Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

Chapter 114 Fighting Back!

Chapter 114 Fighting Back!

Humans were born with limitations. That’s something Roy has experienced firsthand. His basic stats couldn’t go beyond 50 without external assistance because he has hit his limit. Only after awakening would he break a limiter and be able to grow stronger physically. But awakening stones and platforms were monopolized by the Royal Family.

Only by tackling the ceremony’s trials and completing them to the very last one can one gain the chance to awaken.

But if you’re able to break a limiter before awakening, then when you awaken, your second limiter will also shatter!

GhostWalker planned to shatter two of his limiters in the first stage so that his third limiter would shatter when he reawakens.

And… that would’ve been possible if not for Roy’s interference. Because of Roy, the sole reason GhostWalker had joined this mission remained unfulfilled. Thus, he intended to finish him in a cruel manner. Punching the shit out of him sounded good.

“Thud!” He threw away his sword and walked up to Roy.

His fist, coated in chaotic energy, shot out towards Roy’s face.

“Pah!” This wasn’t the sound of bones shattering. This also wasn’t the sound of someone’s fist landing on someone’s face. This was the sound of someone grabbing someone’s fist in their grasp!!!

Seeing that his fist was stopped by Roy, GhostWalker was so shocked that his eyes opened so ridiculously wide that they threatened to pop out of their sockets.

His stats were beyond the limits of an unawakened. How could an unawakened like Roy stop it?!!!.

?Ding! Power boost is in effect!?

?Your Strength, Agility, and Stamina are at 100!?This notification that rang in Roy’s ears went unnoticed by GhostWalker.?

After grabbing GhostWalker’s fist, Roy even lowered it.

Their eyes met.

Roy’s eyes were as calm as the ocean, but they were hiding a volcano that was about to erupt.

?[0)??? Meanwhile, absolute disbelief could be seen in GhostWalker’s eyes.

It was as if, in a single second, he had seen the ghost of all the people he had killed waiting for him in the afterlife!

“You talk too much.” After speaking, Roy applied more force on the hand GhostWalker was struggling to free from his grasp.

Crack! As a result, it twisted out of shape!

“Im-impossible!” GhostWalker uttered unintelligently, pain assaulting him and his chaotic energy healing his wrist instantly.

Crack!

Roy shattered it again and sarcastically chuckled at him, “You aren’t the only one who can surpass such limitations. I, of the Baldwin, can too!”

GhostWalker saw a flaming red mark spreading out from Roy’s neck and covering his eye and forehead, making him look even more dashing and adding a hint of violence to his face.

His gaze troubled him greatly. Even at the cost of feeling the pain brought by the bones of his hand shattering, GhostWalker yanked it out of Roy’s iron-clamps-like grasp.

“Pa!”

Right then, Roy slapped his face with the back of his hand. The impact hurled him away like a shooting star, fixing him in a wall once again.

“Grr!” A suppressed road escaped the hollows of his throat as he forced himself out of it and landed on the ground. Meanwhile, Roy also stood up and signaled him to come at him.

They charged at each other like behemoths, and while dancing all over the hall, they exchanged moves 50 times, their fists clashing several times, producing shockwaves so strong that the ground cracked.

The cobwebs-like cracks spread from the point of impact and covered the walls, pillars, and ceiling. It didn’t look like the two warriors at the first stage were fighting. It looked more like a clash between two peak-level Weapon Masters.

?Ding! You landed a hit on GhostWalker. He lost 1 HP!?

?Ding! You stuck GhostWalker thrice. He lost 2 HP!?

?Ding! You stuck GhostWalker a dozen times. He lost 12 HP!?

In another minute, they exchanged 50 more moves. GhostWalker didn’t land a single one. The same couldn’t be said for Roy. He threw fifty punches but smashed his face forty times.

The only reason he couldn’t do the same in the first exchange was that he was getting used to his newfound strength.

Under Roy’s extreme care, GhostWalker not only lost all his front teeth, but his jaw was also dislocated and then broken down.

Basically, Roy gave him plastic surgery for free.

But GhostWalker was an ungrateful son of a bitch. He didn’t like how Roy fiercely reassigned his facial features.

Thus, he used Chaotic energy to restore his look to what it originally looked like, but his teeth were regenerating very slowly. It would take months for them to grow fully.

“I refuse to believe you’re better than me.”

He cried out at Roy like a sore loser. But his cries were cut short as Roy grabbed his face and dragged him all the way back to the wall behind the altar, smashing his head into it again and again like an angel of death. The look in his eyes said that he wasn’t gonna stop until his head burst like a balloon.

But before Roy’s intentions could be realized, a crimson wind burst out from GhostWalker’s body, catching him off guard.

?-1 HP!?

Struck by it, Roy was thrown back by thirty meters.

A system’s notification rang in his mind.

?Ding! Your bloodline skill buff will end in five to eight minutes!?

‘I need to end this quickly.’ Roy thought, his face revealing no hint of his desperate situation. GhostWalker’s power up was permanent. But his was temporary. If he failed to end this battle within the next couple of minutes, this hall would be his grave!

He turned his attention to GhostWalker. “What other tricks do you’ve? Pull them all out!”

GhostWalker pulled out a pendulum.

Looking at it, Roy felt threatened, his eyes widening. “Is this… the condensation of the power you’ve split from your flesh?”

“How do you know about that?” GhostWalker asked in shock.

His true level should be a secret known only to the servants of Chaos. How the heck was Roy privy to such information?!
