The group traveled fast, rapidly flying toward the Sunset Plains. Along the way, they would encounter a team of patrolling Abyssal Demons every two hundred miles they traveled. They even nearly stumbled into the other party on a few occasions. Luckily for them, they had managed to hide in time with Yang Ling’s warning, never once having to engage in battle.
After fearfully rushing for several hours, even the many wanderers were panting heavily, much less the gold-robed warriors who only had abilities at the sage level or Domain Expert. Seeing them run slower and slower, the Cutting Edge Warrior Richardson knit his brows and accelerated, rushing to the front of the team, “Brother Yang Ling, let’s rest for a moment at the valley in front!”
“Alright, it’s good to rest for a while!” Yang Ling nodded as he looked at the Corpse Wizard King, demoness, and the rest of the group, all drenched in sweat. He then led the group and charged toward the valley.
The valley was not large, but it was immeasurably deep. The group noticed a clear lake after walking into the valley following a winding stream. The area faced the mountains on three sides and was dotted with lush trees. The steep cliffs seemed a thousand meters tall, making the area extremely well hidden. Even if a large team of Evil Demons was to make their way past the outside of the valley, they would not be able to find the group unless they searched inside the valley.
“We’re finally safe!”
“That’s right. I don’t know what’s going on with the Abyssal Demons. Why would they suddenly increase the intensity of their patrols!”
...
The group completely relaxed after entering the valley. Some of them laid down on the ground and panted heavily, some leaned on the trees and discussed the abnormal actions of the Evil Demons, while others washed their faces with the refreshing water from the lake.
Unlike the Dark Dragon King, Flying Dragon King, and the rest of the group who were lying lazily on the trees like a worm, the demoness was much more hardworking. She caught her breath before taking out the reserve meat and seasoning she had in her Space Ring, quickly setting up a fire and roasting the meat, preparing a scrumptious feast for Yang Ling. She moved fast, moving around like a busy bee. She looked like a well-trained maid.
“Brother Yang Ling, that’s your personal maid?” Richardson had a glint in his eyes when he saw the beautiful and hardworking demoness.
He had seen his fair share of beautiful women, even powerful female Divine-level Experts. However, he had not seen many women who were as beautiful and hardworking, yet had a certain level of ability, like the demoness. More importantly, the demoness had an aura that not any ordinary woman had.
Sexy, mature, as well as a tinge of an alluring bestial quality!
“This... Forget it!” Yang Ling was silently in deliberation, glossing over the topic.
He did not know if she had turned over a new leaf after being tamed or that she had advanced in her training, but the actions of the demoness had become more gentle and feminine. Those who did not know of the situation would never guess her true identity. Richardson had a glint in his eyes, while the gazes of the other wanderers were drawn to her supple breasts and ample buttocks.
Seeing that Richardson seemed to have developed a special feeling for the demoness, Yang Ling had a feeling of unease in his heart. He had wanted to give Richardson a slight explanation but did not know how to start. He could not come clean and tell Richardson that he had taken a fancy over a transvestite, could he?
“Tsk tsk, fragrant, so fragrant!” Just as Yang Ling was deliberating as to how best to approach the topic, Richardson had quickly walked to the front of the demoness, finding an excuse to approach and flirt with her.
“It’s not ready yet. It’ll become even more fragrant after I put on some seasoning!” The demoness Sala smiled, gently brushing a layer of fragrant oil onto the meat, then scattered on a few spices. Perhaps it was because of the sweltering heat, or that she was close to the pile of fire, her fair face was tinged with red, making her look exceptionally alluring.
“Fragrant, it smells nice, and it must taste even better! Oh, my tongue...” Catching a whiff of the tempting fragrance, Richardson could not help but slice off a piece of meat and put it in his mouth. However, while the meat was fragrant, it nearly burned his tongue off. He gulped down a cup of water from the lake that the demoness had put aside. The demoness burst out in laughter when she saw how flustered he was.
“What a fool, he’s even more stupid than a monkey!” The demoness smiled as she looked at the Giant Ape King that was panting as it laid down on a tree. She sliced off a small piece of roast, then gently blew on it before smothering it in sauce and handing it to Richardson, “My lord has said that we should always wait for the meat to cool. If you’re going to eat like this, you won’t even know what the meat tastes like even after you finish the entire slab of meat!”
“Tsk tsk, it’s the same piece of meat, but why does it feel more fragrant when you slice a piece off for me?” Richardson swallowed the meat the demoness handed over to him, then raised his blade to slice off another piece from the thigh, dipping it in the sauce just like the demoness had done, seizing the opportunity to close the distance between them. He talked about the interesting events he had encountered as a wanderer and soon got the name of the demoness like a big bad wolf.
...
The flames of passion were sprouting!
Soon, the two of them were head over heels for each other, with Yang Ling shaking his head as he saw the events unfold by the side. To think that the event would develop in the direction he was worried about.
Should I tell Richardson the truth soon?
