Chapter 356: Chapter 325: Giant Crab_1
Boom, boom, boom!
A giant crab chased the third child, ceaselessly smashing its pincers down onto the ground leaving a series of large holes. Thanks to his small stature, the third child deftly evaded every attack.
In the midst of dodging, he noticed a massive wound on the crab’s abdomen, its viscera spilling out.
Usually, these sea monsters would not come to shore unless they were gravely wounded, for reasons unknown.
However, understanding this held no relevance. The only important thing was to survive.
It was due to that injury that the third child was even able to evade the attacks. He would have been squashed otherwise.
“Could I kill it by attacking its wounds?”
A daring thought popped up inside the third child’s head during evasion time. He glanced around and saw, not too far away, an abandoned paddle.
Xu Mu had taught him swordsmanship. The difference between having a weapon or going weaponless was like night and day.
Utilizing his flexibility, while he was avoiding the giant crab’s attack, he swiftly moved to the paddle and, with a roll, effortlessly grabbed it.
With the paddle in his hands, his momentum noticeably changed.
Brother Xu once stated that one can only resort to this in dangerous circumstances. This should qualify as dangerous, right?
Upon thinking about using his swordsmanship, the third child couldn’t help but feel excited. He bristled with youthful impatience and could barely restrain himself from rushing the giant crab.
Rushing Thunder Style!
The third child adjusted his breath, his speed suddenly soaring. He evaded the giant crab’s massive pincers and darted under it. He brandished the paddle as if it were a sword, aggressively stabbing it towards the monster.
Boom!
The tip of the paddle immediately shattered, and his arm shook uncontrollably.
Is this too tough?
The third child was stunned, promptly evading the attack, orbiting the giant crab.
He would have liked to directly attack the crab’s wounds, but it was located near the tail, too close to the ground. One misstep, and he could be crushed – it was too difficult to approach.
His gaze scanned the surroundings, and then alighted upon a slope. A brilliant idea immediately formed in his mind.
Clatter-clatter!
The giant crab didn’t grasp the incoming danger. The wound on its abdomen made it irritable, and it incessantly launched attacks at the small figure ahead. Yet, the pain emanating from the wound made its body to progressively heavier, making it impossible to catch the ant it could have easily squashed in the past.
The two played a game of catch until they reached the slope. The third child, taking advantage of the moment the giant crab climbed up the slope, slid down and landed directly at the spot of the crab’s wound.
Lightning Flash Style!
The third child summoned all his strength, his hands gripping his makeshift sword, and his waist suddenly twisting. He eliminated all hesitation and brutally thrust the paddle into the crab’s wound.
Clatter-clatter! Hiss!
The giant crab issued a painful screech. Its entire body convulsed violently as though it were being electrocuted.
The third child, paddle still in hand, viciously stirred, and then forcefully pulled, a heap of fluids and viscera, reeking of a raw, pungent smell, spewed out.
Hiss!
The giant crab’s colossal pincers rose high in the air, and the massive body heavily fell down, only managing some feeble spasms.
The third child, covered in the nauseous fluid, crawled out from under the crab’s body. Aside from feeling somewhat drained, he had not suffered any injuries.
The kids who had been watching from a distance, as well as the adults who had just arrived, were all left flabbergasted by this scene.
“Hehe!”
The third child had a simple smile on his dirty face, his heart brimming with a sense of accomplishment.
For such a young child to accomplish such a formidable feat, it felt as if he had undergone an incredible transformation.
“I won! I defeated it!”
The third child waved towards the crowd, inviting everyone over to dismantle the giant crab.
A few courageous villagers cautiously walked over, but halfway through, they turned around and began running in panic.
“What’s wrong with you?” the third child asked, confused.
“Run! Quick, run, third child!”
The villagers yelled while running.
“Run?”
The third child’s heart jumped. Slowly, he turned around. To his shock, the giant crab, which had fallen down, was standing before him once more, lifting its heavy pincers and ready to strike.
This is it!
The third child internally screamed in despair.
He had exerted too much force before and, with the end of the battle, his body was totally drained. Currently, he didn’t have any energy even to flee.
Just at this moment, the sea churned, and dozens of water balls formed in mid-air. They were propelled by an invisible force, shooting out like bullets, turning the giant crab into a honeycomb. Even the ground was riddled with holes.
The third child stood dumbfounded at the side, not daring to move a muscle.
Fortunately, the water balls had a clear target. None of them hit him, or his fate would have been worse than the crab’s.
In the turbulent waters, a team of white-scaled soldiers from the Sea Clan emerged.
“It’s the esteemed group from the Saint Clan!”
The villagers around the beach, upon seeing the troop of the white-scaled Sea Clan, immediately knelt down, burying their heads into the ground and trembling.
Even witnessing Nan Peiyao, a mixed-blood, had them shaken. Naturally, they were even more fearful of the pure-blood Sea Clan.
Only the third child, whether due to extreme fear or something else, remained standing, frozen on the spot.
A white-scaled Sea Clan soldier, donned in silver helmet embedded with blue gemstones and brandishing a white trident, waved. A water tentacle shot out, ensnaring the third child and hoisting him up to his face.
“Human! What’s your name?” the white-scaled Sea Clan soldier asked dispassionately.
“Thi-third child!”
The third child stammered, his teeth chattering.
This fear stemmed not only from the opponent’s formidable power, but also the cumulative respect from generations of reverence. They lived in the region of the Sea Clan. To them, the Sea Clan was divine, possessing the capability to casually murder and torment them. They were the Sea Clan’s slaves.
“You’ve practiced some skills. Who taught you?”
The calm gaze of the white-scaled Sea Clan soldier induced an overwhelming pressure. The third child’s entire body was trembling, even the paddle in his hand slipped from his grasp.
“I, I…”
The third child stuttered. He wanted to answer, but a growing sense of unease held his tongue. His mind raced through Xu Mu’s instructions, but under the gaze of the white-scaled Sea Clan soldier, his thoughts froze, and he couldn’t even lie.
At that moment, two figures flew over on Magic Artifacts from far off. Upon spotting the white-scaled Sea Clan soldier, they immediately jumped off their Magic Artifacts and knelt onto the ground.
“Nan Peiyao (Nan Bi Yun) of White Swallow Island reporting for duty, saluting the Sea Patrol Envoy!”
The white-scaled Sea Clan soldier slightly furrowed his brows, waved his trident, and tossed the third child in front of them.
“This human is from your island, right? Can any of you tell me why he has received training?” The voice of the white-scaled Sea Clan soldier was indifferent, yet it made the two tremble as they heard it.
Upon seeing the third child’s plight, the only thought ringing in Nan Peiyao’s head was ‘We are doomed!’
