Chapter 128: Sovereign Arcanum Academy Part-3
Chapter 128: Sovereign Arcanum Academy Part-3
The first row consisted of ten large cushioned seats reserved for the Chosen Ones, namely the Arcane Kings and Queens. The first five seats were designated for the Arcane Queens, while the next five were for the Arcane Kings.
Following them, the second and subsequent rows were occupied by those who had earned their place through hard work and dedication... and didn't give a shit about anything in their life in order to enter this prestigious Academy. These were the students who had toiled relentlessly, cracking the entrance test with flying colours to secure their spots at the Academy.
Each student took their seat based on their rank and the marks they had scored in the rigorous entrance examination held just a month prior.
As for Aether.... Well, he, of course as a Servent, was confined to entering and standing in the corner just like the other nobles' servants.
Timmy stood a little far away from him.
"Sigh, I want to leave..." Aether thought, clearly uninterested in the proceedings. The grandeur of the ceremony and the significance it held for others didn't resonate with him.
"Ahem, Silence, Please!" The command from the podium brought everyone's attention to the front.
A group of people, consisting mostly of professors, appeared, and in their midst stood a middle-aged man who seemed to be overseeing the event with a critical eye.
"Good!" The middle-aged man nodded approvingly at the students before him. His gaze lingered a moment longer on the first row, which only had six occupants. A flicker of disappointment crossed his face as he noted the discrepancy.
He then turned his attention to the row behind, finding it appropriately filled with diligent students, 'Some people don't even realize the privilege they've been given,' he thought to himself, his annoyance palpable.
Clearing his throat, he addressed the assembly without using any microphone... His voice echoed everywhere, "The chosen ones need to attend this ceremony promptly, just like the others. We have 15 minutes before the Principal arrives."
The air was filled with murmurs as the students who had worked hard exchanged glances and whispers about the upcoming ceremony.
Princess Aqualina glanced to her side and noticed a dark red-haired woman wearing sunglasses inside the stadium.
She sighed and shifted her gaze to the person sitting beside the red-haired woman.... a girl with golden hair and golden eyes.
Turning her attention to the two empty seats, Princess couldn't help but think, 'Something fun is going to happen....' Her anticipation sparked with curiosity.
Kai, on the other hand, found himself in an interesting...
"Hello, my name is Leon," the blue-haired boy introduced himself, his curiosity evident as he looked at Kai.
"H-Hello, my name is Kai Frostblade..." Kai replied with a smile, trying to match Leon's enthusiasm.
"Frostblade? You mean that Frostblade!" Leon's eyes widened in shock as recognition dawned on him.
"Yes, my grandfather is Mortimer Frostblade!" Kai confirmed, glancing briefly at the person sitting beside Leon... a boy with dark brown hair and golden eyes who seemed lost in his thoughts focused on the podium.
Noticing Kai's glance, Leon turned to the dark-haired boy and introduced himself again, "Hello, my name is Leon."
The dark brown-haired boy took a moment to snap out of whatever he was thinking and looked at Leon with a small smile he replied, "Sorry for the late reply, My name is Finnian Sunfire"
"Apostle?" Leon's face lit up with excitement at the title, his interest piqued.
"Yes," Finnian Sunfire nodded.
Leon was just about to ask more when the middle-aged man interjected with a note of pity in his voice, "It seems none of them are coming..."
The murmurs faded as everyone focused on the podium as they saw a black whirlpool appeared...
"sssshhhh"
"Welcome, Principal!" The group of professors immediately bowed as a portal opened suddenly.
The atmosphere grew tense as everyone fell silent, watching a figure slowly emerge from the portal.
'Step'
An old woman wearing a dark green dress emerged, her presence commanding respect and attention.
Every student stood up and bowed with respect, even the chosen ones lowering their heads before the Principal of the Sovereign Arcanum Academy.
"Raise your heads, children," The old woman said with a gentle, grandmotherly voice, as if speaking to her beloved grandchildren, instilling a sense of warmth and familiarity amidst the grandeur of the occasion.