Yang Ling knit his brows as he looked at the demoness and Richardson laughing as they talked to each other. It was definitely inappropriate to allow them to continue like this. However, seeing the radiant smile of the demoness and thinking about how she had never been this happy after being subjugated, Yang Ling could not help but hesitate.
The demoness’s greatest wish was to become a woman, a woman in every sense of the word. For this, she had trained like it was the most important thing in her life, hoping that she could reach the divine level as soon as possible so that she could become a woman after the transformation. Someone else might not know how large of a price she had paid, but Yang Ling understood it clearly through the Soul Imprint deep within her brain.
“Forget it. I’ll take things as it comes!” Seeing the radiant smile of the demoness, then looking at the smitten Richardson, Yang Ling heaved a sigh in secret.
It was better to follow nature’s will for some things. Reckless interruption might instead have an opposite effect!
After resting for two hours, the group once again resumed their journey toward the Sunset Plains. Unlike before, Richardson sent two wanderers with abilities of a High-level Deity to cover the rear of the group while he went to the front under the name of leading the way, seizing the opportunity to chat with the demoness behind Yang Ling.
“Miss Sala, what are we having tonight?” Richardson’s tone was gentle, which was rare coming from him.
“You finished the entire slab of roast pork, what else can we eat other than dried rations?” The demoness rolled her eyes toward Richardson, then broke into a smile after she saw his expression that seemed desperate for food.
“Hehe, I didn’t have a choice. It was too fragrant. Why not we go hunt later and get back a few rabbits or a fat sheep?”
...
Richardson and the demoness laughed as they spoke, their relationship getting closer and closer. Yang Ling shook his head. Later, he decided to concentrate on the journey. He didn’t have to think about it if he didn’t see it! He swapped in a team of energetic Horned Bee Beasts and instructed them to be on high alert, in case they suddenly encountered a large team of Abyssal Demons.
Whoosh...
After the rest, the speed of the group had become visibly faster, leaping past the forest like a large bird. Other than a faint string of footprints, they left no traces behind. They hid from the patrolling Abyssal Demons time and time again with Yang Ling’s warning, advancing without any scares.
Boom...
A few hours later, the group arrived before a raging river. The river was not wide, but the water was rapid, booming whenever it collided with the rocks. The water would then turn and flow toward the west, forming a magnificent valley of water before the group. More surprisingly, the water was very murky, even a little red. From a distance, it looked like a raging river of blood!
“Red River Valley, we’ve finally arrived at the Red River Valley!” The black-robed elder Wilcox leading the way was incredibly excited when he saw the magnificent river valley.
They would arrive at the Sunset Plains after they made it past the Red River Valley and a few tall mountains. There, there was the only Wandering Castle in the area of a radius of a few hundred miles. As long as they entered the Wandering Castle, the Abyssal Demons would not dare to barge in, no matter how powerful they were. When that time comes, they could finally relax thoroughly and search for an opportunity to infiltrate Moon Lake.
“That’s weird, why does the water look similar to fresh blood?” The demoness knit her brows, voicing out the doubt in everyone’s hearts.
“Pure Gold Sand, there is a substantial amount of red Pure Gold Sand in the water. That’s why it looks the way it does!” Looking at the confused demoness beside him, Richardson smiled before he continued, “Pure Gold Sand is extremely precious, being able to enhance the hardness and flexibility of a weapon drastically. Unfortunately, the water is flowing too rapidly, making it extremely difficult to fish out the tiny ores of Pure Gold Sand within. Because of the impurities, it is also very difficult to refine the Pure Gold Sand for use in weapons even after it is fished out!”
“That’s right. Legend has it that a long time ago, there exists Pure Gold Sand of extreme purity in every corner of the river valley. Back then, factions and powerful fighters from the various large dimensions would engage in intense conflict over this area, moving away all of the Pure Gold Sand in the valley. After millennia, there’s nothing left other than the murky water!” The black-robed elder Wilcox was overcome with emotion as he thought about the ancient legend and looked at the raging currents.
Other than a high and mighty Core Deity, Dimensional Guardian or Dimensional Wanderer, a High-level Deity would one day perish, no matter how powerful they were. The magnificent Red River Valley has seen many masters and had many corpses buried there. However, due to the erosion of the water and the piling up of mud, the tombs of the dead had all been washed away as time passed. Only the murky water continued to rage!
It could drastically enhance the hardness and flexibility of weapons?
Thinking about the Dark Sand Ores on Dark Sand Island where the pirate Margaret was, Yang Ling had a thought. He walked forward and scooped up a handful of water for closer inspection, extending his hand to rub the Pure Gold Sand Ores that felt like thin sand.
It was hard, harder than meteors from other dimensions that would sometimes get thrown out of the Space Cracks!
After rubbing the ores, Yang Ling found, in his surprise, that the Pure Gold Sand Ores was much harder than he had expected. He could not shatter it even if he used all the strength he had. At the very least, it was much harder than Dark Sand Ores. He could not imagine how hard a weapon that was made entirely out of the Pure Gold Sand Ores would be!
