Chapter 431 Roy Take Over.
Chapter 431 Roy Take Over.
Aaarrrgggh!"
A guttural cry erupted from the mouth of the hobgoblin, a sound that could only be compared to the wailing of a tortured soul in the deepest pits of hell. It couldn't help but cry out in rage and sorrow as it had lost its entire family at the hands of the being it considered insignificant.
With an almost inhuman level of intensity, it lunged towards Delilah, its muscles bulging and twitching with the ferocity of its attack.
Swoosh!
Its fists, the size of boulders, blasted through the air and hurtled towards her with the force of a freight train.
Delilah arched her back and bent her waist in ways that defied the laws of human anatomy, dodging the hobgoblin's fist by a mere fraction of an inch.
'Damn, that was close!'
As the hobgoblin's fist sailed past her, she could feel the rush of air as it whooshed by her nose, her pretty eyes widening. It was a close call, but she had managed to outmaneuver her opponent with her quick thinking and agile and flexible body.
A fierce glint flashed in Delilah's eyes as multiple daggers appeared in her hands out of thin air.
Puchi!
The sound of flesh being penetrated by blades filled the air as Delilah plunged the sharp, deadly daggers into the hobgoblin's arm.
The hobgoblin let out a high-pitched scream and pulled back its arm from above Delilah, its body convulsing with pain as it stumbled backwards, struggling to maintain its balance.
Delilah's quick thinking and swift action had caught the hobgoblin off guard, leaving it vulnerable to her attack!
Without hesitation, Delilah hurled her trusty daggers at the hobgoblin, who proved that she wasn't its match as with swift swipes of its massive claws, it expertly deflected each and every one of the deadly blades.
pà?dá-???ê?.?ó? It grinned at her as it pulled out the daggers from its wrist, blood gushing out and splashing on the floor.
It was deliberately slow as it dropped the daggers as if it wanted to prove something. In the time it took for the daggers to hit the ground, its bleeding stopped. But that was not the end of it. Its wound started to close at a rate visible to the naked eye.
Seeing that all her efforts were in vain, Delilah felt exasperated.
It was quite clear that she couldn't take it down using ordinary moves.
She knew that the only way to deal massive damage was to use her ultimate, but the problem was she didn't have the stamina to use it. She was low on her aura and energy and very close to collapsing.
"Tsk!"
Delilah emitted a clucking sound with her tongue, a clear indication of her displeasure and urgency.
"I am done playing with you. Go and fight someone your own size," she said as she began sprinting towards Roy with all the speed and strength at her disposal.
The target of her taunt was none other than the dungeon boss. It ran after her like an enraged bull that had seen red.
Delilah sped up, bringing out strength from her very core.
She was determined to reach safety and avoid the clutches of the hobgoblin, who was hot on her heels with an unrestrained fury that was evident from its snarling expression.
Yet, despite her best efforts, it didn't seem like things would go according to her plans.
The hobgoblin was relentless in its pursuit and closing in on her fast. Its powerful and muscular limbs propelled it forward with such intensity that Delilah knew that it would be futile to try and outrun it.
But she was not one to surrender without a fight. She had never been a helpless lamb waiting to be led to the slaughter; she was a fighter with the skills and determination to defend herself.
In a swift motion, Delilah whipped her wrist around, and several gleaming daggers materialized in the air, ready to do her bidding.
"Stop it for me! Go!" she exclaimed, causing the flying daggers to blastoff towards the hobgoblin's weak point with incredible speed and ridiculous precision. Two flew towards its chest. One went for its head. The last one threatened to cut off any possibility of it fathering a child.
All of its four weak points were targeted, but it could only defend two as it only had two hands. In the end, it chose to save its head and manhood!
Puchi! Puchi!
Two of the flying daggers struck the hobgoblin's chest, causing it to wince in pain, while the rest were parried away by its strong and callous hands.
However, even this brief moment of distraction was enough for Delilah to regain her composure and reach Roy, who was waiting for her.
"I am done fighting. Take it from here." Delilah said to Roy,
She was so tired that she was unable to continue fighting, hence why she left it up to Roy to finish the task. Not to mention, defeating the Hobgoblin in her current state was challenging for her, but it was an easy task for Roy.
"Got it. You go ahead and take a breather," Roy said.
Delilah nodded gratefully and stepped back, watching as Roy deliberately walked toward the hobgoblin in a slow and relaxed manner.
"You're in for a world of hurt, you ugly brute," Delilah muttered with a grin as she stuck her tongue out at the dungeon boss, who was glaring at her.
It looked like a husband was going to avenge his wife as Roy stepped up to confront the dungeon boss.
In this intense moment, Roy's eyes were fixed on the hobgoblin, cold and unwavering.
He closed the distance between them, taking measured steps towards the creature, his body free of tension.
The Hobgoblin's eyes widened to the size of saucers as it was shocked by his action, never had it ever seen such a fearless man.
It watched him warily, trying to discern what gave him such confidence.
"Come at me."
Without warning, Roy beckoned the hobgoblin to attack him, his hand moving teasingly back and forth.
The creature, feeling provoked, launched a fierce punch at Roy with startling speed. He stood still as if his soul had left his body. The hobgoblin already seemed to see his body getting smashed to a meat paste by its blow.
Roy waited until the very last moment to make his move. With a sudden, fluid motion, he reached out and caught the hobgoblin's massive fist in his own hand.
This shocked it so much that its jaw dropped.
"Size doesn't mean strength. You are bigger than me, but it doesn't make you stronger." Roy said, holding it firm as the creature struggled to free itself.
The hobgoblin's heart raced in feat as it was powerless against Roy's grip, even with its incredible strength in full display. It felt as if its hand had been caught in a vice.
It thrashed and twisted, but to no avail.
Roy had immobilized it in an instant, and the hobgoblin was left to wonder how he could have been so easily overcome. Just who the heck was it fighting?
"It's too soon to be shocked."
Saying this, Roy raised his hand. As a result, its feet left the ground, and it was hoisted into the air effortlessly. It was a total violation of its right. It was picked up like a child!
The creature's eyes widened in shock and fear as it dangled helplessly, its feet kicking futilely in the air.
"Stop struggling." Roy scolded as he jerked his hand to the left, and the hobgoblin was thrown across the room.
Whoosh!
It hurtled towards the hard surface of the opposite wall.
Bam!
The hobgoblin slammed into the wall with a sickening thud, its body twisting and contorting unnaturally and its head drilling a hole in the wall as it absorbed the force of the collision.
The impact was brutal.
For a moment, it remained there, stunned and unmoving, before pulling its head out of the hole in the wall and slowly pushing itself upright.
What it didn't know was that its torment hadn't ended.
It had just pulled its head out of the wall and turned around to face Roy when it saw him flicking his finger forward.
With a flick of his finger, Roy conjured an aura sword out of thin air, its glowing blade pulsing with a fierce energy, and with a raise of his eyebrows, he sent it flying towards the Hobgoblin.
Swoosh!
The sword was so fast that it reached its target in the blink of an eye. The hobgoblin didn't have any time to react or out up dedense before his flesh was penetrated by the aura sword, its blade sinking into its chest and coming out of its back, pinning it to the wall like a grotesque insect on display. Even the holy son didn't have it as bad as the hobgoblin.
Delilah watched it all in amazement, impressed yet again by Roy's abilities. The hobgoblin, whom she had struggled against, had been dispatched by Roy with terrifying ease.
