Chapter 159

Chapter 159

Splat! [Critical Hit 17x]

Hiro swung his sword like a madman while NPC Fred looked very overwhelmed in positioning his sword, which he used as a shield.

Splat! [Critical Hit 18x]

Even though the critical hit from NPC Fred’s sword wasn’t as big as the damage Hiro’s sword that managed to hit his body directly, at least… The stack combos that had been collected continued to increase and the combos didn’t stop.

Hiro only hoped that his last hit combo would hit the NPC’s body.

Splat!

“Hiyat!!”

Resisting the bombardment of attacks from a person swinging a greatsword like swinging a light wooden stick was no easy feat. NPC Fred was being pushed back by Hiro, and the man almost dropped his sword.

Hiro jumped forward as the Blood-Eater vampire’s blade flashed a purplish glow.

“Eat him.”

Splat!

Whoosh!

Clank!

Hiro used his sword to blow NPC Fred’s sword vertically, making the NPC Fred’s sword fly away from its master. Meanwhile, the tip of Hiro’s blade managed to scratch the front of NPC Fred’s body. It pierced through the iron armour the man was wearing, blood spurting out like a fountain. Just a single scratch was enough for the Blood-Eater Vampire’s unique skill to do its job.

NPC Fred still stood on his two legs. His hand moved to press the wound, which was still oozing blood. Yet, he still had a bit of HP left, and it was enough for Hiro to try out his newest martial art movement.

Hiro kicked the back of NPC Fred’s hand hard before leaping forward. He used both hands to stand up while his two legs splendidly hit hard on the bottom of NPC Fred’s jaw twice.

Bang! Bang!

[Acrobatic Blitz]

NPC Fred collapsed backwards with his nose bleeding profusely, while Hiro turned his body back to stand on his two legs.

Ding!

[NPC Fred has been defeated]

[You have successfully cleared stage 3 advancing job class]

“Yeah!’

The crystal shards suddenly appeared in the empty air in front of Hiro. Those things gave off a dazzling light and circled around the body of NPC Fred, who didn’t move an inch. Within seconds, the crystal shards disappeared and NPC Fred was resurrected.

The man jumped to his feet as if everything that had just happened to him had never happened. He looked back at Hiro with a smile on his face.

“Congratulations! You have successfully completed the examination!”

“You are a very talented barbarian. You deserve the advance job class.”

[You will be teleported to the Half-Blood Academy]

Hiro was still checking the surroundings when his sight suddenly became blurry and dark. He could not see anything, while his body could feel that the very dark place was extremely cold. It was as if he was in a large hall full of AC that had no lights.

He waited patiently. Hiro couldn’t wait to see the types of advance jobs he had been waiting for. He had to choose again this time.

“Hummm, Hiro, are you there?”

Spyro’s voice sounded in his ears, very close. Until Hiro could hear the sound of his wings flapping. It seemed the dragon couldn’t see in the dark.

“I’m here.”

Zap!

Suddenly, a very bright light appeared from above the ceiling of the room, highlighting Hiro who reflexively squinted his eyes because of the dazzling light. In the next second, he could hear the sound of approaching footsteps.

Eva. The Headmistress.

The woman walked over to Hiro. This time, she wore a neat white blazer and a very short white span skirt, so Hiro could see her thick and smooth thighs.

“Congratulations, Player NightFall! You did a great job!” For the first time, Hiro saw the NPC Headmistress in person. She was much more attractive in person than behind the screen or the statue of herself that Hiro had seen in the front yard of the academy area.

“Thanks.”

The woman smiled after getting a response from Hiro.

“I’ve been watching you so far. You are indeed talented. Who exactly are you, NightFall?” Eva suddenly leaned in to take a closer look at Hiro. She bent her body slightly and made her protruding cleavage squeeze against each other. It looked very tight, struggling to get out of a small button that restrained it.

Hiro swallowed hard. Did an NPC really have to be like that?

“Thank you. I am just myself, Headmistress.” He answered without moving from his spot in the slightest.

“You know… that face of yours, you look a bit like someone. Did you purposely adjust your physical appearance to be similar to that person?”

Hiro was slightly surprised at her question. He grew suspicious. Could an NPC really ask such a very specific thing? This time, he frowned before answering. He knew well where the conversation would lead him. Even Spyro, who was perched on his shoulder, was slightly gripping him with its paws as if it had the same suspicion.

“Yes, of course. Who doesn’t want to have that handsome face like his? He’s a legend,” he lied. His ability to lie had increased lately. Even though the woman in front of him was supposed to be an NPC with an AI brain, she seemed to squint her eyes suspiciously at Hiro. Before she finally turned around and clapped her hands three times.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Poof!

A small explosion appeared in the air in front of Hiro. Straight with his head. The small explosion emitted a thick smoke that only lasted for a few seconds before Nyx finally emerged from the smoke.

“Yes, Headmistress!”

Hiro felt it had been a long time since he had last seen Nyx’s form before his eyes. Not on screen as a bot to help him answer questions.

“Nyx, can you help him with the advance job class?” the woman asked the android to assist Hiro. Hiro felt more relieved after hearing that. Because of the strange question the Headmistress had asked him, he felt uncomfortable having to talk to her any longer than this conversation.

“Of course, Headmistress. It’s my job.” Nyx still hadn’t lifted his head. He really respected the Headmistress.

“All right. I guess this is the time to say goodbye… or see you again?”

Hiro only gave a nod in response. The woman blinked an eye before she left the room, walking like a model.

Ding!

A transparent screen that made Hiro feel a little nostalgic with the time he made his avatar reappeared on his screen. It displayed a miniature of his body as well as the list of advance job classes offered by the system.

[Advance Job Class]
