Chapter 368 Alone

Chapter 368 Alone

Kevin and Kelly hugged at the intersection for more than ten minutes before Kevin prepared to return.

On the way back, Kevin received a phone call. "Hello, who is it?" Kevin asked, but the person did not say anything. Finally, he sighed and hung up the phone. Kevin frowned. He could tell that it was a woman. "It's inexplicable. Who called me during the Spring Festival and didn't say anything?" Out of curiosity, Kevin called back. The person picked it up, but did not say anything.

"Who are you? Why did you call me and answer without saying anything?" A few seconds later, the person said indifferently, "Nothing." Kevin was stunned. From the sound of her voice, she could already tell who she was. "It's you." Kevin said in surprise. "You actually know me."

"Amanda, it's the Spring Festival. Why are you calling me?" Kevin said angrily. "I accidentally pressed the wrong button. I'll hung up." The person hung up immediately. Kevin's heart skipped a beat. Could it be that he spoke too fiercely and she hung up the phone so quickly? At this moment, in a private room in a hotel in London, a beautiful girl with an extremely beautiful appearance and a temperament like frost was sitting at a table alone. She was Amanda, the killer with nocturnal eyes.

Amanda was alone. She looked at the fireworks outside the window and muttered to herself, "It's the New Year again. Why did I choose to come here? Why did I call him? I'm already used to eating alone, shopping alone, sleeping alone and celebrating the New Year alone, isn't it?" Amanda picked up a glass of wine and said to herself, "Happy New Year." And she drunk it up. Amanda left the clan at the age of fourteen.

Because she was betrothed to a trash from a stronger clan, she ran away unwillingly. She had never returned since then, because her parents had long since passed away. That clan no longer attracted her at all. She was lonely and had no friends. No matter what she did these years, she was alone. Sleeping, eating, walking, getting sick and celebrating the New Year, all by herself.

Until a while ago, she accidentally met Kevin and discovered that Kevin was actually the trash fiance she had betrothed when she was fourteen years old. Amanda did not know why she chose to come to London and called Kevin. However, she felt that there was no need to make the call, so she sighed and hung up.

Kevin was on his way home and felt surprise when he received a phone call from the beautiful assassin.

Kevin didn't have any friendship with her. Kevin thought for a moment and thought to himself, "Well, for Dora's sake, go and find her. Perhaps she has something to ask me for help, but she is too embarrassed to say it." Kevin called back again. Unfortunately, Amanda did not answer. "It was strange, why didn't she answer the phone?" Kevin dialed again. "Sorry, the number you dialed has been turned off."

"Holy shit." Kevin couldn't help but curse. He had never seen such a woman before. Kevin wanted to help her out for the sake of Dora, but she didn't answer the phone and turned it off.

"Holy shit, what kind of woman is this?" Kevin was too lazy to care about her and went straight home. A few minutes later, when Kevin was passing by a hotel, he looked up and saw a woman standing by the window on the third floor of the hotel. She looked at the fireworks outside and did not know what she was thinking.

"Holy shit, what a coincidence." Kevin was speechless. It was the assassin Amanda. Kevin parked his car by the side of the road and entered the hotel on the side of the road. "Tok tok tok." Kevin knocked on the door of a private room.

A moment later, Amanda opened the door and saw that Kevin was stunned. She thought that he was a hotel attendant. Kevin wanted to ask her why she didn't answer the phone and turned it off. However, he saw that there was a table of dishes on the table in the private room, and there was

only one bowl. Kevin felt a little sympathetic when he saw her alone and homeless during the New Year, so he didn't want to question her.

"You celebrate the New Year alone?" Kevin asked.

"How did you find this place?" Amanda did not answer Kevin but questioned him instead. "Coincidentally, I happened to be passing by on the main road below. I saw you standing in front of the window. However, you're not nice. You turned off the phone and you didn't answer the phone." Kevin said.

Amanda did not say anything else. Kevin looked at the table and asked, "Have you eaten so much by yourself?" Amanda looked at Kevin and asked, "Is there anything else you need?"

"Holy shit, you're driving me away. Amanda, you're too strange. The first time you almost shot me, I didn't bother with you. Last time, I went to save you. Tonight, you inexplicably called me. Now that I'm here, you actually gave me an expulsion order. You're too impersonal."

"Sorry, I don't want to talk to you." Amanda said guiltily. Kevin was telling the truth and he had indeed saved her.

"Alright, I thought you were calling me for help. Now, it seems that you're celebrating the New Year alone and don't have any friends. You want me to come over to accompany you?" Kevin said. "No." Amanda immediately retorted. "Since that's not the case, then why are you calling me? Furthermore, you actually remember my phone number. There doesn't seem to be any friendship between us, right? I really can't see through you."

"If there's nothing else, you can leave now. I'm going to have dinner." Kevin took out a set of dishes and chopsticks from the cabinet of the private room and smiled, "It's potful of you to celebrate the New Year by yourself. I'll accompany you for the New Year. I did it for Dora's sake."

"No need." Amanda said, but Kevin had already sat down.

Amanda did not say anything else. Kevin poured himself a glass of wine and said, "Come on, have a drink. Don't be stunned." Amanda expressionlessly raised her wine cup and drank it all in one gulp without saying anything.

Amanda put down her wine glass and watched Kevin eat the dishes on the table without any politeness. This was the first time someone had accompanied her to celebrate the New Year in recent years. Suddenly, she felt a little warm. Perhaps, Amanda would somehow come to London, perhaps it really had something to do with Kevin, because she knew in her heart that Kevin was originally her fiance.

She no longer had a home, and her former fiance was in London, so she felt that she should come here.

"Why are you looking at me all the time? Let's have the dinner." Kevin raised his head and said. Amanda hurriedly lowered her head. She actually looked at Kevin in a daze. Kevin thought to himself, "Could it be that this killer sister secretly loves me? Otherwise, why did she come to London to celebrate the New Year? Why did she call me? She just looked at me in a daze.

Sigh, if a person is too outstanding, he's really easy to attract the attention of the elegant young idlers. Even such an indifferent killer sister is attracted by me."
