Chapter 121: APOCALYPSE DAWN (6)

Chapter 121: APOCALYPSE DAWN (6)

Chapter 121: APOCALYPSE DAWN (6)

Jin had hurled his dagger at the Sorcerer. The Sorcerer had sensed the dagger approaching and had used telekinesis, stopping the dagger from touching his body.

Jin, smirking, had leaped into the air. A foot had landed on the hovering dagger that had failed to reach the Sorcerer. Jin jumped off of the dagger and crashed down on the Sorcerer. He closed his hand, beckoning his dagger to him. Then, he raised it into the air.

Jin crashed down on the Sorcerer, his dagger thrusting into his skull, then brain. Jin yanked the dagger out of the Sorcerer and landed on his feet. He pulled his hood over his head, as the Sorcerer slowly leaned. The Sorcerer leaned forward until it had collapsed. Jin stood, smirking as system screens appeared before him.

Jin retained his smirk as his eyes began to glow a voilent, raging green. Then, his mask slowly reappeared on his face.

Many of creatures in the distance had become faintly fearful of Jin. Others simply became infuriated in that he had just slain their Sorcerer. And Jin, he was simply happy to have his skills again.

"O skills," he smirked, "I had no idea I would be so miserable without you all," he jammed his hands in his pockets, "don't worry, I've slain the man who kidnapped you, and now. I missed you so dearl."

The monsters had all assembled in the distance, opposite Jin. The person standing nearest was none other than the strange humanoid creature with the skin of the night sky. It was a celestial race, one of the gods. Its kind had been supressed when Magic was.

It stood, peering at Jin. "Now that you have reobtained your power, human," it said, "what do you plan to do? Slaughter us all? Take our lives from

us like you did in the past?

"I'll let you know now that I am not going out without fighting to the very end. And remember this boy," it glared, "we are the weakest of the monsters to come. There will be revulsion. One in which you pay for what you have done. You created us ... made us monsters. For that, you must pay!"

The creatures watched Jin vanish out of nowhere. They had started looking around for him, but their efforts were to no avail. Where had the boy vanished?

Suddenly, a hovering dagger had started to cause the fall of many of the monsters from behind. A hovering, glowing dagger. One so familiar. It belonged to Jin.

The rocky monsters who all stood behind the plague had felt daggers penetrating their cores. One by one they had exploded, shredding away the vessels of their monsterous comrades. They had been used like bombs. Detonating weapons.

The creatures all spun around; looking for the hovering dagger but it constantly teleported accross the plain. They could not keep up. What kind of atrocity was this. They were ones who supposed to be the monsters!

However, they were certainly wrong. The monster Jin will become shall make people and monsters alike quail at his very name and presence. This monster would not be contained for too long. Power will corrupt.

The myriad of monsterswhich was once uncountable to Jinhad become fairly countable. Then, they had fallen such that Jin could count them with his fingers and toes.

Jin reappeared; his hood over his head, his mask over his face, his hands jammed in his pockets. "Here I thought you were going to be strong."

[New Task]

[Eliminate 30 Humans]

[Reward: 60 Exp]

[Progression: 0/30 kills]

Jin frowned. "You don't even count as humans ... of course you don't." disappointment to his tone.

He sighed as he approached the remaining monsters.

A few had lunged at him. He teleported and slashed at one. He teleported and slashed at another. Then he repeated the same thing over and over again. Creatures were falling again. He was incredibly skilled with his dagger. And skilled with his skills. These creatures were far too easy for him.

However, the creature's who would come in seven days were to destroy his confidence. Monsters. The army of Hel, who was the embodiment of death itself. A great apocalypse had arisen ... but an even greater one was to be arisen in these seven days.

Jin stood before the humanoid creature with the skin of the night sky. His masked disappeared from his face. Apathy was in his eyes. "Hey ... what's your name?" He asked.

The creature had fumbled. He was the last monster standing. What was thousands only just now had become but a single, lonesome single-digit. "M-me? Y-you're asking for my name?"

Jin scoffed. "Who else could I ask that? There is not single soul except for you here, assuming you do have a soul. What's your name? I don't have all day."

The creature deflated. "I ... I don't ... remember."

"Pity on you," Jin said, "I can't afford to forget my name. I'll call you Kylo."

The creature grimaced. "Why would you ... call me that?"

"I don't know," Jin said, "but what I do know is that you're not in the position to be asking the questions."

"Understood. Then Kylo I permit you to call me ..."

"Kylo ... you will be my messenger. I want you go back into the Earth where you've come from or whatever and deliver a message for me," Jin said, nose looking down at the creature.

Kylo stuttered. "W-what message might that be? I am not supposed to be asking questions, I know but"

"Tell them," Jin's eyes glowed, "to send the strongest motherfuckers they've got. Tell them if it's a war of genocide they want ... such they shall get, as long as I'm becoming OP in the process," Jin smirked, "Understood?"

Kylo qailed, looking down. "Yes ... I shall deliver you message."

Jin's mask manifested on his face. He peered at Kylo for a while, unmoving, silent. Then, he turned around and walked off.

After walking a couple of steps, he stopped; his back still turned on the last creature. "And hey, Kylo ..."

"Y-Yeah?"

"My name is the Jin, The successor of Loki and the God of mischief. You didn't get get my name. And lastly, I'll make a galaxy mat out of your skin and place it on my bedroom floor if you fail to deliver my message."

Kylo remained speechless, gulping down nothing but air.

Jin walked away. "I'm going home ... out here's boring."

[ ARC 1 - ENDS ]

***

What to expect from Arc 2:

- More family friendliness - I've gotten complaints about how gorey and psychologically unstable the entirety of Arc 1 was. So in Arc 2, after a myriad comprised of 10 gorey chapters entitled [New World], I'll be refraining from this.

- From 18+ to 16+ - Arc 1 was excessive with the gore, and so was the first 10 chapters of Arc 2. After the first ten chapters of Arc 2, the novel becomes friendlier but darker at the same time.

- Introducing? Cultivation World!

Everyone has gotten back their abilities, and the world slowly becomes a cultivation world after the domes are destroyed.

- Hooray, more leveling!

Many readers dropped the novel because Arc 1 didn't have a lot of action in the first 50 chapters. That's not the case here! Expect A LOT of system leveling and goodies! (After the first 10 chapters, that is)

- Apocalyptic World!

Exactly what the title implies ... ?

- More Characters, Friendliness, Dark humor, and Comedy

The problem with Arc 1 was imbalance. The world doesn't always have to be dark just because Jin's world is. I'll be trying my best to make you smile while reading.(After the first 10 chapters, that is)

Bottomline:

I hope you're willing to spend your time and money on Arc 2; which I'll be trying to make a more family friendly, cultivation type, and mystery, more leveling experience.
