Chapter 385 Cursed! Curse Again! Curse Some More!
Chapter 385 Cursed! Curse Again! Curse Some More!
William suddenly came up with an idea.
If I can't kill him, I might as well make him suffer as much as possible! He thought as he channeled a massive amount of Curse Mana to his fingertips.
The Curse Element was an incredibly niche Element that had only a few effects but could be incredibly powerful if used correctly. The only problem was that the Curse Element was somewhat painful to use, since powerful Curse Spells would backlash on its caster.
This was the main reason why William hadn't used Curse Magic very much up until now. That and the fact that his other Spells were more than suitable enough to handle any issue thrown at William.
Now, however, was the best time to use Curse Magic. According to the System, as long as William followed three rules of the Curse Element, he could achieve incredible things.
The first rule was that the speed of casting a Curse Spell could not be sped up no matter what. While there might be a way to bypass this in the future, William didn't have the ability to do so yet.
The second rule was that Curse Magic could only affect those that William had line of sight of and that weren't concealing their aura. If William's Curse Spell couldn't attach to an aura, it would have no effect when cast. It didn't matter if the Cultivator concealed their aura after the Spell was cast, but it must be displayed when assigning the target of William's Spell.
The last and most important rule was related to the Spell's efficacy. The strength of the Curse Spell could be magnified immensely the longer the Spell was channeled, but the stronger the Spell, the greater the backlash on its caster.
Despite this, William was able to follow all three rules no problem. William had five minutes to cast his Spell, which was more than enough time, and Juhi was an arrogant individual that hadn't bothered to conceal his aura from the start.
As long as William could handle the backlash of his Spell, he could make it as powerful as he wanted it to be.
But what effects should I add to the Spell? William thought. He had many options, from a Suppression Curse that would reduce Juhi's combat power by a large amount, or a Blood Curse that would weaken Juhi's bloodline while the Curse was active.
He could even perform a Fertility Curse, making Juhi unable to have children for the rest of his life. Depending on the individual, this would be a hard enough blow to cripple one's mentality.
It's not enough. I want him to really suffer. No one hurts Atticus and gets away with it. If he's going to live, I'm going to make sure he doesn't want to live! William decided as he used the full capacity of the Artifact Belt to grant him additional Mana Regeneration.
-Mana: 9799/9800
My Mana Regeneration Talent and the Artifact Belt kept me at my peak for the entire fight, but it's time to see how far we can actually go! William thought while adding massive amounts of Mana to his Curse Spell.
In his hands, a dark black and purple orb formed slowly, increasing in size while a thin line attached itself to both William and Juhi's heart.
First, I need to target his main body. For that, let's focus on the soul. William added a Curse of Soul Ensnaring, which would reveal Juhi's real position to William at all times. He wasn't sure if it would work between Realms, but the moment he Ascended William planned to track down this Juhi.
Next, William targeted the soul again with a Spell Transference Curse. This was the most powerful of all the curses that allowed William to transfer the effects of a single Spell across any distance, the downside being that William would be affected by his own Spell.
For this, William was smart and decided to send over a small amount of Soul-Sapping Necrotoxin from his Poison Elemental Form. After layering the Spell Transference Curse a few hundred times, William would be able to trigger the curse once a month.
Since William was completely immune to the Soul-Sapping Necrotoxin, the backlash of this Spell would have no effect on him at all. He moved on to target the body, Cursing Juhi to always be fully erect, unless he was sexually stimulated, in which case he would be completely flaccid. Experience tales at empire
In meetings, this would probably be incredibly awkward. Even worse, if Juhi managed to have a relationship while affected by all these Curses, he'd find himself in yet another awkward situation. At that point, it might be better for Juhi to consider seppuku.
Even the System applauded William's devious actions, waves of laughter reaching William through their mental connection. It watched with glee as the number of Curses caused William's Spell to become the size of half a kilometer, the spectators fleeing in fear as they didn't want to risk getting caught in the aftereffects.
He wasn't done yet, though. William added a Curse of Weakness to the Spell, which would weaken the resistance of Juhi's body by around twenty percent depending on how effective the Curse was.
Next, William added one final Curse, which was guaranteed to make Juhi regret ever offending him. Using the remainder of William's Mana, he copied his own aura and added it to Juhi in a Curse. If William made any more Ascended enemies, Juhi would be the first to pay.
I don't know exactly how many Ascended enemies I've made, but just the Heavens alone are enough to scare someone. That Juhi is not going to have a good time. William laughed as he sent the Curse Spell flying towards his opponent.
Space warped as a massive ball of Curse Mana traveled incredibly slowly towards Juhi. If the man wasn't suppressed by dozens of Elements and forced into the Dream World, William's Spell would have had no chance of landing.
The moment the ball of Curse Mana hit Juhi's body, it shrunk in size by dozens of times and merged with Juhi, the old Cultivator grunting in pain but seemingly uninjured.
When William sensed his own aura emanating from Juhi, William knew his Spell was effective. He watched as Juhi was turned into a tiny golden light by an unknown force, floating into the sky and entering the Ascension Portal with no signs of returning.
William closed his various Domains, causing the Eternal Tribulation to reappear and strike him with Heavenly Lightning, but he smiled.

Endless System Notifications flooded the text box in the corner of William's view, but he wasn't frustrated. In fact, William smiled upon seeing that his opponent was already trying to recover without any luck.
