiation.
Or rather, there was a mountain… a mountain that left a vastly contrasting image when surrounded by death and desolation on all sides.
-
Fallen Immortal Mountain.
After the absolute display of power by the Middle Planet Forger Realm Azmodeus, there was only one thing that remained in the Astral Plane—a life treasure that had been around since the beginning of his journey.
It was this very mountain that housed eight divinely beautiful women, an adorable alien cat, and a crimson-haired man, all of whom were in the process of playing a game of Monopoly.
As the world burned and the Crimson Emperor's Primordial Essence Clones and Mirror Mirages eradicated even the microscopic bacteria, the one who caused it all moved his car piece around a flat game board.
While doing so, he simultaneously looked over his system notifications without a care in the world.
BLING!
*Ding!* *You have killed an immeasurable number of inhabitants inside the Astral Plane!*
*Ding!* *You have destroyed a vast number of treasures, ranging from the Common Rank all the way to the Star Radiance Rank.*
*Ding!* *A good chunk of the treasures you destroyed possessed Traits and Existence Value.*
*Ding!* *You have obtained 4.5 Star Essence Value from all the treasures you destroyed!*
*Ding!* *You have obtained 105 Star Essence Value from all the living organisms you killed!*
*Ding!* *Would you like to Assimilate the Stats or roll for the Abilities of the things you erased from existence?*
"The usual…"
*Ding!* *You have gained 6.5 Star Stat Points in Strength, 8.9 Star Stat Points in Speed, 9.5 Star Stat Points in Defense, and 12.5 Star Stat Points in Qi.*
*Ding!* *Your Battle Power has tremendously improved!*
*Ding!* *You have obtained 40.5 Star Stat Points in Strength, 37.6 Star Stat Points in Speed, 42.5 Star Stat Points in Defense, and 55.8 Star Stat Points in Qi.*
*Ding!* *Your Battle Power has drastically improved!*
*Ding!* *You have received a countless number of Physique's and Traits from all the beings and items you erased. Would you like to Assimilate them into your existence?*
Azmodeus was surprised that he could acquire additional loot from all the treasures he destroyed, but he still swiftly responded, "You can set the item acquisition rates to 'The Usual', same as you did with living organisms."
Following this request, a bright blue and golden light flashed as a number of pop-ups materialized in thin air.