Everyone smiled and looked at the old woman, her wrinkles a testament to her years, yet she carried herself with undeniable presence... But to Aether...
'Damn! Principal?.... She must have been one hell of a woman when she was young,' Aether thought as he observed her.
Actually, When Aether saw her coming... He felt some kind of attraction... and uneasiness?
He thought his log would fuck him off by selecting her as his target since he himself knew that was not going to happen but still, he kind of attracted to her.
'Shit!! Really! I am attracted to this old woman... What the fuck is happening to me?' He really wondered forgetting the truth that she looked like GILF! and his inner desire that had been started to show out... slightly causing this.
But let's be real she was even beautiful and... Kind of sexy...
'FUCK!! Don't do anything unnecessary bastard!!' Aether shouted inwardly to stop his unruly and unethical thoughts.
But then again, targeting an old lady wouldn't be the most shameful thing, would it? Besides, if he had encountered her in her prime, in her 30s or 40s, he might have been tempted to try his charm on her, not just for the mission, but because she still had a certain allure even now. That's all it was, he reasoned.
Even a simple kiss might give her a heart attack and end her life... He didn't want responsible for the old lady's death.
This shows his readiness for an unknown future and acceptance of his fucked up life.... Don't judge him!!!
Aether then attempted to glance at the professors standing behind the principal, but the lighting and his position in the corner made it difficult to discern their identities.
"Sigh... So I will be with teenage girls and the old lady hereafter... sigh," Aether muttered to himself, feeling tired already.
"Hmm? Where are the remaining chosen children?" The Principal asked with a wrinkled frown as she looked at the empty first-row seats.
The professors lowered their heads, understanding the situation without needing it to be spoken aloud.
"Sigh... Young children nowadays don't respect their elders," the Principal remarked with a sad expression.
"P-Principal, if you want, I will bring them," the middle-aged man offered, his face showing concern.
"Hmmm..." The Principal simply regarded the man before turning her attention back to the students who had worked hard to enter the academy, all present without a single absence.
"So, you think you are above everyone... ah," she mumbled with a stern face, her disappointment evident.
The Principal then looked at Sky, her weak and wrinkled eyes suddenly flashing with energy as she spoke with an emotionless tone, "You fucking chosen brats!!"
The entire five worlds seemed to tremble as everyone heard the Principal's voice.
"If you don't come within five fucking seconds... I am gonna fucking kill you and along with your fucking empire, You hear me Fucking Brats!!!"
"Shhhhhh," The entire Academy trembled at her soft and indifferent voice, but the tremor didn't stop there; it spread to every empire.... more like every world!
There was no gentleness in her eyes now... She looked complete demon ready to slaughter them!!
In Aquaris Empire,
Empress Marisandra, who was drinking her tea with a thoughtful expression, couldn't help but mutter after hearing the Principal's voice, "Those guys really pissed her off... They are going to suffer now.... ahah," while shaking her head and continuing to create a plan to make Aether blush, her mind buzzing with mischievous ideas.
Anyway,
'I take it back!' Aether, who was watching this scene unfold (Demon) with wide eyes, screamed inwardly, 'I FUCKING TAKE IT BACK! She is more alarming and dangerous than anyone I have seen so far!'
He could feel his body being pressed by her mere anger!!
"Even long night rough pounding won't break her, much less cause a heart attack. Thank goodness she's old," Aether said with a mixture of dread and relief, thanking the heavens for the Principal's age. Otherwise, he was fucking sure his log would have selected her as his target!.... Just to fuck his life.
'Sigh... So many 'Fuck' now...' He sighed hearing a principal saying those words.
!~Ding~!
[Survival rate: 7.4?%]
Aether, due to shock, mumbled a little too loudly, though others might not have heard him clearly amidst the commotion...
"What did you say?" The Principal suddenly looked in Aether's direction, her gaze sharp and piercing.
'Fuck!'
