2497 Winds of Change! I
The illusory image of the cherry colored Indefatigable Perennial Yggdrasil of Extremity remained stretched out around the Aletheian Havens of the Infinite Hyperversal Haven.
The group of Apex Aeonic Lifeforms around Aurelia and Orion felt many things when gazing at it as one of them spoke at this moment.
"Is this why you didn't oppose him when he accepted an Apex War of Annihilation?"
The voice of this Apex Aeonic Lernaean was not directed to a particular being, and yet all eyes and Wills became focused on Aurelia as they knew to whom these words were directed to!
The strongest of the Apex Aeonic Lernaeans.
The one who had used her Forge to aid most of those here to reach the heights they now held.
The one who held more Extreme Power than any one of them- and the one who had contributed the most on keeping the dreadful enemy who attacked them until they ran into the battle that the Wrathful Quintessential Hyperversal Demon Emperor was waging against Noblesse!
The other Apex Aeonic Lernaeans didn't say a word when all of their lives were put on the line because she didn't! But as the atmosphere calmed and they truly realized what was ahead of them, they couldn't help but ponder.
And Aurelia…
"I was not opposed to the decision of the man who now shoulders all Lernaeans. You all still haven't gotten the chance to grasp how crucial he is. The Apex War was already set in stone anyways as now…we just have to survive it."
…!
Her golden hair shone with radiance as Orion quietly watched the illusory cherry colored tree illuminating the stellar expanse.
But even with her words…there were still voices of logic that rang out!
"But an Apex War of Annihilation is one of Complete extinction and death. Our numbers are lesser, the Nobility have the Genesis Institute of Extremity behind them as their Elders were even there in person. We…we only have our fractured forces as the Cult of Endless Shadows didn't even show up, even now we don't know if they will support us by sending any forces. We would need a heavy and powerful force of a powerful Inheritance of Extremity to survive such a war as no matter how powerful a single being is…he is just one man."
WAA!
A man garbed in a light blue robe shared the hidden thoughts of many of the less than a dozen Apex Aeonic Lernaeans here as they didn't know much about the Master of the land they were in apart from what they had seen prior!
As if emboldened by the thought of their certain deaths in the coming war, a woman with dazzling red hair spoke up next.
"He alone took down two Apex Aeonic Lifeforms, yes. He even seems to hold an Absolute Dynamis of Extremity. All of these are unbelievable achievements while he hasn't even undergone Apexification…but Sis Aurelia, that truly isn't enough to stand against tens of Apex Aeonic Lifeforms. Because that is likely what we'll face…especially the Elders and Grand Elder of the Genesis Institute of Extremity. I do not know why you have an unyielding belief in him, but in three days, even if he successfully undergoes Apexification…how will this give us even a high percentage of probability of coming out of this alive?"
"..."
A heavy atmosphere settled amidst all of this blinding radiance as the eyes of many Apex Aeonic Lernaeans showed their fear and hesitation!
The more they thought about it, the more it seemed like they were just thrown into a war to be butchered and destroyed along with all Lernaeans!
At such a juncture, Aurelia turned and gazed back at all of them with a sneer.
"This is why I stayed away from you lot. Weak with no damn backbone!"
WAA!
"What would you have had me do? Exclaim he wasn't part of the Lernaeans and deny this Apex War of Annihilation when he was just enthroned as Emperor and saved us? Or will you all run away now before the war even comes in fear? Intention you betray to the Nobility or other factions? Unless you have an plan worth a single shit, just stand back and shut up while we try to figure out this whole damn situation!"
…!
Anger and disappointment could be felt in her voice as below them, Maximilian and other Reverend Lernaeans watched on silently.
They came to understand the whole fate of their Lineage hung in the balance!
—
Outside of the Aeonic Haven of Dissolution.
In a small corner within the Aeonic Haven of Genesis.
Near the Domains of the Genesis Institute of Extremity.
Rivers of reality created a floor that stretched out beautifully, these rivers falling down like waterfalls atop the peak of one of the many mountains in this area that shone with a majestic light.
This particular mountain was an abode reserved for a Grand Genesis Elder and the forces placed under him!
Around the peak of this mountain, stellar liquified streams of essence surged as snaking rivers of reality could be seen beautifully rising and falling every now and then.
It was a mystical and wondrous abode as towards the center of the mountain peak, above the floor made of rivers of reality, two powerful Supreme Divine Entities could be seen sitting.
Between them, a stellar board holding rounded white and black pieces could be seen as they seemed to be playing a game, and yet one could sense the authority of multiple Extreme Power coursing around every piece on the board as just moving one required the opposing being to lose in a contest of authority!
The two beings sitting opposite to each other were two men in their prime, one being the master of this mountain and adorned in a white robe as the other held a radiant violet robe- his voice echoing out calmly.
"I thought the commotion that the unknown Scion is causing in the Aeonic Haven of Dissolution was enough to get a few Inheritances buzzing…but now there's also an Apex War? And you guys are involved in this as well? What's really happening, Demetrius?"
The violet robed being stroked his chin as he spoke of the messages sent over by the Scions of Inheritances in the Extremity Vein of Dissolution who came across the dreadful being who massacred a few hundred Scions and got off scot-free!
A few squadrons from the Genesis Institute of Extremity were even among them as the situation was extremely peculiar.
The white robed Grand Genesis Elder smiled as he replied while ushering his authority to move a white piece on the board.
"Oh yes, my dear friend Ophyr. Our communication channels have been lighting up with this as uniquely, it's being found out by those who tracked him since he entered the periphery of the Extremity Vein of Dissolution and from the accounts of aboriginals there…that he is an aboriginal tied to some weak Lernaean Lineage. And now this Apex War that Meiying has told us about…it also involves Lernaeans as from the images she's sent over and what our surviving Scions have sent over, it seems the same being is involved in both incidents!"
