Chapter 385 - A Lich! Ancients! Cthulhu!
In the expansive underground space bubbling with extreme heat, a storm of essence was ravaging all around as numerous skills were manifesting in a grand fashion!
The most ill.u.s.trious one was a dark bubble of blood that continued to expand around the wide underground cavern for miles, covering almost every inch of it as the function of hiding whatever was happening in this cave hidden from prying eyes.
[Dawn of the Blood Lord] was the next most eye-catching one, a foreboding miniature moon appearing at the highest point of the cavern as it began releasing a dominating red light that gave numerous buffs to the caster while giving debuffs to the opponent!
But the two skills that caused the most pressure were the transformation abilities that allowed the clone to take on the form of something monstrous. The first transformation was something obtained from the upgrade of [Blood Lord] and opening the path to the [Kin of the Ancients] skill tree, it was [Ancient Blood Scion].
[Ancient Blood Scion] (5/5):: Take on the form of the scion of blood and rain down destruction on those that oppose you. This form allows you to heal 30% of all damage dealt and received, increase Physical and Elemental Damage by 100%, as well as enhance all the abilities of [Blood Lord] by 30%.
A transformation that allowed for the passive healing from 30% of the damage he received, as well as the damage he dealt! This wasn’t to even mention the boosts to all the other abilities of the [Blood Lord].
The form caused the clone to rise to the level of a giant, regal red vampyric wings erupting from his back as a gorgeous set of silver hair overflowed, his face taking the features of a humanoid bat as he rose above 10 meters.
Yet...above that and going overboard, [Lesser Cthulhu] was cast as another transformation ensued, the baleful destructive power of Aether covering the clone’s body as the size continued to increase, another set of wings erupting out as tentacles and feelers accompanied numerous grotesque eyes, the look of a terrifying creature with four wings, multiple pairs of eyes with differing colors, as well as overflowing shimmering silver hair came to life.
Yet again, this wasn’t enough! On top of this, numerous [Empyrean Guards] became streaks of light as they went on to change into a regal golden robe that attached itself to the grotesque figure, an enormous sword and shield appearing on its huge hands as palpated with the power of the Law of Fate! In front of the eyes of the DRaconic Fire Behemoth, a grotesque creature made from multiple transformations layered with a ridiculous number of skills made its appearance.
But once more, this didn’t seem like enough so another skill was cast, this time a summoning ability that called forth beings that Noah did not fully understand yet!
[Summon the Ancients] :: Your call travels through space and time as you call forth the Ancients that are bound by blood. Limit: 3 Ancients
RUMBLE!
A unique runic sigil spread out in the surroundings as the maddened dragon felt an air of ancientness permeate the surrounding space, a grey light shining through as it covered the appearance of unique beings that very few had the chance to see in the Light Expanse.
SHAA!
Three beings appeared around the still transforming clone, the only thing that one could use to describe them being one word- enormous!
Their sizes overshadowed the transformed Noah, and actually neared the huge size of the Draconic Fire Behemoth! Their bodies looked grey and stoic, adopting a humanoid form as they were garbed in old grey robes. From their back, a shining pair of dark wings folded beautifully as they granted these beings a unique outline Noah had not come across before.
The Ancients were actually humanoid in shape, and they held powering wings behind them! Their eyes were fully white as they eerily turned towards Noah the moment they were summoned, these white eyes scanning the figure of the clone up and down as they actually paid it no heed, their gazes actually turning in a completely unexpected direction of the cavernous underground space, peering through the cast [Blood World] and the layers of earth as they were directed towards the direction of the Sanctum.
Noah’s real body that was moving with the Righteous Fire Exploration Team became shocked as his gaze turned, and he felt the eyes of the three Ancients standing beside his clone below the volcanic mountain were staring straight at him!
[--------]
They scanned Noah’s real body up and down with gazes that traveled far, Noah hearing some form of static voices in his mind as he could make nothing of it. After a few seconds, their gazes left his real body and began turning their blank faces away from the direction of the Sanctum as Athena looked at the surprised Noah.
"Everything okay, Junior Brother?"
"Ah, yes. I spaced out there for a second. Let’s catch up with the others."
Noah’s real body continued his movements with the Righteous Fire Exploration Team as his heart shook, the beings called Ancients still being something he did not fully understand!
In the underground space, the enraged Dragon finally adopted a careful expression at the appearance of these three unique beings that were letting out an air of desolation, their eerie blank faces and white eyes now turning to look towards it.
As the Draconic Fire Behemoth finally took the enemy in front of it like a possible threat, the Arch Lich Ra’Zan finished casting his necromantic spells as he summoned two Abyssal Death Knights, two Abyssal Jiangshi, and two Abyssal Revenants.
An energy of death spread in the surroundings as shockingly, an entire army had appeared around the Ancient Blood Clone in less than a minute, the levels of power of each of the beings summoned standing powerfully at the Soul Forging Realm, with some of them even letting out unique desolate auras that made one do a double take!
The enraged Draconic Fire Behemoth looked at all of this as its gaze ignored every single one of the newly summoned beings and locked on Noah again.
"Ugly little worm. You come to my abode, try to steal from me, then you insult me, and now after summoning these creatures...you still think you are leaving from here alive?"
The voice of the enraged dragon rang out as Noah looked towards its apathetically, only his rapidly beating heart showing the excitement he felt as he pointed the golden sword he held forward, initiating the start of a wild battle as the forces he summoned began to move forward!
ROAAAAAR!!!
The roar of the dragon was the only response as storms of flames began to permeate through the air, the monstrous Behemoth finally moving to attack!
